Continuity mistake: Right before the '3-way'; Samantha takes off the top of her lingerie/dress and pushes it down to her waist, to reveal a strapless black bra she is wearing underneath. She does this in response to the younger girl removing her top, and they are both obviously getting ready for the main event. But in the next shot when Samantha is kissing Richard in bed, she is suddenly wearing the black lingerie/dress pulled back up over her shoulders again. Why would she put the dress back on, after removing it for sex? (00:23:10)
Continuity mistake: When Carrie and the Vogue editor are drinking martinis in his office, the level of liquor in their glasses changes from shot to shot.
Continuity mistake: When Charlotte is crying into the pillow, we can see that she's gotten black eye make-up on it. The splodges of make-up disappear twice during the scene, most noticeable just when Carrie walks in holding the baby.
Continuity mistake: When Miranda holds the rattler the way its ribbon falls changes between shots: First it all falls on the left side, then it's split in two halves.
Continuity mistake: When Charlotte hands the Tiffany gift to Miranda, her hands hold both sides of the box. From a different angle the gift lies on the palms of her hands. Also, the pen she was holding disappears.
Continuity mistake: When Miranda is given the breast pump, Charlotte is writing on her notebook, but half a second later she is grabbing a box.
Continuity mistake: During The baby shower Samantha grabs the third baby pajama, but from the opposite angle her hand is empty and she is grabbing it again.
Continuity mistake: Carrie and Miranda are outside talking and Carrie says "we'll be two quitters" and takes both hands to her chest. A shot later they"re lowered.
Continuity mistake: When Richard and Sam are having dinner they raise and hold their hands. From the opposite angle they are lowered. This changes back and forth.
Continuity mistake: At Vogue, when Carrie toasts she holds the Martini glass by the stem, but a shot later she is holding the bowl.
Revealing mistake: When the episode starts and credits are still rolling, there are obvious groups of bystanders watching the filming and staring straight at the camera.
Continuity mistake: At Vogue, the way Edith Mead holds Carrie's article filled with notes differs between shots.

Visible crew/equipment: When Carrie arrives at the hospital room, Miranda is walking back and forth trying to break her water. When she turns back towards Carrie, you can see something sticking out prominently from under her hospital gown on the right side of her abdomen. The object appears to be swinging around on a line or wire as Miranda moves. When Miranda gets closer to Carrie and finally stops just in front of her; you can see the entire wire or line attached to the object slanting diagonally from her left shoulder, across her chest and down her abdomen, just right of the center. The protruding object, and line or wire must be her mic. (00:24:10)

Revealing mistake: At the end of this episode when Carrie is walking away from Mr. Big's apartment; she notices an Autumn leaf, and follows it with her eyes as it floats down to the ground. However, this leaf is actually digital and not real. Sarah Jessica Parker had to pretend to be staring at a leaf that wasn't there while filming; and if you watch her gaze carefully, it doesn't always follow the path of the leaf. She looks down too soon, before the leaf has a chance to float down that far. (00:29:40)
