Doctor Who

Hide - S7-E11

Continuity mistake: For most of the episode, there is a thunderstorm going on at Caliburn House. However, when the TARDIS is seen dematerializing and rematerializing when the Doctor and Clara go to take pictures of the ghost throughout time, it's dry in the grove where it was parked. The first time is especially noticeable, as moments later we are shown Professor Palmer and Emma looking through a rain-spattered window, commenting on the noise of the TARDIS' engines.

The Bells of Saint John - S7-E8

Continuity mistake: When the Doctor and Clara are sitting at their table on the balcony, talking, the level of Clara's mostly-finished milkshake changes several times, most noticeably when she and the Doctor are arguing over who is going to use her computer to hack the bad guys' systems. (00:31:00)

The Bells of Saint John - S7-E8

Continuity mistake: When the Doctor and Clara, while seated at their table on the balcony, are arguing over who has the better hacking skills while pulling her computer back and forth, in overhead shots their table is somewhere in the middle of the balcony. This contrasts with all other shots, which show their table right next to the railing. (00:31:16)

A Town Called Mercy - S7-E4

Continuity mistake: During the sequence involving Rory and Isaac leaving town with the latter disguised as Kahler-Jex in order to distract the Gunslinger so the Doctor can get back to the TARDIS, parked somewhere outside of Mercy, only to find Jex's ship instead, while Amy and Jex wait back at the sheriff's office, the Sun changes position several times, as do the shadows cast as a result. Most noticeably, when the Doctor finds the cable running from Jex's ship to town, the Sun is quite low, as if close to sunset - while appearing high, as if closer to midday, in the scenes of Rory and Isaac distracting the Gunslinger taking place at the same time. During the scenes of the Doctor finding Jex's ship and Amy and Jex in town, it is also earlier in the day. (00:10:50 - 00:17:17)

The Snowmen - S7-E7

The Power of Three - S7-E5

Continuity mistake: When Rory finds his dad on the spaceship, Brian is lying on a gurney next to the two farthest slabs, which are empty. When Amy and the Doctor come through the portal to the spaceship, Brian's gurney is between the two closest slabs, with Rory lying on the closest one, which previously had a completely different person lying on it. A Town Called Mercy - S7-E4

Continuity mistake: When Amy's holding a revolver while arguing with the Doctor, just before she accidentally fires it a second time, she goes from holding it pointed to her right to holding it pointing to the ground in front of her between shots. (00:23:53)

The Day of the Doctor - S7-E16

Continuity mistake: After the 10th Doctor marries Elizabeth, they kiss. While they are kissing, the collar on his jacket gets turned up, from her point of view. The camera then switches to look at her from over his shoulder, then back, and now the collar is straight. (00:49:40)

The Power of Three - S7-E5

Continuity mistake: When the Doctor is at the Tower of London with Amy and Kate, he claims he needs some air. When Amy follows him she follows him twice, in two different shots. The first time on 'ground view' walking and the second time on 'above view' running. (00:21:20)

Shadow5

The Snowmen - S7-E7

Continuity mistake: As Clara first realises the differences in the TARDIS exterior and interior, she goes to circle the outside, leaving the door open. A second later, it's closed, but open upon her entrance.

Movie Nut

The Day of the Doctor - S7-E16

Continuity mistake: When the three Doctors have all just come up with a plan to stop Gallifrey being destroyed, the War Doctor shouts "Thank you, Bad Wolf Girl!" At this moment, standing in front of "Rose", the Tenth Doctor's hair is spiked up and messy, but then immediately in the next shot, after the Moment has disappeared, when he questions what the War Doctor just said, his hair is flat and neat again. (01:06:25)

Professor Lazarus

Cold War - S7-E10

Continuity mistake: The submarine surfaces among icebergs at the end. Just as the others go back into the submarine, the Doctor stays up there. Some snow goes onto his lip and his hair. In the following shot, we can see he isn't moving. But in the next shot, the snow on his hair and lip isn't there anymore. (00:40:00)

Casual Person

The Day of the Doctor - S7-E16

Continuity mistake: In this episode, I. M. Foreman's scrapyard is at the end of the alley next to Coal Hill School. In "An Unearthly Child", the scrapyard was far enough away from the school that Barbara and Ian take Ian's car to get there. Barbara also describes it to Ian as "there's a big wall on one side, houses on the other." If it was right next to the school, she would have mentioned "that scrapyard next to the school." Suggested correction: The evidence to this is merely a sign directing people to the scrapyard. This does not indicate whether or not the scrapyard in question is actually at the end of that road.

That still seems to be a point to bring up. Or better yet, "Her address is the same as the scrapyard on that sign outside the school."

Season 1 generally

Question: 1. Why was Rose not allowed to touch her past self without creating a paradox and causing those creatures to appear and eat everyone, but Amy was allowed to touch her younger self without any repercussions? 2. Why was Rose able to have the time vortex in her head for a few minutes and it only knocked her unconscious whereas the Doctor had it inside him for about 30 seconds and it basically killed him and caused his regeneration?

strikeand

Chosen answer: 1) When Stephen Moffat took over he ignored a lot of what had been developed before (there is not in-universe answer). 2) It would have killed Rose, so the Doctor absorbed the energy. His body regenerated before the energy could do a significant amount of damage that would prevent regeneration.
