Continuity mistake: The scene where the people are going to Skidmore for the box social, Laurie greets several young ladies on the front porch, they hear Gertie laugh and you can see the same young ladies just getting out of wagons and surries.
Ado Annie Carnes: Sometimes there seems like times that men ain't got no need for women.
Dancer: There's sometimes women ain't got no need for men.
Ado Annie Carnes: Yeah, but who wants to be dead?
Trivia: The title song from this musical is also the official state song of the state of Oklahoma.
