Other mistake: As LeBeau is being interrogated, on the barometer behind Schultz you can make out the word "fair." What is a barometer labeled in English doing in a German counter-intelligence headquarters?
Other mistake: Carter said the plans and note were in the box that was supposed to contain a model of the Hindenburg. However, the box he's building out of has "STUKA" on the side.
Other mistake: In the tunnel where the prisoners are storing ammunition. Col Hogan tells his men the next one that lights a cigarette gets a court martial. The tunnel is lit by open flames. (00:06:00)
Happy Birthday, Dear Hogan - S4-E26
Other mistake: Hogan returns to camp after meeting with the underground, after learning the Germans are setting a trap. Kinch went down in the tunnel to Radio London just before Hogan returned. Hogan asked the men, "Where's Kinch?" and he shouldn't send any messages. Since Kinch was in the tunnel, Hogan should have seen or heard Kinch in the tunnel using the radio. (00:07:50 - 00:10:45)
Other mistake: In the movie, as the jeep comes up to Byron Buckles' plane, the jeep rolls through previous tracks from previous takes.
Other mistake: As Buckles holds up the scale model of the Bismarck, the diagonal cut where it's supposed to "break" is visible.
Other mistake: When the Heroes are outside talking, the camera focuses on Col. Hogan. Over his right shoulder you can see a hill with a baseball field's home plate fencing on top.
Other mistake: As Schultz goes to stick a pin in the map, he supposedly hits his finger. But if you look closely, he actually stuck it in the map at the very tip of his finger. This is clear because he didn't move the pin at all.
Other mistake: As Schultz tries to find Flensheim on the wall map, what he's checking isn't a road map, but a city plan with a harbor on it.
Other mistake: Hogan is disarming a booby trap briefcase. The bomb expert tells him over the radio he has to decide to turn the handle clockwise or counterclockwise. The expert doesn't know which way to turn it. Hogan turns the handle counterclockwise and disarms the booby trap, and the expert says counterclockwise. There's no way the expert would have known which way Hogan turned the handle. (00:21:50 - 00:22:26)
Other mistake: As the boys are unloading the truck, one of the cases is WEIN (wine) , and marked with a 'Z' in the corner. In Season 4 Episode 22 "The Purchasing Plan", the boxes marked "Z" were boxes containing nitro glycerin for the underground.
Other mistake: Usually, the picture at the podium has the microphone "bug" for Hogan, and it's blatantly obvious, except to the Germans. This time, there is no bug, but an extra picture that the boys can take the eyes out of and listen in.
Other mistake: The men are usually all wearing boots. When Carter goes up the ladder, it's clear that he has high-top sneakers on.
Other mistake: As Hogan and Kinchloe sit on the bunk to keep the trap door from opening, the secret switch to activate it is visible.
Other mistake: When the boys are working on the "jigsaw" map, Klink and the guard come in. There is a gust of wind from their entrance. Trouble is, the gust that blows the pieces comes from behind LeBeau, blowing the pieces toward Newkirk's bunk, rather than toward the camera.
Other mistake: As Schultz talks to Burkhalter, it sounds like he says Captain.
Other mistake: The place the car ends up on the porch is where the wooden steps would have been. But there is no debris from the destroyed steps, meaning they were removed for the gag.
Other mistake: As the camera looks at the now-crashed car, the position and condition it is in is impossible. Though funny, there is no way the car could have jumped up on the porch as shown. The front would have been crushed in, the wood of the porch damaged. The interiors of the doors are impossible given that the car would have been kept in an immaculate condition.
Other mistake: When Carter goes to switch the full cup for the empty one, he accidentally sloshes water on Newkirk's hand and the fan of cards in it. When Carter goes to move the cups, look at Newkirk's hand. The cup exchange happens in front of the hand. The hand is out of range of the water.
Other mistake: In the end of the episode, after LeBeau said "Hit the deck!", the camera looks to the half-track. According to the plan, there was to be a nitro charge inside it to blow it up. Watch the tarp toward the front. It twitches upward in response to a small explosion on the ground, rather than inside. The sound effects complete the illusion.
