Frasier

Wheels of Fortune - S9-E16

Continuity mistake: Frasier and Niles are looking at the salt server Blaine returned to Frasier - in one shot the large envelope, the mailer strip, and the note are on the coffee table - in the next shot the strip has disappeared and the envelope and note have changed position.

Flour Child - S2-E4

Continuity mistake: Frasier and Daphne are forging signatures on the get well card. In one shot they both have their pens quite a distance from the card but in the next shot they are both writing, without enough time for the change. (00:16:35)

Proxy Prexy - S10-E3

Continuity mistake: Frasier is talking about running for the condo board and lifts his coffee cup to his mouth. The shot goes to Martin who says, "You might be the best man for the job," and Frasier's cup is still on the table. (00:01:10)

Martin Does It His Way - S3-E3

Continuity mistake: When Martin is sorting through the box of lyrics, the newspaper on his side table keeps switching position between shots - sometimes it is leaning on top of the remote control, others it is laying flat on the table next to the remote.

The 1000th Show - S5-E5

Continuity mistake: Near the start of the show, Roz is reading the note Bulldog has left with the teddy bear. She is holding the note in both hands with the bear between her arm and chest. As she says "love, Bulldog", the shot shows one hand hugging the bear against her, with no time for this to have happened naturally.

The Bad Son - S8-E3

Continuity mistake: When Niles and Daphne are on the roof having their picnic, Niles tries Daphne's peanut brittle but when she turns away he throws it off the roof, and lays the plate down on the blanket. When Daphne turns back and asks him what happened to the candy, we see him holding the plate again, even though he had no time to pick it up.

The Kid (2) - S5-E4

Continuity mistake: Early on in the show Roz and Frasier are in her booth talking, and she is holding a file folder. The next shot from another angle shows her holding a clipboard and then the shot switches back and she is holding the folder again.

Father of the Bride - S7-E2

Continuity mistake: Frazier and Marty go into the kitchen. Frazier gets out a blue bottle of water, uncaps it, puts the cap on the counter - and in the next shot we see him do the same thing again. He then goes into the living room and mistakenly tells Daphne he is going to pay for her wedding. She hugs him, and he is still holding the bottle of water. The next shot of her hugging him shows nothing in his hands, and when she lets him go, he whirls around and grabs his bottle of water off the bookcase.

Love Bites Dog - S4-E2

Continuity mistake: Bulldog goes into the booth towards the end of the show, and puts his gong and cowbell on the console to his left. When he says "attention, sports fans", the cowbell has suddenly shifted to being in front of him, even though he didn't touch it.

I Hate Frasier Crane - S1-E4

Continuity mistake: At the radio station, Roz waves her pencil at Frasier through the glass to wrap up his show; she has a KACL mug in her other hand. The next shot shows her actually leaning over to pick up the mug, without enough time for her to have put it down in the first place.

Love Bites Dog - S4-E2

Continuity mistake: Sharon and Bulldog are arguing about golf at Cafe Nervosa, and she has her arm outstretched on the table. As Bulldog says, "If we leave right now", her hands are folded together on the table, without enough time for the change.

Dial M For Martin - S6-E3

Continuity mistake: Frasier comes home to his apartment with a bottle of wine in a paper bag. He takes the bottle out and puts it on the table holding the bag in the other hand, but in the next shot we see the bag is already on the table and he is just placing the bottle down.

Good Grief - S6-E1

Continuity mistake: At the picnic, Bulldog puts his hand on the shoulder of a little girl in a dark pink dress, just before the pinata bashing starts; the next shot shows the same little girl is standing on the other side of the pinata, next to a woman in a blue and white striped top.

Everyone's a Critic - S7-E4

Continuity mistake: When Poppy is just about to start her show and is being emotional with everyone, Roz is standing at the door with a corded phone to her ear throughout the scene. She yells "Ten seconds." and the shot shows the phone, cord and all, has completely disappeared.

Good Grief - S6-E1

Continuity mistake: Marty and Niles are getting off the elevator and Marty transfers his mail into his left hand just as he goes to open the door to Frasier's apartment. When the shot changes to show them coming into the apartment, the mail is in Marty's right hand - there is no way he could have transferred the mail again in such a short time.

Enemy at the Gate - S10-E2

Visible crew/equipment: When Frasier is standing through his sunroof to speak with the drivers stuck behind him in the parking garage, one shot shows Frasier's body and much of the rear window which features a very clear reflection of the boom mic.

Show generally

Question: There's probably an obvious answer to this but is there any actual in-show significance to the 'Tossed Salads and Scrambled Eggs' song heard at the end of every episode? I ask mainly because I remembered there was one show in particular where Frasier unintentionally scars Lilith emotionally and pretty much cements the end of their relationship over a misunderstanding about scrambled eggs. Were there any similar conflicts over a tossed salad?

Answer: In the last episode, they explained that Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs is a metaphor for the mixed-up people to whom Frasier dispenses his radio psychiatric advice.
