This over-sized Golden book is Richard Scarry's "Best Mother Goose Ever," and at its earliest it was published in 1970 with Scarry's illustrations of "Three Little Kittens" on the cover, and "Jack Be Nimble" on the back cover. Visible crew/equipment: After Ike goes off to help Jim-Bob and Jason with the antenna cable, just at the moment it cuts to John-Boy on the porch, at the start of the shot, on the right side of the screen we can see the shadow of someone's arm motioning to the young actor who is playing John Curtis, so he can open the screen door to step onto the porch at the correct time. Character mistake: When John-Boy reads the nursery rhyme "Simple Simon" to his nephew, John-Boy points to the colorful illustrations in this book and tells John Curtis, "See, that's Simple Simon, he's a bear."
