Continuity mistake: When Grace is cleaning the table with the playing cards on it, all the cards are separated in piles on the table, but in the next shot they're all in one big messy pile. Grace holds a small piles of cards, and never touches the big messy pile, then in the next shot she picks somehow up all the remaining cards in one neat pile. (01:21:05)

Continuity mistake: When Karen arrives late to Mason's swim meet, Jack balls her out, and she stirs the Bloody Mary she's holding then throws the celery stalk down into the pool. Yet, two shots later, as Jack rides his scooter out, the long celery stalk is amazingly back in her drink. (00:50:40)

Continuity mistake: When Grace tells Will that it is laundry day and that she has been wearing a peach bridesmaids dress all day, Will says, "Oh, um there's a roll of quarters in my top drawer right beside." When he says that he has a fork on his hand, when the shot changes he says, "My eye cream and my pedicure kit," suddenly the fork has disappeared. (00:01:25)
Lows in the Mid-Eighties (1) - S3-E8
Continuity mistake: In the scene in which Will is sitting in Bobbie Adler's bathroom, talking to Jack on the telephone, the shots alternate between the bathroom and Jack's bedroom. At the beginning of their conversation, the digital clock in Jack's bedroom reads 12:07. For the next few shots, each time the audience is taken back to Jack's bedroom, the time on the clock has changed according to the actual time lapsing in the scene. However, in the middle of this sequence, the digital clock suddenly reads 12:24, where it had read 12:09 in the shot immediately preceding. Finally, in the very next shot in Jack's bedroom, the clock has gone back to "real time," with a reading of 12:10. The assumption is that the shot in the middle of this sequence had to be re-done, thus reflecting the time passage on the clock. (00:15:30 - 00:17:40)
Continuity mistake: When Jack reveals to Will that he is too shy to ask out the sales assistant in the Banana Republic, Jack stands by a wooden shelf. Between shots the positions of his hands on the wooden pole keep changing, and which hand is holding it with also differs. (00:27:20)
Continuity mistake: When Jack is teaching James Earl Jones to act, we can see the table behind him has a script sitting on the middle of the table. When he goes to pick it up, the script is now sitting on the edge. (00:13:45)

Continuity mistake: When Bobbi enters the flat at the end of the film, there is a green magazine on the sofa beside Grace. When Bobbi walks over to sit down, the magazine has vanished. After their talk the magazine has reappeared. (00:19:25)

Revealing mistake: When we see Grace rolling down the staircase, when she hits the wall, it gives in, like a cheap set wall. (01:22:10)
Continuity mistake: When Grace is preparing the food for the thanksgiving dinner, she unwraps the plastic wrapping from the bowl of cranberries, and scrunches it into a ball. In the next shot she holds it and it is unwrapped and not a ball anymore. (01:10:25)
Continuity mistake: When Jack is lying on the table, with the huge bowl on his face, the position of the boxes behind him on the table changes a few times. In one shot they're half hanging off of the table, in the next shot they're fully on the table etc. (01:08:15)

Continuity mistake: When Jack is talking to Dorleen, the yellow schedule in his hands disappears between shots. (00:05:50)

Continuity mistake: After Adam leaves the cooking class and Will is talking to Jack the lids on the cooking pans keep disappearing - you can tell because the handles are visible in only some shots. (00:17:15)
Poker? I Don't even Like Her - S3-E19
Continuity mistake: In the spa, Karen puts her 'Dazzle' magazine down to talk with Candace. When she sits down again it has moved to the other side of the spa bench. (00:22:55)
Continuity mistake: When Karen is about to pot the black ball in snooker, Beverly does a fake sneeze to make Karen loose her concentration. Karen's stick is on the table when she grumbles, but is in her hand in the next shot. (00:35:40)
Continuity mistake: In the end credits, as Karen is talking to Rosario in the limo, she takes an empty martini glass as pours herself a drink. Between shots a olive appears in the glass as she pours, and in the next shot it disappears. (00:20:10)

Continuity mistake: When Grace puts her handbag on the worktop, the straps hang down, but when Will says "Ooh, pushed a button," they stand upright. (00:09:20 - 00:10:30)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the ep., where Will and Grace play a board game, the red plastic cards on the board change their position many times, as does the paper money and the dice. (00:18:45)
Chosen answer: I'm not from New York so I can't speak for them, but in Chicago it has happened before. not very often though but I do recall it happening. I have also seen no tickets sold prior to the show at all, it was just first come first served the night of the show. That is very uncommon though.
