Continuity mistake: When Carrie and Miranda go the buy the wedding dress, the clerk's hands are either on top of a book or next to its edge, depending on the shot.
Continuity mistake: After the sonogram, while Carrie and Miranda walk, bystanders stare at the filming, check the old lady with a pink T-shirt on the right, bending her neck, and the woman with a cell phone on the left.
Continuity mistake: In the shower, Aidan's slick hair swaps to messed up in a split second. Water couldn't have done it and neither could he, for his hands were busy soaping his body.
Continuity mistake: Magda holds the sonogram from the lower left corner, but a shot later she is holding the upper left one.
Continuity mistake: At the ball, Richard takes a sip with his right hand, but from a different angle it's his left.
Continuity mistake: During brunch, when Miranda asks "an unpleasant question" a fork suddenly appears in her hand.
Continuity mistake: The clerk at the wedding dress store closes the book next to her, but a shot later it's open.
Continuity mistake: When Miranda feels a kick the towel on the sink changes positions between shots.
Continuity mistake: Aidan gets in the shower and raises his left arm. A shot later it's lowered.
Plot hole: When Carrie sits down to read Aiden's 'farewell letter,' she discovers he has left her legal papers instead. Miranda later examines the legal documents, and explains the terms at the restaurant. But Aiden has only just moved out that day, and had spent the previous night in the apartment next door. (This was made clear in the previous episode, when Carrie explains in voiceover that 'the next day, Aiden moved out'.) He has spent the day moving his things out; there is no logical way he would have had time to contact a legal firm, make an appointment, go to the appointment, make arrangements to deal with Carrie's apartment, and have complex legal documents drawn up and ready to give to Carrie. None of this could have possibly happened between the night before when Aiden decided to end the relationship, and the next day when he physically moved out. No additional time has passed, as Carrie asks him to stay 'one more day', implying this really is the day after the previous episode. (00:04:25)
Revealing mistake: When Charlotte is putting her diamond ring on in her apartment, there is a close-up shot of it. It is a large, circular diamond on a simple golden band. This is not the same diamond engagement ring she has been wearing previously in the series. That ring had two parallel silver bands, and the diamond looked slightly different. (00:10:10)
Revealing mistake: When Samantha is surprised at Richard's apartment by his assistant, she quickly throws her towel around herself to cover up. But the towel rides up too far, and you can see that Kim Cattrall is wearing tan or nude colored underwear. Soon after that, Samantha makes a comment to the assistant that implies she was nude under the towel. So the panties were probably for the benefit of the actress, to protect her modesty below the waist. (00:21:40)
Plot hole: When Charlotte places her ring box in front of Carrie on the table at the restaurant, there is a close-up shot showing that she is still wearing her simple gold wedding band on her right hand. The entire episode has emphasized that it's strange for Charlotte to still be wearing her diamond engagement ring when she is alone, since she is getting a divorce. So why is nothing mentioned about her continuing to wear her gold wedding band? That doesn't seem to be an issue, but wouldn't it be just as strange? (00:26:40)
Continuity mistake: When Carrie visits Charlotte she says "and for the record" and raises her right hand towards her forehead. From the opposite angle it's lowered.
Continuity mistake: When the jewelry clerk advises Charlotte what to do with her ring she extends two fingers, but a shot later she is extending all five.
Continuity mistake: Carrie says that Aidan made her keep the ring and Miranda is holding her glass. A shot later her hands are away from it. This swaps back and forth.
Continuity mistake: During breakfast Miranda holds the legal letter with both hands, but in the wide angle she holds it with only one hand.
Continuity mistake: Miranda folds and puts down the legal papers, but a shot later she is still holding them in her hands.
Continuity mistake: When the girls exit the restaurant the passers-by behind are not continuous between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the girls finish breakfast, Miranda puts the papers in the envelope twice.
