The One With The Lesbian Wedding - S2-E11

Corrected entry: In the party after the wedding Rachel's mom comes up to Rachel to talk. Well in one shot Rachel has her drink in her right hand right when her mom starts handing her drink to Rachel. Next shot Rachel has her drink in her left hand and takes her mom's in her right hand even though there's just no time to switch hands between those shots.

Correction: She is holding the glass in her right hand but her left hand is practically touching the glass making it very easy for her to switch hands. Even in slow motion this scene looks OK.

Correction: Rachel never says this, the closest she comes is when she simply says "together?" During the scene where they discuss the cat her tray doesn't change position in any unusual or unexplainable way.

Correction: I've looked carefully at this scene and I see no laundry and nothing that changes outside the kitchen window during this scene.

The One After the Superbowl, part 1 - S2-E12

Corrected entry: When the gang is watching Joey's first show on Days of our Lives, he demonstrates how "smell the fart" acting works and then, on his show, he does it in his scene. It is unlikely a take where an actor forgot his lines and paused in such a way would be used on the finished product.

Correction: It's not as unlikely as you think. Soaps are filmed with limited time and resources, so any take that even comes close to being right could be used in the final product. I've seen far worse acting/mistakes on soap operas than a pause to remember a line.

The One With Ross' New Girlfriend - S2-E1

Corrected entry: In the first episode of the second series, Ross mentions to the group that, after returning from Beijing, it was six o'clock the next evening to Julie and himself. This is impossible; when it is six p.m. in Beijing it is five a.m. in New York, so it would be that time and it seems strange that they would all be gathered at Monica's apartment and Rachel would have just concluded a date (in the last episode of the first season) at such a time. For it to make any kind of sense, Ross would have to have returned from, say, New Zealand, and it would be one a.m. EST, which would be slightly more believable.

Correction: Given the way Ross makes this remark, it is not meant to be taken literally. He has just been travelling for a loooong time and is trying to highlight the time difference. This is exactly the kind or remark most of us would make after passing through multiple time zones.

The One With the List - S2-E8

Corrected entry: In TOW, the list Monica says that she is allergic to cat hair. In TOW Ross Finds Out we find out that Monica used to have a cat named Fluffy Meowington. To me that sounds like an animal with a lot of cat hair.

Correction: My family used to own a cat, after having it for 3 or 4 years my sister developed an allergy to cat hair, maybe the exposure Monica experienced while owning a cat helped her realise she does have a cat allergy.

Kara

Correction: Rachel and Ross could have been allowed to bring friends? Maybe Richard and Barry know each other through their jobs, seeing as they are both in the medical profession.

Cybermoose

Correction: A third nipple is usually much smaller than the other nipples, several inches away and looks more like a mole. For example, Mark Wahlberg has a third nipple that looks like a mole. It is likely if Ross saw Chandler without a shirt on and saw anything, he assumed it was a mole and Chandler did not tell Ross what it was. Chandler likely mentioned it to Joey.

Kaltenmeyer

Correction: If Ross knew, then everyone else (except Rachel) would know too. If so, then why would Chandler be so angry at Monica for telling them. Obviously no-one knew about his third nipple because it was Chandler's big secret.

They were roommates in college. Ross knew.

The One With Ross's Teeth - S6-E8

Monica: What happened to your teeth?
Ross: I whitened them.
Chandler: Really?
Ross: Yeah, what... What do you think?
Monica: Well, uh, I think I shouldn't look directly at them.
Ross: Come on, seriously.
Monica: Ross, they're really, really, really white!
Chandler: Yeah, what was wrong with your old... Human teeth?
Ross: Well, I did leave the gel on a little longer than it said to.
Monica: How much longer?
Ross: Uh, uh... A day.
Monica: Ross, you know that tonight is your date with Hillary?
Ross: I know! That's why I did it! Come on, are they really that bad?
Chandler: No. No, no, no, you'll be fine. Hilary's blind, right?
Monica: She will be after tonight.

Trivia: Matthew Perry's wit is so legendary that the scriptwriters have often incorporated his gags into the show.

The One With The Jellyfish - S4-E1

Question: When Ross and Rachel are fighting, Chandler hides behind the door and bursts out saying, "I knew it!" When Rachel says, "It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy, and it is a big deal!" is this just a Chandler moment or is there another joke I have missed?

Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
