The One With Ross' New Girlfriend - S2-E1
Revealing mistake: At the end, when Rachel and Ross are talking on Monica and Rachel's balcony, the edge of the "brick" wall behind them has a gap in it. The facade is obviously a thin plastic sheet made to look like bricks and mortar, and it has pulled away from the surface it is attached to.
The One Where Heckles Dies - S2-E3
Revealing mistake: After Mr. Heckles has been taken away, in the last wideshot while everyone's still standing in the hallway, when this is viewed on the DVD (Warner Bros. S2 set) we can see a long black line on the floor (as noted in another mistake). The problem is that when this is viewed online on Netflix, even though we can see the very same area of floor, that black line has been blurred out. Weird that it wasn't edited on the DVD, and yet it was for the version available on Netflix.
The One With The Lesbian Wedding - S2-E11
Revealing mistake: The first time we see Rachel's mom in the coffee house, Rachel puts her coat on the hook by the door. When she does this the wall visibly shakes.
The One After the Superbowl, part 2 - S2-E13
Revealing mistake: Rachel grabs a jar of sauce from the shelf and says, "You give me back my sweater or it's handbag marinara." You can tell from the sound it makes when it opens - no pop - that the jar had already been opened before she pulls the lid off.
The One Where Joey Moves Out - S2-E16
Revealing mistake: When Chandler and Joey are arguing, they go into their rooms and slam the doors. By Chandler's door, you can see the wall move. (00:10:35)
The One Where Eddie Won't Go - S2-E19
Revealing mistake: When the men are repossessing Joey's things, a view of New York can be seen through the window, but it's clearly a picture. (00:08:00)
The One With The Bullies - S2-E21
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Ross, Chandler, and the bullies are fighting in the street, an extra bumps the fire hydrant and it wobbles and slides over. (00:21:55)
The One With Barry & Mindy's Wedding - S2-E24
Revealing mistake: When Chandler finds out that his online girlfriend is married, the camera cuts to Joey, and you can see the computer screen is off.
Answer: Usually by the seventh night of Hanukkah you don't know what to get the other person, and you will probably resort to getting the other person something insignificant. Chandler is basically saying that the pen is a stupid gift.
