Trivia: Just before Hannibal, Face and BA break Murdoch out of the hospital by driving the hummer through the wall, watch the credits rolling on the screen of the movie they are watching. Reginald Barclay is the character that Dwight Schultz (the original Murdoch) played on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the 2nd name ends with "StarBuck", the character played by Dirk Benedict (the original Face man) on Battlestar Galactica. We also see "Thomas", with the surname obscured - likely "Thomas Banachek", a character played by George Peppard, the original Hannibal.

Trivia: The pre-credits sequence is 14 minutes long, making it the longest in the history of the series. Trivia: The studio and producer Joel Silver reportedly called for major re-writes of the script shortly before shooting began. Many of the actors had signed up based on the original script, titled "Chimera", which contained far less violence and supernatural elements, and instead was a psychological drama about what happens to a salvage crew when they are stranded in the middle of the ocean. Much of the cast wasn't informed that the script had been almost completely altered into a more generic supernatural-horror/slasher film until just before they showed up to begin filming, leaving many of them disheartened and disgruntled.
Trivia: Although there were some plans for a potential fifth film, "The Crow: Wicked Prayer" ended up being the fourth and final entry in the original film franchise. A theatrical reboot of the series has been announced.
