The Joker Trumps an Ace (1) - S1-E25

Revealing mistake: In Commissioner Gordon's office, when Batman opens Joker's gift the genie figure begins to inflate, and in the overhead shot the stunt's covered air hose is visible at the bottom of the screen. In the next shot Batman pops the figure causing it to deflate, and the wire at the top of the figure's head is visible as it descends. (00:07:05)

The Curse of Tut (1) - S1-E27

Other mistake: After King Tut's men deliver the statue, it's referred to as a Sphinx. Even Batman says, "Rather good imitation of the 4th Dynasty's Sphinx at Giza." Problem is, the Great Sphinx of Giza is a reclining lion with a human head. The statue in Gotham's park is a ram's head atop a seated human body, resembling Egyptian God Khnum, and looks nothing like the Egyptian Sphinx. Bruce Wayne is a member of Gotham City Museum's Board of Trustees, which recently opened the new exhibit of Egyptian antiquities. (00:10:35)

The Curse of Tut (1) - S1-E27

Factual error: Though he's a bastion of knowledge and a member of the museum board, Bruce Wayne completely mangles Egyptian history - twice. He says that King Tut ruled in the 14th Dynasty, and that the museum's mummy was a 14th Dynasty king who ruled in 1500 BC. Wrong on both counts. Tut reigned from 1336-1349 BC. The 14th Dynasty ran from 1773-1650 BC. Wayne would have known that - and so would his well-educated colleagues, none of whom points out the error. (00:13:00 - 00:15:00)

The Curse of Tut (1) - S1-E27

Continuity mistake: While Bruce Wayne is lying on a gurney at the back of the ambulance, in the wide shot of Tut's henchmen driving along on the street, there's a rearview mirror on the windshield and a single beacon light on the roof, but in the closeups the rearview mirror is gone and there are two beacon lights on the roof. The Bookworm Turns (1) - S1-E29

Revealing mistake: At about the 6:40 mark into the episode, The Bookworm puts an explosive device in the Batmobile which is detected automatically. Batman pushes the auto eject to throw it out of the car. As the special effects prop explodes, you can see the rope it is hanging from as it swings to the side.

While Gotham City Burns (2) - S1-E30

Continuity mistake: While Bookworm is at stately Wayne Manor he hands Aunt Harriet a book, and when she opens it Harriet and Alfred are gassed unconscious. In the next closeup of the rare book encased in glass, its open pages have colorful illustrations, but in the next shot the open pages have only plain text. (00:09:30)

Super Grover

Commissioner Gordon: Great day in the morning.

Batman trivia picture

Trivia: The 1966 T.V. Batmobile was created from a decade-old "concept show car" designed and built in 1955 by Ford's Lincoln Division. It was called the Lincoln Futura, and was originally a pearlescent pale green. After several years on the car show rounds (and an appearance in one movie, repainted red), it was sold for $1 to George Barris who stored it outdoors for 6 years. When FOX called looking for Barris to build a car for the show, they gave him 3 weeks, so he grabbed this already-weird looking car he had out back, sketched a few changes and passed the physical work to Bill Cushenberry. It was finished on time and the rest is history.

Answer: There wasn't one singular city used. It was shot in and around various locations in California, plus on a lot of sets and backlots. Ex. Some scenes were shot in LA, some in Pasadena, some in Santa Barbara, etc.
