One More Summer - S2-E16

Continuity mistake: When the title of the episode appears in the credits, there are 4 girls passing in front of the pool bar. One of them is very recognisable for her circlet in her hair, sporting purple and gold bikini and a ripped physique. That same girl, with or without the others, passes in front of the same bar several other times (at least 3) during the scene. (00:01:35)

One More Summer - S2-E16

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene the position of the girl in the inflatable chair is not coherent in the various views. In the establishing shot of the pool, she is in the corner of the part opposite the house, but then she is in a diagonally opposite spot, and later when Morita is clearing his throat to give his speech she has two different guys (not too far apart from each other but still in distinct position) by her feet. Continuity mistake: After his speech, the guys toss Jack Metro (Pat Morita) in the pool. Mrs. Eleanor Greeley is present in the faraway shot, and she has her shades in her right hand, but it cuts to a close-up of her going through her sexy chewing schtick holding them in her left hand. (00:02:50)

Continuity mistake: Pat Morita gets dunked in the pool (twice) and he is dripping wet, you can even see his black underwear through the shorts when he gets pulled up from it. Still, a couple of shots later he's nice and dry poolside with the exact same clothes and hat. (00:03:05)

Continuity mistake: Mrs. Greeley turns around and watches Dorsey Bramlett on the hammock with a girl. He is gripping the net with his hand around the middle, but in the next shot and rest of the scene he is clinging to the top. (00:03:15)

Continuity mistake: When Coach Bell is talking to Dorsey's substitute and his wife at the party, the couple is in a different position in the two different camera angles mainly used; she casts a shadow on him in a different spot, with sunlight on his arms when the camera is over Bill Edwards' shoulder, and not in the other angle. Continuity mistake: The coach is talking to the number two QB, saying he's worried about the star. "I am too, sir", he replies. A blonde with a black swimsuit walks past him, but 5 seconds later she's doing the same. (00:04:20)

One More Summer - S2-E16

Continuity mistake: Magnum and his two friends are watching the team practice. In the establishing shot they are fully in the sun, and the whole section of the stadium does not have a bit of shade. Next time they are displayed, the direct sunlight is gone. (00:06:20)

Visible crew/equipment: While Magnum is in the training room with Dorsey they talk about Eleanor Greeley, and when Magnum mentions that she carried Dorsey for two years after his surgery, in some of the following shots an actor's white T-mark is visible on the floor beside the bench. (00:09:30)

One More Summer - S2-E16

Other mistake: Mrs. Greeley mentions the sandal king's wife putting the hooks on the quarterback "yesterday at the party." That would mean that every previous event - Magnum showing up to the first day of practice, going back to the estate where Higgins annoys him, being 'hired' to practise with the team - all happens in a day. TC actually mentions the practice "the other day" which contradicts it explicitly, but even without that, all of it is patently absurd - including TC showing up independently from him. Continuity mistake: In the hot tub scene, Mrs. Greeley blackmails Dorsey in return for favours; during the conversation, David Wilson's mouth position/facial expressions transition from shot to shot with a spotty continuity all the way through. (00:25:00)

Visible crew/equipment: Higgins is walking the lads through the now oh so empty estate; when the camera pans all the way back, to the right of the frame you can see there is in fact someone else in there; it is the animal trainer who gives instructions to the dobermanns. (00:26:50)

Other mistake: Someone shoots in the dark at the trio in front of the sandal king's house. Former Navy Seal Magnum must have read the script and know that the assailant was only gonna shoot once, because he jumps up from his sitting position and just stands there looking pensive at the bushes like a complete fool, taking no cover, nor trying to protect his client while the wife is dead. Continuity mistake: The security guard spots the obsessive fan running through the seats. He shouts at him, and in the next shot the guy is running a couple rows lower than he was in the first shot. (00:37:45)

Character mistake: Higgins' anecdote inflicted on Rick says that In Kwangju. In '49, Corky Boswick got kicked in the head during "Sunday of the Queen's birthday party", but at the time, George VI was still King, and would be until February of 1952. (00:42:25)

Of Sound Mind - S3-E12

Higgins: How fiendishly deceptive of you, Magnum. I could have sworn I was hearing the emasculation of a large rodent. To my great surprise, I see the sounds are emanating from what I thought was a harmless musical instrument.
Magnum: Cute Higgins, real cute.
Higgins: Why Magnum? Why do this terrible thing?
Magnum: Higgins, I'll have you know I used to be very good. I was the second best sax player in my High School band!
Higgins: Well, how many sax players were there?!
Magnum: ...Anyway. I just saw this in a pawn shop window and thought I'd like to try and get my chops back.
Higgins: May I suggest that your "chops" are irretrievable.
Magnum: Higgins, did you come here just to abuse me!?
