Other mistake: During the gypsy fair, when the young Phantom is hurriedly pulling the bag back over his head, you can see the actor's face from the side, through the bars of the cage. There is no deformity, even though the angle of the shot shows the top right of his face, where the mask is always worn later. Even moreso: his deformity is bumpy, and the side of his face is all baby smooth.
Other mistake: When Westley and Buttercup are in the fire swamp and Buttercup is burned for the first time look carefully at the fire spurt, it's several feet away from Buttercup and is clearly too far away to have burned her.
Other mistake: When Rafe and Evelyn are on the platform by the side of the Queen Mary, the platform is going up, but the ropes are not moving through the pulleys.
Other mistake: The credits for the Tarleton brothers in the opening credits have the twins switched with their actors. George Reeves doesn't play Brent, he plays Stuart. You know this because in the opening scene the two boys are talking about the party and asking Scarlett for dances, and George Reeves points at his brother and calls him "Brent."
Other mistake: When Margaret and Andrew first walk into the Immigration Office there are a group of extras seated directly to the left of them, in two rows. One of them, a guy with glasses and long black hair, wearing a white shirt with patterns (back row, second from the wall, next to the guy in the light yellow shirt), briefly looks at the camera as Margaret and Andrew walk by.
Other mistake: In the scene where Paolo leaves the stage after everyone discovers that he can't sing, his bodyguard Serge stops him and Paolo suddenly loses his Italian accent. Paolo sounds very American when he says "You work for me, Serge."
Other mistake: When a glass of milk is poured, if you look closely, the glass is filled but the level of milk in the bottle doesn't seem to lower. (00:16:00)
Other mistake: When James Bond's friend Kerim Bey gets shot at the gypsy camp, look closely: he is rubbing fake blood into his own arm. (00:43:10)
Other mistake: When they are playing polo on the field one guy scores a goal then when Mary-Kate scores the goal it is the same shot - the guy on the horse is in the same place during both shots.

Other mistake: When Sarah is at her Aunt Mitzi's house looking at the yearbook picture of Beau Burroughs, Beau's name appears on the top of the list, yet his picture is farthest to the right in a row of pictures. Yearbooks list names with the top name being on the left, and the last name on the right.
Other mistake: In the book Hazel is reading near the start of the film, the word 'to' is used 4 times in a row.
