Continuity mistake: When Gyrich's face is first seen as he is talking to Jubilee, you can see a wall to his right. A few shots later, you can see a Sentinel is standing to his right, and there is not a wall anywhere near him. (00:04:27)

Character mistake: When Beast is uploading the virus to delete all the mutant files from the computer, Storm destroys the monitor with a bolt of lightning and says they have run out of time. Destroying the monitor wouldn't magically erase the files. While she may not know that, Beast definitely would, so at the least, he should have asked her to destroy the computer tower and hard drive as well. (00:06:13)

Continuity mistake: After Cyclops tells Gambit to blow up the fence and Rogue flies into frame, her headband and the patches on her uniform that are all normally black are now red. Continuity mistake: Immediately after Storm, Wolverine, Beast and Morph exit the Mutant Registration Center, Beast and Wolverine are shown to be running alongside Gambit and Cyclops. However, mere moments later, Gambit is shown to be blowing up a security fence so Storm, Wolverine, Beast and Morph can rendezvous with Gambit, Cyclops and Rogue. (00:06:45 - 00:07:20)

Continuity mistake: When the heroes are shown running away from the Mutant Registration Center, right before the Sentinels show up, Beast is right behind Morph. When Morph gets blasted by the Sentinels, Beast is now nowhere near Morph and shown to be running alongside Gambit and Cyclops. (00:09:51)

Other mistake: When the Sentinel throws Wolverine over the trees, you can hear him crash to the ground as soon as his body disappears from view. The ground in the area is flat with no tall hills, so Wolverine would require another second or two after clearing the treeline to crash to the ground. (00:10:24)

Continuity mistake: When Storm shoots a bolt of lightning at a Sentinel after Cyclops tells Wolverine to pull back, the lightning is incorrectly colored red (her lightning boots are otherwise shown to be yellow). (00:11:12)

Continuity mistake: When Storm is flying away with Cyclops in tow, she is holding him by his left arm. A couple of shots later, she is holding him by his right arm. (00:11:25)
Answer: Chris Potter, the original Gambit voice actor, did indeed quit the role in the 4th season. His last episode was The Phalanx Covenant Part 1 so it seems reasonable that Fox would limit the use of the character even though it was recast. It doesn't appear that Potter left the role due to animosity, he stated in an interview that he wished to play Gambit in the first live action X-Men film.
