Answer: You never know whether The Emperor is telling the truth or not, but either way what he's trying to convey to Vader here is that he's starting to get the tiniest bit of doubt over whether Vader has truly purged all compassion towards his son, and if not he'd better nip that in the bud, pronto.
Question: Does anyone know where the Easter egg is on any of the series 10 DVDs?
Chosen answer: On the last DVD of series 10 go into special features. Press the right directional button and a coffee mug will appear press OK. There is footage of members of the public singing "Smelly Cat" and quoting lines from the show.
Question: Whereabouts is the Stargate film poster in this film? Apparently it's on the side of a bus, but I'm not sure where.
Answer: It's actually not in the film, the shot was edited out. In that shot the poster was on a billboard which a bus went through.
Question: Whatever happened to Johnny Knoxville's two characters, Scrad/Charlie? I don't recall him meeting his demise in any scenes. He simply disappears halfway through the fight at Jeebs' shop and never shows up again.
Answer: The worms tell J that some guy with 2 heads kidnapped Laura, so obviously it was Johnny Knoxville's character. He probably waited for further orders from Serleena after completing this task, but they never came.
Question: Can anyone tell me the name of the artist who sings a jazz version of 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' played when Tom Hanks finishes talking on the radio for the first time? And where can I buy this version of the song?
Answer: Ray Charles is the singer who performs this version of "Somewhere over the Rainbow" - this is not on the original movie soundtrack, but you may be able to find a Ray Charles album where this song is included.
I found an album by Ray Charles "Genius Loves Company By Ray Charles, Ray Charles And the Count Basie Orchestra" where "Over the Rainbow" is one of the songs, but it's not the same rendition as in the movie "Sleepless in Seattle." I can't fine the movie version anywhere.
Try the Ray Charles album "Genius Loves Company." It's a collections of duets and he sings "Over the Rainbow" with Johnny Mathis. It was supposedly recorded sometime between 2003 and 2004, but his lines sounds like what's in the film. So I don't know if it's just him reprising an older version he did that was used in the film, or if it's the older version with Mathis' lines mixed in. I couldn't find anything earlier.
Question: On the DVD (UK, not sure about anywhere else) there is a feature called 'the secret of esrever', which tells you to look for very subliminal hidden images in the film - I have looked so many times and there is still one I can't find - does anyone know where the 'water' one is? The only thing I can see is what looks like an owl's head made out of the trees in the scene where the woman is drowning a baby in the lake. If this is it how does it relate to the film? Also is there a message in the images? There are a few words but I can't make a sentence out of them.
Answer: In the scene where the baby is submerged in the water, watch the lower right-hand side of the screen. You'll see the shadow of a stickman emerge and come higher into the frame.
Question: During the song "The World Will Know," Jack climbs up onto the balcony of the World building to write the word "Strike" on the headline chalkboards. As he's climbing, between lines of the song, you can hear him yelling. All I can hear of the first line is "Pulitzer." I'm pretty sure the second line is "You think you own the world." Anybody know what he's saying there?

Question: Is there any explanation in the book as to why the Phantom is deformed? I've heard something about acid, but I don't know if that's correct.
Answer: Although there are myths and rumours as to the origins of the Phantom's deformity (acid, fires, etc.), it is simply a birth defect. In the novel, the birth defect covered his whole face. The idea of the distortion covering half his face for the musical originated from photographs of World War II soldiers covering half of their badly injured faces. For the film version, makeup artist Jenny Shircore based the Phantom's disfigurement on a medical condition she had seen.
The half face design was actually created to better allow for singing, as a full face mask wouldn't be suitable.
Question: Does anyone know what the two main instruments are at the beginning the track called 'Hagrid the Professor' on the soundtrack?
Answer: An oboe and then a flute.
Question: After carefully reading all the mistakes and corrections written here, there's still something that bothers me: The Morgans lived on an island and yet Samara was killed in the shelter inn. So far so good. The question is: how did The Morgans find a lid for the well during this vacation (since the lid was nowhere to be seen during the shoving scene) and if so, how can they cover up a well in somebody else's property, and after solving that, there still remains a question of how come nobody noticed the little girl was missing (the inn keeper, the other people on vacation etc.) and how come a cabin was built around the well so conveniently. All the explanations don't fit. Something's still missing.
Answer: There's no reason to believe the inn was there before they dumped her in the well. In fact, all shots of the well at the time show no cabins or buildings anywhere. Most likely the inn was built on top of the area, probably even by the Morgans, in order to cover up the fact that they'd dumped a little girl in that well. Also, most of the people on the island, such as Samara and Anna's doctor, believed Samara was still staying at Eola County Psychiatric Hospital on the mainland. The doctor told Rachel that ever since Samara left, everything was better, so its likely the residents didn't care or give much thought to where she was, just relieved that she was finally gone and life on the island improved.
Answer: It is never explained if Shelter Mountain Inn already existed by the time Samara was thrown into the well. However, there are some clues that seem to indicate that it was a place the Morgans frequently visited. First, the tree that overlooks the cabins was significant for Samara so much that she burned its image: during her stay at the psych ward, at the barn under the wallpaper, and much later it was included on the tape. So, everything seems to point to the Morgans visiting the Inn several times. Also, when Richard Morgan asks Rachel where she had found the tape, she replies: Shelter Mountain Inn and he seemed to recognize the place right away (he knows that whatever Anna did to Samara happened there), so this could mean that it already existed but most likely there weren't many cabins yet. Years later, the owner must have built more cabins including the one over the well.
Question: Was the dog the host of the virus?
Answer: Yes the hermit's dog in the beginning was not Grim's dog. If you watch the scene you will see him go over to his sick dog and blood sprays him in the face.
Answer: No, the virus was already there before Grim and Dr. Mambo (the killer dog) get there. The townspeople seem to have known about it for quite some time.
Question: Can anyone remember which of the brothers had "Veritas" tattooed on his hand? It was either the Sean Patrick character or the Norman character, one had veritas and the other libertas, but which was which?
Answer: Sean Patrick Flanery was the one who had veritas tattoed on his index. He's the one playing Connor. The other tattoo is not Libertas but Acquitas.
Question: How do they do those "toasted" effects with the walls?

Question: What happened to all the animals that McLeach was keeping prisoner?
Answer: Cody most likely told the authorities and had them freed.
Question: Why does Berger tell Sheila and her friend, that he needs $250 to bail his friends out? The bail was $50/person an there's only 4 of them in jail.
Answer: He wanted to give Claude his $50 back.
Question: In the trivia it says that the name Leatherface is only said once or twice. Well, I can't recall the name being used at all. What scenes were the name used?
Answer: The name "Leatherface" is used in the scene set in the hotel, and the waterfall scene. The grandmother says "leatherface" right after she says "Maryana, crank up the chain saw" in the waterfall scene. She actually says it in a whispering tone, so you have to turn the volume up to the max.
I think you're referring to either a remake or sequel. In this film (the original made in 1974), there is no living grandmother that speaks, scene set at a hotel, character named Maryana, or a waterfall scene.
Answer: At the dinner table scene when the hitchhiker is arguing with the old man, he says "me and Leatherface do all the work." There's a lot of shouting going on so it's easy to miss.
Question: The theme of Greeks comes up a few times in the film. First in Edna's house, on the wall behind the door is a giant Greek mural and the statue outside is a stylised Greek soldier. Next, the password, Kronos, is the Greek Titan of time. Then later at the end of the film, there is a close up of a sign reading 'The Spartans' with a hoplite helmet. Is this just coincidence?
Answer: Possibly, but it's probably because the first known "superheroes" came from Greece. Achilles, Hercules etc.
Question: How come they cut an entire verse from the song "the Phantom of the Opera"?
Answer: You'll have to ask Joel Schumacher on that one but basically it's just a matter of making the movie work. There were a number of changes when the musical was adapted to the screen. For example, the falling chandelier occurred just before the end of Act 1 in the musical, but was left until the end in the movie.
Answer: Emy Rossum had difficulty hitting the E6 at the end of the original song. By removing the final verse, they avoided a key change, which enabled Emmy to sing the final note as a C6, instead. It was mainly just a matter of making the song suitable for the cast to sing.
Answer: Incorrect. Beginning in the late 90's it was kinda just the thing to do. Current stage versions also cut out that verse.
Question: Was this film based on an true story, or was it fiction based on the true warring states as the backdrop?
Answer: It was a fiction based on the true historical period as backdrop, althought it sorted of resembled a true event that the deserter general of Qin gave his head to an assassin as a pass to get close to the Emperor, who was then still a king of a state among the warring states.
Question: I heard a rumour that in one scene on Naboo, (I think it was something with a balcony, but I haven't seen this movie in a while) someone accidentally left a Dr. Pepper in the shot. I'm pretty sure this has been disproved, but is it really there?
Answer: Put simply, no.

Chosen answer: The Emperor did sense Luke. He just didn't tell Vader that, because he was planning on replacing Vader with Luke (kind of like replacing an old sedan with a new sportscar) and double crossing Vader.
