Continuity mistake: In Potter's tent, he holds the door for Brandy to enter. In the close up, you see him drop his left hand to close the door after she passes him and inside. After the angle change, his hand is back on the door, and she's just even with him walking forward.
Continuity mistake: As Klinger and Margaret are talking about the date, he takes a sip of his drink and goes to put his hand down. After the angle changes and he goes to say his line, he repeats putting the glass down.
The Merchant of Korea - S6-E14
Continuity mistake: After answering a call for help, BJ gets first a right glove on, then as he talks, gets a left glove. After the angle changes, he gets a left glove again.
Continuity mistake: In the last O.R. of the episode, Winchester is wearing a surgical gown with the same blood stain pattern as in the previous episode. This also would be impossible given the cleaning procedures.
Continuity mistake: As the interviewer talks to Hawkeye, his hand alternates from just below the microphone head to just above the bottom end between angles.
Continuity mistake: As Henry watches the chopper fly off, his back is to Radar's jeep. After he orders back to camp, Henry is suddenly standing with his right side to the jeep without having turned.
Continuity mistake: The syringe the "Mad Turk" threatens Henry with alternates between fully ready to almost empty between shots.
Continuity mistake: As Radar is sorting mail, and Trapper makes a joke, Radar starts to put a letter down. After the angle change, he puts the letter down again.
Continuity mistake: As the boys talk to Col. Lambert, Trapper is back a bit from the table. When the angle changes, he's a lot closer.

Continuity mistake: The C.I.D man's hat goes from straight to crooked between cuts in the swamp as he tries to leave.
Continuity mistake: Frank comes over to talk to Hawkeye and Trapper. His arms go from down by his sides to hands on hips between angles.
The Abduction of Margaret Houlihan - S5-E6
Continuity mistake: In Potter's office, after BJ and Hawkeye finish their lines Hawkeye starts to play with his yo yo. After the angle change he starts with his yo yo again.
Continuity mistake: When Mr's Li first threatens Klinger with a pitchfork in his office, it has four tines. A close up shows a completely different five tine fork. Then back to the first one.
Continuity mistake: The crew is getting the bad news in Henry's office when Radar reports more choppers. From behind, Henry starts to react, and when the angle changes he reacts again.
Continuity mistake: When "Ralph" has Hawkeye and BJ at gunpoint, saving their lives, the scenery behind them changes several times. Sometimes there's the road and a few trees. Then there's no road and a lot more trees and shrubbery.
They Call the Wind Korea - S7-E7
Continuity mistake: When Klinger is coming over the hill at the end of the episode, the camera shows him in the outdoor setting, and the spot he's on has sparse vegetation. When the camera goes to a close up of him, the trees and shrubs are thicker and closer to him. This alternates a couple of times.
Continuity mistake: When BJ is letting Hawkeye in on the fact the he was the only real victim of the gag, he's putting a forkful of eggs in his mouth. After the camera cuts to Margaret and back, he doing it again. His mouth was empty both times.
Continuity mistake: When Mulcahy is describing a person who was "quite a Bozo" to Potter, Potter realizes who he is referring to. Mulcahy's arm is close to the table. When the camera cuts to Mulcahy's face, his mug is close to his face.
Continuity mistake: When Potter is chewing out Klinger about the morning reports, the camera is looking at Potter. As he finishes his line with "once in a while", he puts his right arm down. When the camera cuts to look at Klinger from behind Potter, his (Potter's) arm is up and finger pointing at Klinger.
Answer: Even an Army field hospital would have SOME weapons for self-defense if the enemy attacked. What's meant is that it's not a combat outfit, and therefore wouldn't have enough weapons to actually attack anyone. (It's also mentioned a few times that the Officer of the Watch is supposed to carry a pistol at all times, but Hawkeye refuses to do it when he's in charge and Colonels Blake and Potter don't enforce the rule).
