Trivia: This was the last Disney movie to include "A Walt Disney Production" at the end, as well as the first movie to be completed after Disney's death in 1966.
Trivia: When the narrator asks George what happened to the original George, George states that the studio was too cheap to re-hire Brendan Fraser. The studio did want to bring back Brendan Fraser for the sequel, but he turned down the role.
Trivia: Sonic makes a brief joke about the feud between the actors Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson, who both appeared in the "Fast and Furious" movie franchise. This film is from the same producers as that franchise.

Trivia: In the video that Halliday left behind after his death, you see floral arrangements around his coffin that are in the shape of the Star Trek's Federation symbol and one of the Enterprise. But the really cool thing is his coffin is actually a photon torpedo, exactly like Spock was put in after his death at the end of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Trivia: After 13 years and 26 films, this is the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to receive a "rotten" rating from Rotten Tomatoes upon release. This is somewhat ironic given that there were reports that Marvel considered it the best film they had made yet, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige felt it could be a nominee for Best Picture at the Oscars, particularly as its director Chloé Zhao had recently won the Best Director Oscar for Nomadland, which also won Best Picture.
Trivia: As the shuttle with Kirk and company approaches the Enterprise in Space dock, Sulu says "I'm delighted. Any chance to go aboard the Enterprise..." According to IMSDb.com, there was a full dialog between Kirk and Sulu in the original script. The rest of Sulu's line was "however briefly, is always a chance for nostalgia." Kirk also told Sulu the he had cut the orders for Sulu to Captain the Excelsior.
Trivia: The pre-credits sequence is 14 minutes long, making it the longest in the history of the series. The original intro was simply Bond's escape from the meeting, rappelling down to the ground, but audiences were underwhelmed by that leading straight into the credits. As such the boat chase was included too, leading to the long intro. It was eventually surpassed by No Time to Die in 2021.
Trivia: This is Pierce Brosnan's least favourite Bond movie of the four in which he appeared. Brosnan disliked the over-the-top special effects and gadgets, and suggested to the producers that the follow-up should be dark and gritty. After Brosnan left, the series was indeed given a grittier reboot.
Trivia: In the scene where Ripcord and Duke are in the transport and Ripcord pats Heavy Duty on the back and gets his arm twisted as a result, Ripcord makes a crack about Heavy Duty having a "Kung Fu Grip". This refers to some of the earliest G.I. Joe's action figures who were advertised to have the Kung Fu Grip.

Trivia: Production was shut down for a year, to give Tom Hanks enough time to lose weight and grow out his "castaway" beard. During that time, director Robert Zemeckis used the same crew members to help film "What Lies Beneath."
