The writing then reappears and the back of the wrapper is white. Tintin then shades the paper with a pencil and notices the wrapper says Karaboudjan. In the next shot, all the pencil shade has disappeared. (00:05:10)

Continuity mistake: After Daws has been killed, the Crabe Extra tin is in a box with lots of other stuff. There is also a coat hanger at the back of the box. However, when Snowy dives into the box the next day, the coat hanger is no longer there. (00:02:30)

Continuity mistake: When the pirates are partying, one of them throws a wine bottle towards the tied up Francis Haddock. One of his hands is shown tied and wrapped in ropes. The shot then switches to a close-up of his hand, which is now wrapped around the ropes tying his body to the mast, and not the other ropes shown a second ago. (00:17:10)

Continuity mistake: Tintin, Haddock and Snowy are walking down the street and Haddock says he's going to be rich and tosses his hat in the air. There is a lamppost right next to Tintin. A man then opens his window, telling Haddock to keep the noise down and Tintin is suddenly standing about a foot away from the post. (00:26:20)

Continuity mistake: After Tintin runs into the storage room, he barricades the door with several crates and Allan and the three bad guys are shown trying to get in by pulling on the door handle. At the end of the shot, the door handle is pointing upwards, but in the shot of Allan and three bad guys, the other end of the door handle is completely straight. (00:14:30)

Continuity mistake: The Italian driver's car has a number plate on the left front of his car. In the shot where he drives through the bushes, no numbers are seen on the plate. (00:30:15)
The Black Island: Part 2 - S1-E11
Continuity mistake: After Mueller is untied, he opens his drawer and takes out a gun that is blue. Shot cuts and he then cocks a gun that is now grey. (00:41:20)
Chosen answer: If Hector was seriously intent on removing King Ottokar's scepter from the glass cage holding it and launching it through the window with the camera, then Hector would have been forced to knock out the two guards so they would not have interfered with Hector's plan as soon as he removed the scepter from the glass. As for Hector, himself, was explained when Tintin was explaining how Hector stole the scepter. Tintin placed a twig inside the camera and it launched out of the camera. Hector would have placed the scepter inside of the camera, and would have been knocked unconscious due to the spring effect created when the scepter had been launched.
