Tintin and the Picaros: Part 1 - S2-E8
Character mistake: When the bell on Haddock's clock rings, there is a shot showing the clock with the time on 8:00. All of the numbers used to represent the time shown on the clock are written in roman numerals, however, the roman numeral for the 8 shown on the clock is written out as VI. Eight in roman numerals should be VIII. (00:01:45)
Tintin and the Picaros: Part 1 - S2-E8
Other mistake: After Manolo has told Haddock that the windows don't open, Manolo goes to leave and slips on a banana placed in the doorway. The banana's position in the doorway would not be possible. The banana landed on the floor after Haddock fell over the table in the hotel room and spilled the contents of the fruit bowl all of the room and then Manolo entered the room a second later. When Manolo opened the door, he would have pushed anything in front of the door out of the way. (00:10:25)
Tintin and the Picaros: Part 1 - S2-E8
Continuity mistake: Whilst Tintin and Haddock are discussing how to escape the hotel, a record player is playing so no-one who is watching the conversation can hear them. When Pablo arrives with the drinks and sets them on the table, the record player is visible in the background and not moving, though the music is still heard. Pablo then goes to turn up the music, and the record player is suddenly moving again. (00:12:40)
Tintin and the Picaros: Part 2 - S2-E9
Revealing mistake: When Haddock walks in view of the helicopter pilot, it cuts to an interior shot of the helicopter where the pilot says "What's that? A Picaro by the river?" A couple of shots after this, there is another interior shot of the helicopter where the pilot then says "Caramba. He's disappeared." In both of the two interior shots, it is noticeable that the same footage has been used in both the shots as the exact same land is outside the helicopter is in both of the shots. The only difference in the second shot is that Haddock has been removed. (00:26:20)
Tintin and the Picaros: Part 2 - S2-E9
Other mistake: When Haddock is in the lake, he is sinking, struggling to stay above the water and the water is even going up to his neck area. Tintin then goes into the lake to fetch Haddock and then stands in the exact same area where Haddock is up to his neck in the water, but the water only goes as far as Tintin's knees. (00:26:40)
Tintin and the Picaros: Part 2 - S2-E9
Audio problem: The drunk camp members are firing their guns and the gun shots are heard. Smoke is exiting some of the guns, implying that that particular gun has been fired, but no sound effect is heard going with along with that particular gunshot. (00:27:00)
Tintin and the Picaros: Part 2 - S2-E9
Continuity mistake: General Alcazar fires his gun at the camp member's bottle, destroying it. He fires straight forward, but when the bullet hits the bottle, the bullet is being fired at a vertical angle. (00:27:10)
Land of Black Gold: Part 1 - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: When Tintin is speaking with the Speedol exec, there is a chart on the wall behind the exec. The last marked point is first located around a centimetre away from the nearest line on the chart. Two shots after this, the point is directly on the line on the chart. A further two shots after, the last marked point is suddenly back to where it was. (00:02:05)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: Calculus walks into the apartment to talk with Tintin and Haddock. When he starts talking, his back is straight and sitting upwards. The shot cuts and he is suddenly sitting slightly forwards with his head also pointing forwards. Then in the following shot after that, he is suddenly sitting with his back straight and is sitting upwards again. (00:05:05)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Other mistake: Professor Calculus brings the parts for two shark submarines (he stated in the scene prior he would bring two) to the docks in two separate crates. The crates he uses to hold the submarine parts in would not big enough to hold the entirety of the submarine. The crates shown are only a couple of feet wide and even smaller in height, but the shark submarines shown in the episode are much larger than the overall size of the crate. (00:06:50)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: When Calculus arrives at the docks to demonstrate the shark submarines, there are images of the submarines shown on each crate. There is no crease shown on the image on the top crate and there is a crease on the image on the bottom crate. A couple of seconds later, Haddock draws an X on the image shown on the top crate and the image shown on the top crate now suddenly has a crease on it. (00:06:50)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: When Tintin and Haddock discover Calculus had been sleeping in one of the lifeboats, he wakes up and tells him he slept rather badly last night. Tintin and Haddock are standing beside each other, with Tintin partially behind Haddock. In the following shot where Haddock replies, Tintin has vanished from beside Haddock. (00:09:45)
Red Rackham's Treasure - S1-E5
Continuity mistake: Whilst Tintin, Haddock and the detectives are on their way back from Francis Haddock's island in the boat, there is a Sirius logo on the front of it. When the "shark" arrives later in the scene, there is a shot where Haddock says "Ten thousand thundering typhoons" and the Sirius logo has vanished. (00:12:15 - 00:12:50)
Land of Black Gold: Part 1 - S2-E10
Revealing mistake: When Tintin is at the docks, waiting for something to happen, he sees a man walk from the fog into view. The man is transparent and you can see right through him. (00:03:05)
Land of Black Gold: Part 1 - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: Whilst Tintin is waiting at the docks, he is behind a train with a sign on it. Later on in the scene, when Tintin is wondering how he should get on the Speedol Star, the sign has gotten much smaller. (00:03:00 - 00:03:40)
Land of Black Gold: Part 1 - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: When Tintin catches the bag with Snowy in, he holds it in his lap between his legs. Two shots after this, his right leg has changed position and is suddenly stretched out. (00:07:10)
Land of Black Gold: Part 1 - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: Bab El Ehr and his men untie Tintin after he passes out and leave him. As they are riding away, the rope he was tied with is beside him. In the next shot, the rope is positioned differently. (00:11:10)
Land of Black Gold: Part 1 - S2-E10
Continuity mistake: After Mueller leaves his horse, Tintin follows behind him to spy on him and stops hiding behind a rock. From one angle, he stops, pointing his gun forwards. The shot cuts and suddenly the gun is pointing upwards. (00:13:40)
Chosen answer: It is a pill that makes alcohol taste disgusting.
