Character mistake: Shaft meets Junior for the first time and mocks him with the offer of bubbly water. Junior says "And as for that wedge of lime, it makes it alkaline, so..." It wouldn't, since lime juice is rather acidic. (00:23:10)
Character mistake: Tony, as a cop, should've known to cuff Rose's hands behind her back. He also apparently doesn't cuff Harriet properly as she's left outside with them dangling from one wrist.
Character mistake: When Ramathorn and Farva pullover the Plymouth Voyager, Ramathorn radios in and says they have a Plymouth Voyager, Vermont plates Alpha, God, Mustard, 1, niner, decade, china. When Farva gets out of the car to call the driver a chicken f**ker, you can see the licence plate, Vermont plate '1 9415'. Ramathorn radioed in the wrong licence plate number.
Character mistake: Just after the shootout between the robbers and the armored truck drivers at the dip in the road, the teacher that is with the robbers pumps the shotgun about 3 times, without firing a shot after they crossed the water. This would just waste a perfectly good cartridge, since they hadn't been shot yet.
Character mistake: The new sheriff ("Alice") told Rayburn that she has only been sheriff for a couple months and was still catching up on active cases. Rayburn replied, "Yeah, my daughter's case is far from active." The sheriff then told Rayburn, "My training is very different from the officers around here" - meaning college-educated (Ivy League?), more professional, more effective, and modern. Despite this, some of the sheriff's actions (e.g, walking unannounced into suspects' houses and/or without a proper warrant; questionable "probable cause"; shooting Rayburn to protect her brother) fell far short of the ideal. Perhaps most significantly, the sheriff gave Rayburn a warning shot and told him not to kill Dr. Boone... then she stood back and merely watched Rayburn push Dr. Boone into the pitfall and close the doors while knowing the doctor was severely injured and dying. Character mistake: In the beginning of the movie, Simon Broome and Xola speak in English and Xola acts as the only speaker of Ku. He confirms to Simon that the three young boys are Ku but if Simon grew up as a Matoban like Silvie, he would have been fluent in Ku as well.
Character mistake: When the platoon is walking to the village the next morning after the firefight in the jungle the previous night Brownie is shown walking with no sleeves on his fatigues then later on right before he's shot and killed by the VC he's shown with sleeves on but rolled up when talking to Ericsson near the farmer in the rice paddy.
Character mistake: The bad guys at the beginning of the movie launch a drone that scans for target. The woman's data appears in the HUD and it says "Stacey Canon - Interpol REGISRTY" (00:02:20)
Character mistake: When Zeke is investigating the pickup with the spiral painted on it, and the pig falls out, he goes to grab the box left by the copycat, and it is with his bare hands. In the next shot, it shows that he used a folded glove to pick it up. (00:39:30)
Character mistake: In the chicken restaurant, after Jump gives the kids change to play the games he ask the cashier how much is the food and the cashier says $57.70. After Jump again asks how much, the cashier then says $57.90.
Character mistake: When McQuade goes to visit Senor Falcone at the racetrack, they meet face to face pointing guns at each other. If you look closely, you see McQuade accidentally discharging his revolver (the hammer strikes) as he puts it down by his side.
Character mistake: Although Henry borrowed two books on crime scene investigation from the used book store, he obviously did not learn enough, especially about forensic science. For example, shooting from the tree house could be determined by the location/slant of the bullet in Glenn's head/body, and cutting off tree branches that would obstruct the line of fire could be evidence of pre-meditation. Henry may have thought he planned the perfect murder, but it was far from that. (00:30:30)
Character mistake: The newspaper states Frank's son as being 10 years old. But according to the headstone dates, he died at age 8.
Character mistake: When Simon Dermott, a world-renowned museum security expert, steals the fake Cellini statue from the pedestal, he replaces it with a wine bottle, carelessly leaving his fingerprints all over the glass.
Character mistake: When Raphael is chasing Casey Jones after their fight he vaults over a taxi hood, never takes his eyes off Casey, but he somehow loses him.
Suggested correction: 2 things are happening; a shell backed stocky Raphael is chasing a lighter human athlete Casey. Casey has freedom of movement, whereas Raphael can't stray much from the shadows in hiding. :-) A knocked out Casey wouldn't be helping the Turtles out of the next evening with that memorable entry so I'm glad Raph lost the chase.
Character mistake: Thomas rips off his one glove as he makes his escape but then grips the bottom edge of the security door to slide under it. Smooth metal door would leave perfect finger and palm prints. I doubt detectives would miss prints on a door that was normally recessed away from the public. His prints may not be on file but would be easy to obtain once he was under suspicion. (00:19:20)

Character mistake: Casanova refers to Cross's gun as a "Glock," but it is a Sig.
Character mistake: Theresa Russell identifies the rare coin as "Felice Baciocchi and her sister Elisa." Aside from the mispronunciation, Felice Baciocchi is a man.
Character mistake: When Jerry and Scotty are talking in Scotty's bedroom, after his Mom's kidnapping, there is a poster behind Scotty's door. The poster says "Accordian King" but should have been spelled, "Accordion King."
