Higgins opens the door and before it cuts to the new scene, you can peek through the door and see that the lights are switched off; Higgins is walking into an empty room (would be fun if it were the broom closet, but it's actually the correct photoset, just with nobody there). Revealing mistake: The construction workers in the bar believe Magnum's bluff about being an inspector, and make a run for it trampling him. Tom Selleck's stuntman is the one taking the risk of having a mob of big guys stomp him - and you can actually spot a fake moustache dangling loose during the action. (00:18:30)
