The Waltons

The Parting - S7-E15

Visible crew/equipment: After Elizabeth shares with Olivia some details of learning to cook with Esther, Olivia tells her daughter that she has come down from her treehouse (a poignant compliment). In the next shot, when John drives up to the home, crew reflections are visible on the vehicle's windows. (00:08:55)

The Parting - S7-E15

Visible crew/equipment: After Olivia lays down on the beach while John continues to fish, when it cuts to Ike and Corabeth on the motorcycle and sidecar, a director's chair (beside the normal Walton lawn chair) is visible at the left side of the screen, just as they turn toward the home. The Attack - S7-E18

Visible crew/equipment: Despite Elizabeth's objections Jim-Bob sells old Blue to Clarence, and in the next shot as Erin and Jason walk to the vehicle, the moving boom mic is reflected on the chrome surface. Then as Jason drives away, the reflection of location lighting is visible on the vehicle's rear window. (00:09:55)

The Torch - S7-E21

Visible crew/equipment: After Callie compliments Elizabeth and leaves the store, Corabeth asks, "Who is that female," and when Ike answers the question he walks around to the back of the counter, and the shadow of the boom mic is visible on the mail room wall, at the right side of the screen. The Rumor - S6-E14

Visible crew/equipment: At the mill, when John tells Buck that Willie Brimmer might be at the Montgomery cabin with Jim-Bob, in the next closeup of John we see a billowy trail of cigarette smoke at the bottom right corner of the screen, but the only people standing there are Elizabeth, John, and Buck, and none are smoking. Presumably, it was someone offscreen smoking too close to the camera (similar to a mistake in 1978's "Halloween"). (00:26:05)

John Walton: I hate this draft job, Liv. I can't stand playing God to my neighbors' sons.

The Unthinkable - S8-E15

Trivia: While John is reading the newspaper funnies to John Curtis, we hear Erin and Mary Ellen come home, so John puts the folded newspaper down on the couch. And as the newspaper lies on the couch, we can see the large white adhesive label with typewritten sentences adhered to the center of the funnies page. Presumably, these are the actor's lines as he was reading quite animatedly to the toddler (sweet moment). (00:06:25)
