Grey's Anatomy

Break on Through - S2-E16

Corrected entry: Izzie tells the patient's mother if she doesn't want to be late for her 6:00pm job she needed to leave immediately as it is a 3 hour drive, when it is actually less than half that: 88 miles - 1 hour 20 minutes. There is only one route from Seattle to Chehalis, Interstate 5. The vast majority of the drive has speed limit of 65-70 MPH and at 3:00pm (or earlier) traffic will not be an issue.

Phixius

Correction: Anybody that knows the area realises if you leave at 3 on a weekday, it will take 3 hours to go from Seattle to Chehalis. Google maps estimates anywhere from 2h to 3h 20m at that time of day, longer on a Friday, and she wouldn't want to take a chance on traffic being good, leave at 4, then be over an hour late for work.

Owner of a Lonely Heart - S2-E11

Corrected entry: When Dorie is talking to Meredith after giving birth to the quints, she says "If I'd listened to the doctors, I could have had three healthy girls, instead of four who might not live until tomorrow." She had five baby girls. (00:13:50)

Correction: She's referring to fact that only one of her five babies is healthy and has no life threatening medical conditions.

Band Aid Covers the Bullet Hole - S2-E21

Corrected entry: Derek tells Meredith to do an MRI on the lady that has a fork stuck in her neck. But an MRI-machine is actually a huge magnet; that's why there's absolutely no metal allowed inside of it. Doing an MRI on someone with a fork stuck in her neck is extremely dangerous.

Correction: Not all metal is magnetic so "absolutely no metal allowed" is incorrect. People with metal hardware in their bodies have MRI's all the time. Cutlery is sometimes magnetic but this could be checked with a small magnet first. An MRI would then be the best type of scan for this situation if it was not magnetic.

Deny, Deny, Deny - S2-E4

Corrected entry: In the scene where Preston finally finds Christina alone, he walks into her room that has a door with a rectangular window in it and a white box with stickers above a glove box on the wall next to the door. When Preston starts to tell her what else she could have said by saying, "Plenty. For starters," Christina interrupts him by saying, "Oh, look. It's my mother." We see her mother come into room and shut a solid wood door. There is a picture/print on the wall next to the door. They are all in a different room! When Christina and her mother really start to squabble, Christina says, "Oh, me? I'm unpleasant?" Preston starts backing away to leave and all of the sudden they are now back in the original room, with rectangular window in the door (that is open) and the white box with stickers above the glove box on the wall next to the door.

Sheri Hartman

Correction: It is not a different room. Dr. Preston Burke came through the main door which leads into the hospital hallways, and from Christina's point of view, would be to her left. But the door her Mother comes through, while it is different, it is not meant to be the same door. As we clearly see, her Mother walks in from Christina's right. Therefore her Mother was not entering through the same door as Burke did. Perhaps it was a toilet?

Hamster

The Name of the Game - S2-E23

Corrected entry: Denny and Izzy are playing Scrabble - he puts down a word, announcing "triple word score", but his word's part-way into the board, not touching any corners. All the triple word score squares in Scrabble are on the corners.

Jon Sandys

Correction: There are eight, not four, triple word score boxes on a Scrabble board. There is one in each corner and one at the halfway point on each side. It is one of these that Denny is using.
