Other mistake: In the scene where Paolo leaves the stage after everyone discovers that he can't sing, his bodyguard Serge stops him and Paolo suddenly loses his Italian accent. Paolo sounds very American when he says "You work for me, Serge."
Other mistake: When the pirates are thrown off the boat by Peter, after being kissed by Wendy, the splash is not heard and they cannot be seen in the water when Peter flies up into the air.
Other mistake: When the home guard are trying to force the Swanger boys out of hiding by crushing Sally Swanger's fingers in the fence, it appears to be only her fingertips that they've trapped. Yet when Ruby and Ada come to help her (a couple of scenes later), as they pull the fence up, the majority of her fingers come out from the fence.
Other mistake: When Charlotte stubs her toe there are numerous shots of her walking normally in bare feet and sitting by the window there is a close up of her feet, for one her toes look fine, and if she had damaged the middle toe on her foot to extent it needed hospital treatment she would have had some trouble walking about normally. Even if she hadn't broken it, the doctor did put a support onto it suggesting it was hurt enough to warrant that. (00:39:40)
Other mistake: Harry (Jack Nicholson) tells Erica (Diane Keaton) that he only sees her in turtleneck tops. However, when he first meets Erica and Zoe in Erica's kitchen, she is wearing a scoop neck.
Other mistake: In several scenes the Detective is wearing his shield attached to his belt. NYC Detectives do not do this, if displayed it is pinned to their outermost garment.
Other mistake: In the scene where Betty and Joan are in the kitchen after dinner, we see the coffee percolating in the pot but never see Betty pour the coffee into the china pot before taking the tray into the living room.
Other mistake: In the main titles, for casting, the name "Brennan Dufrense", is listed. It should read 'Brennan Dufresne'.
Other mistake: Marian asks Winthrop to go pick up a book called "The Indiana State Educational Journal 1901-1910". When we see her reading the book, it actually says "The Indiana State Educational Journal 1890-1910". (01:08:25 - 01:13:50)
Other mistake: When it shows the railroad, there are no horizontal bars.
Other mistake: Considering how long the Prime Minister's car is parked outside in front of the only road into the school, where there is to be the school Christmas concert, it's surprising how many cars are still trying to find a parking space. Also, you can see that no cars are driving when Natalie gets out of the Prime Minister's car.
Other mistake: In the scene where Tom goes to look for O.J. at the house with the girl who had the accident, he talks to the man in the wheelchair. When her father tells the man in the wheelchair to leave he bumps a table, the table falls and so does a red vase, the vase makes a crashing/breaking noise, but it is never shown as being broken.
Other mistake: When "the killer" is pumping gas, if you count the clicks associated with a liter going into the tank, they equal a total of 33 liters of gas, not 27 which is what the pump stops on.
Other mistake: There have been many strange castings in movie history, but letting a character of African American descent, who is supposed to be light-skinned enough to pass as white, be played by blue-eyed Sir Anthony Hopkins, whose African roots, according to widely accepted ethnological theories, date some 40,000 years back, takes the cake. His young ego, played by Wentworth Miller, looks a lot more believable, but, luckily for him, the odds are close to zero that he will resemble Anthony Hopkins even faintly in 50 years from now.
Other mistake: When the contractor, Nino, is coming out from the fireplace, he says (in Italian) "I made this thing several years ago", but the real estate agent, Signor Martini, translates, "He says he fixed it himself many years ago."
Other mistake: When Cody is learning how to talk to girls and the hologram girl is used. She tells him to "Come here." She pulls on his chin to bring him closer. You can see his skin move and his head is pulled. Holograms can not touch or grab things.
Other mistake: Daniel was number six that she dated and treated as a boyfriend before Peter, so In reality Peter was number seven.
Other mistake: During the shootout scene, Kevin Costner is firing a single revolver while advancing across a street. He fires at least 10 shots from a six shot revolver without reloading. In just the part of the sequence where he fires multiple shots in rapid sequence into a single guy he fires 7 shots.
Other mistake: The same cockpit interior mock-up used for the propeller plane (Sierra) near the beginning of the movie is seen again as the Airbus jet at the very end.
Other mistake: When Andie goes over to the diamond display (at the party) she isn't wearing any jewelry, and touches her ears a couple of times, demonstrating there's nothing on them. Later on she is seen wearing 'Isadorra' (the yellow diamond necklace) and a pair of matching earrings, which are certainly large and sparkly enough that they would have been visible if she was wearing them earlier. When security chases after Andie after she leaves, they only take back the necklace. I guess that the diamond earrings weren't that important. (01:39:30)
