Corrected entry: In 3-59 "Krabby Land," when Mr. Krabs introduces Krabby Land, the shape of the structure under the tarp is immense. When he removes the tarp we can that see the structure is the inferior structure that it is.
Corrected entry: In some episodes SpongeBob has a garage and in most he doesn't, and also, why would he have one if he didn't drive?
Correction: Spongebob's house changes a lot. Sometimes he has an attic, sometimes he has a cellar. And also, many people have garages that aren't used to store cars. My garage is filled with boxes, and has NEVER had a car in it.
Nasty Patty / The Idiot Box - S3-E4
Corrected entry: When the health inspector hits his head on the table his hat falls off. Later when he's in the hole his hat is back on.
Correction: Do we really know how much time passed between these shots? Spongebob or Mr. Krabs could easily have put the hat back on the health inspector. Maybe they did it so there wouldn't be any evidence.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Patrick and Spongebob are in the treedome and are hiding from wormy the "Monster," they jump into a barrel. If you look at Spongebob and Patrick outside of the barrel, you can see that there is no way they both could fit inside it and still have all of the space that is shown.
Correction: In this episode Patrick and Spongebob are also in an underwater glass sphere which has grass, a tree, and a phone made out of wood and acorns. The entire Spongebob series requires suspension of disbelief through every episode.
The Secret Box / Band Geeks - S2-E14
Corrected entry: On day one of band training, Patrick kicks Sandy and she takes him outside, and puts his neck in a trombone. It slides up then slides down. When it slides down, It seems to just disappear into the other part.
Correction: It was a joke because when the trombone stick went up and then went down and some parts disappear in the trombone Patrick went and looked down and might of thought,''How did it do that?''
The Secret Box / Band Geeks - S2-E14
Corrected entry: When Squidward and his band start walking into the bubble, Squidward's conductor outfit suddenly appears on his body.
Correction: You can clearly see Squidward rip his shirt off, his conductor outfit was under his shirt.
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy / Pickles - S1-E6
Corrected entry: In "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy", when Sponge and Patrick were playing Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, Squidward wasn't wearing his shirt. In the next scene, he is.
Correction: The phrase, "In the next scene", defies the entry. Squidward slipped on the shirt between the two scenes.
Pressure / The Smoking Peanut - S2-E12
Corrected entry: When SpongeBob gets inside his house after talking to Patrick the police come into SpongeBob's house. If you look at the furniture in the background throughout the scene you can see that the furniture changes places all the time.
Correction: The furniture does not change, it stays in the same spot the whole time.
SpongeBob Meets the Strangler / Pranks a Lot - S3-E20
Corrected entry: If the invisible paint washes off with water, wouldn't SpongeBob/Patrick fade into view immediately (because they are underwater)?
Correction: Technically yes. But if this is a problem then we'd also have to count the whole show as a problem. Like people who live underwater drowning, blowing bubbles, and drinking beverages. Because this is a cartoon this is not a valid mistake as it's artistic license.
Dying For Pie / Imitation Krabs - S2-E6
Corrected entry: If Spongebob says the sweater he made for Squidward was made of eyelashes, then how come his eyebrows are plucked out in the shot? Plus, Spongebob never even had eyebrows of that manner before this episode.
Correction: Spongebob made him a full sized sweater, no one in the world has that many eyelashes so the eyebrows were likely the next best thing. As it was meant to be a personal gift this might have been his only option. As for not seeing the eyebrows before, it's a visual joke that is done numerous times in the show. In one episode Patrick for a short scene had a much larger stomach and a lot more underarm hair and then all of sudden it goes back to normal.
Something Smells / Bossy Boots - S2-E1
Corrected entry: In "Bossy Boots", Spongebob says "Salad" like they haven't served salads at the Krusty Krab before. But in "Culture Shock" Mr. Krabs had a free salad bar.
Correction: Mistake Spongebob made. Can easily pass as Spongebob is not the brightest fish in the sea.
New Student Starfish / Clams - S3-E14
Corrected entry: In New Student Starfish, Patrick doesn't have the first clue about driving. Yet in the earlier episode "Boating School", Patrick gave Spongebob instructions how to drive via walkie-talkie-and he wasn't reading a manual to him.
Correction: Patrick's memory is just like a baby's. It's likely that he totally forgot about how to drive.
The Sponge Who Could Fly (aka The Lost Episode) - S3-E16
Corrected entry: At the end, Patchy the Pirate pushes the wrong button on the remote, and the tape starts shooting out at him. One of the next shots shows him squirming around in the tape, and then he rolls over onto his stomach. He kicks his legs in the air, and both of his feet are visible, but earlier in the episode, when he was watching the lost episode, one of his legs ended at the knee.
Correction: Remember this is Spongebob - Patchy's eye patch changes eyes various times, and remember at the beginning of the episode, he puts a fake leg on the leg that ends at the knee. Who's to say he didn't put it on whilst he was watching the episode?
Your Shoe's Untied / Squid's Day Off - S2-E2
Corrected entry: In Your Shoe's Untied, in every shot of SpongeBob grilling, the grill is on the wrong side, and the window that SpongeBob hands the food to Squidward through is missing.
Correction: The grill was on the same side the entire time we see it in that episode. If it was on another side in a different episode it doesn't count because they could have moved it. The window Spongebob hands the food to Squidward is there, that's how Spongebob managed to throw so many krabby patties in his mouth in that episode.
Naughty Nautical Neighbors / Boating School - S1-E4
Corrected entry: In Naughty Nautical Neighbors, at the start, SpongeBob's house is on the very left and Patrick's house where SpongeBob should be.
Correction: This is because Spongebob and Patrick and in their backyards, so you are actually seeing the backs of their houses.
Corrected entry: In the episode "Missing Identity", SpongeBob says that he has never eaten Gary's food (that's why he tastes it). However, in "I was a teenage Gary", an episode that took place before this one, SpongeBob does taste Gary's food, when he's mutating. This not only happens in this episode, it happens in many. In the episode "Opposite day", we also see him eating Gary's food, saying "Meow".
Correction: The episode Missing Identity could be at a time before the other two.
The Graveyard Shift / Krusty Love - S3-E13
Corrected entry: When SpongeBob goes out to throw the trash, the sign of Krusty Krab isn't there.
Correction: First, this is not a plot hole. It should be changed to continuity, but my point is that you cannot see the sign because it is not visible from the camera angle. Imagine the Krusty Krab's shape as a rectangle. You can't see the sign because at a 90 degree angle from the door side to the short side of the rectangle, the sign is posted on the short side.
Corrected entry: In most of the shows, the grill in the Krusty Krab is right behind the front counter, with only a wall between them. But in "Your Shoe's Untied", it is on the other side of the kitchen.
Correction: As seen in some episodes, such as Nature Pants, there are two grills- one on each side of the room.
Corrected entry: In Sandy's place, SpongeBob blows a bubble which captures the butterfly. SpongeBob is wearing a helmet, so how can he blow bubbles?
Correction: The show has established on more than a few occasions that it is far from factually accurate. Just a few examples, they walk around as if there was gravity, they can light fires underwater etc. To blow bubbles through a glass helmet is just another example of not being factually accurate but not a mistake in the context of the show.
Corrected entry: The spots on SpongeBob always changes between shots. For example, one shot, there is a big round spot on him, but in the next shot, it would be either somewhere else, or in a different size.
Correction: That's to hide the poorness of Krabby Land.
