What Are Little Girls Made Of? - S1-E8
Revealing mistake: When Korby introduces the new android Kirk to Chapel, as the duplicator table slowly turns the edit in the footage can be seen in this shot, just as the real Kirk suddenly vanishes from the space he was in.
Visible crew/equipment: When Spock walks into the briefing room, he stands in front of the closed doors telling himself that he's in control of his emotions, and when he says, "My duty," the shadow of the boom mic can be seen moving across the wall at the top of the screen. (00:36:40)
Tomorrow is Yesterday - S1-E20
Character mistake: When first considering the impact of Captain Christopher's removal from this time, Spock makes a mistake in his dialogue. He says "They show no record of any irrelevent contribution..." when it should be "relevent..." (00:13:50)
Tomorrow is Yesterday - S1-E20
Visible crew/equipment: As Spock gives his report to Kirk on the bridge, the shadow of the boom mic is over his right shoulder. (00:03:35)
Is There in Truth No Beauty? - S3-E5
Plot hole: When the Medusan Ambassador Kollos and Dr. Jones materialize, the latter is wearing a protective visor and Mr. Spock can see that. Spock then mistakenly addresses Dr. Jones as Ambassador Kollos. Spock's suddenly illogical mistake seems odd: why should the Ambassador need to wear a visor? Shortly after, why do both Jones and Spock wear visors while carrying the Ambassador's still closed gasket to his cabin? (00:01:45)
Continuity mistake: On the bridge, watch Uhura. She goes from both hands on her controls, to left hand on her earpiece in a split second.
A Piece of the Action - S2-E17
Visible crew/equipment: When Kirk and Spock pull up after their first car ride, a boom microphone is visible in the reflection from the passenger-side spare-tire cover, which is chromed. As Spock gets out, the mic moves away.
Revealing mistake: After Spock finds Gaetano's body he carries him back to the shuttle, and in the interior shot as McCoy and Boma carry Gaetano's body to the back, we can see though the shuttlecraft's doorway the top of the set's blue backdrop.
Continuity mistake: After Spock tells Boma and Gaetano that he's in command and they should fire only to frighten, not to kill, one of the creatures throws a spear and then his shield at the trio, and when the shield hits the ground it's much smaller than the huge shield lying on the ground in the next close-up. (00:23:15)
The Conscience of the King - S1-E14
Visible crew/equipment: When Lenore arrives at the Leighton's cocktail party, there is no furniture behind Kirk in the center of the room where they will stand in a moment. When Kirk introduces himself, in the next three shots facing Lenore, in front of her arm we can see a bit of camera equipment at the bottom of the screen.
The Conscience of the King - S1-E14
Continuity mistake: After the phaser explodes in the pressure vent disposal unit, just before Kirk walks into Karidian's quarters there's a crown and board on the table beside Karidian, but when Kirk gives the paper to Karidian for him to read, the board is suddenly on the opposite side of the table, though it has not been touched.
Continuity mistake: As Decker is talking about the Planet Killer, the camera looks at McCoy. His left eyebrow is slightly arched, and his hair is styled differently. It can be seen that this shot is reversed from normal.
Continuity mistake: As Kirk is crawling through the tunnel leading to the Horta's nest, a tight view from his left side shows light shining on his face and darkness behind him. When the shot changes, though, to the view from the nest, there is light behind him and darkness on his face.
The Enterprise Incident - S3-E2
Other mistake: When Chapel comes into Sickbay and looks at the "dead" Captain, the camera goes to close up of Kirk, and he wakes up. After she yells for McCoy, the camera goes back to Kirk, and he goes back to sleep. The motions of him waking are obviously played in a slow reverse instead of him quickly closing his eyes.
Continuity mistake: After Spock talks about Sun Worship on the bridge, Uhura goes to correct him. As she's sitting at her console, her arm is covering the note board. When the angle changes to include her, Kirk, Spock and McCoy, her arm is above the note board. Back to a close up, and her arm's covering it again.
Continuity mistake: When Kirk, Bones and Spock are commanded to stop, and raise their hands, they do so. After a moment, Kirk starts to lower his hands. After the camera cuts to a shot from behind, Kirk's hands are by his sides and he goes for his phaser. After another warning shot, he says "I think he means it." The camera goes back to facing them, and his hands are up again.
Continuity mistake: After Gary turns on the typewriter and tells Roberta to give her report but not with her fingers, she responds, "Well, how do you expect me to type, with my nose?" But the typewriter types, "How do you expect me to type, with my nose?" omitting the "Well." It didn't edit her question, because we see from the rest of the scene that it types absolutely every word she says until Gary turns it off. (00:17:45)
Continuity mistake: Kirk is talking to Scotty on his monitor, after they have finished talking Kirk goes to switch off the monitor by pressing the button just below it. If you watch very closely you will notice Mr Scotts image fades from the screen before Kirk even touches the button. (00:07:05)
Continuity mistake: During the fight with the Andorian Kirk was stabbed in his lower kidney region, he even holds his hand there to stop the bleeding. In sickbay later on, he has a bandage around his chest and McCoy says he has a punctured lung. (00:28:30)
Continuity mistake: Lt. Galloway, who was killed off the season before in "The Omega Glory," is resurrected without explanation for this final episode. (00:24:25)
Answer: After causing Norman to overload, all of the other androids shut down. The same could be said for the androids on the Enterprise.
