Corrected entry: When Rachel is looking for an apartment, Phoebe says she can stay with her because her roommate Denise will be gone until December 26th. But when the apartment burns down and they plan to move back in episode 10 of season 7, nobody cares that Denise would've been back a LONG time and also doesn't have an apartment, because Phoebe wants Rachel to move in with her.
Correction: Even assuming Denise was real (and I agree with the "Santa Claus" argument meaning she may well be), it's perfectly plausible that there was an off-screen conversation / event where Denise found somewhere else to live due to the fire and then didn't need to move back in with Phoebe. Plenty of life events happen to the cast outside of the episodes.
The One With The Ring - S6-E23
Corrected entry: When Chandler and Phoebe go to the jewelry store Phoebe's hair has two braids on each side that are being held together by what appears to be a hair pin, later on the scene where Phoebe is trying on a tiara she only has one braid on each side and no hair pins.
Correction: First, when Chandler's in the store Phoebe doesn't have two braids on the left side of her head - it's only one braid decorated with small colorful rhinestones, but she does have the two single braids on her right side, held together with a small silver hair clip. Second, while Chandler's gone Phoebe's been having fun trying on the store's jewelry - note all the necklaces, brooches, etc., and we see that one of those single braids has come loose so there's just one braid on that side now. But because it's been quite a while since Chandler had left the store, there's really no continuity issue.
The One With Joey's Fridge - S6-E19
Corrected entry: In Season 2 Episode 1 'TOW Ross' New Girlfriend' Joey is talking about how his tailor did his first pants when he was either 15 or 16. He wasn't sure and said 'When was 1990?' Indicating that he was 15 or 16 in 1990. In Season 6 Episode 19 'TOW Joey's Fridge' It was revealed that in 1981 Joey was 13. Which means that Joey was born in 1968. If Joey was born in 1968, then in 1990 he was 22.
Correction: He never says that in 1990 he was 16. He was asking when was 1990 to have a time reference, and then calculate when the event happened in relation to that.
The One With Ross's Teeth - S6-E8
Corrected entry: Monica says her boss doesn't like her. But, at her restaurant, Monica is the head chef.
Correction: She still has a boss, namely the owner and/or daily manager of the restaurant.
The One Where Paul's The Man - S6-E22
Corrected entry: When Paul is looking in the mirror and saying he's a sex machine, instead of looking at himself in the mirror, Paul is looking at the camera in the mirror. That's why his eyes in the mirror look to the front. This happens in many films and TV shows.
The One With The Ring - S6-E23
Corrected entry: When Phoebe accidentally allows Chandler's ring to be sold, she tells him that she overheard which restaurant the guy said he was taking his girlfriend to, so they can go find him and persuade him to exchange rings. However, in the previous scene we see that Phoebe was paying no attention at all to that guy - she was too busy trying on jewellery. She wasn't even within earshot of the guy, and we see from her reaction that she hadn't even noticed him at all before he left the store with the ring (during which time he doesn't say anything at all). (00:16:50)
Correction: She may have been trying on all the jewellery, but she would have certainly heard the guy say he was going to a certain restaurant with his girlfriend before he left. Obviously she then realised the ring the man bought was the one Chandler had his eye on so reacted.
The One With Ross's Denial - S6-E3
Corrected entry: In the scene where Rachel asks Phoebe if she can live with her Phoebe claims to have a roommate called Denise. However in a previous episode 'The one in Vegas part 1' Rachel and Phoebe are talking about walking around the apartment naked and Rachel says "you live on your own" to which Phoebe agrees saying "Yeah, why do you think it takes me so long to answer the door".
The One Where Chandler Can't Cry - S6-E14
Corrected entry: Phoebe says that she cried for three days after seeing Bambi, although on the 3rd day her mother killed herself so she was partly crying for that. Back in season 2: "The One Where Old Yeller Dies", she finds that her mother would never let her see the ending of sad movies so it seems unlikely that she would let her watch a film like Bambi.
Correction: Phoebe's mother was busy planning her suicide, so she wasn't really likely to be checking what films her children were watching.
Correction: The death of Bambi's mother happens quite a bit before the end, so Phoebe's mother may not have realised that that moment in the film happened so early on, and accidentally let her see it.
Corrected entry: At the very end when Joey breaks down the door, what looks like a stage curtain blows into the shot. (00:20:55)
Correction: That's not a curtain on the soundstage, it's actually the tablecloth on the side table - it's white with green pattern and trim. It's also visible earlier in the episode.
The One With Joey's Fridge - S6-E19
Corrected entry: When Rachel refuses the two guys she is offered, when she is about to storm out then asks the guy about his hair, the shot changes. Between these shots, Phoebe simply disappears from beside Monica and Chandler. (00:18:10)
The One Where Chandler Can't Cry - S6-E14
Corrected entry: When Chandler first reveals that he doesn't cry they are watching ET. The TV manages to turn off without anyone switching it off.
Correction: You can see Chandler turn off the tv.
The One That Could Have Been, part 1 - S6-E15
Corrected entry: When Rachael meets Ross at the magazine stand, Ross's "Busty Ladies" doesn't appear in his hand until Rachael points it out. At several points, both his hands are in view.
Correction: I have studied this scene very well and every time that Ross' hands are in view, you can see the magazine, "Busty Ladies", in his hands.
The One With The Proposal, part 2 - S6-E25
Corrected entry: Monica tells Richard "Where was this 3 years ago", implying that they broke up 3 years ago. However, they broke up 4 years before Chandler proposed.
Correction: Character mistake, it is easy to be a year off when you quickly have to have to judge the time frame.
The One Where Chandler Can't Cry - S6-E14
Corrected entry: In the scene where after Monica picks up the Chicken Soup for the Soul book, Chandler mentions their marriage. This is before Chandler proposes to Monica so how do they know they're getting married?
The One With The Apothecary Table - S6-E11
Corrected entry: The screen that Rachel bought at Pottery Barn moves when Ross, Rachel and Phoebe are talking. Sometimes the clock is covered and at others it is not.
Correction: The screen doesn't move, the camera angle changes from shot to shot which is why the clock is sometimes fully visible and sometimes only partially visible.
The One With Rachel's Sister - S6-E13
Corrected entry: When Rachel comes in to spy on Ross through Monica and Chandler's window we hear the shower water running and both Monica and Chandler are in the bathroom. However, Chandler comes out wearing a T-shirt under his robe (and he's wearing socks). This seems to assume that he is dry (as the T-shirt is dry too). Also we can see that Monica is wearing her nightdress under her robe when we see down to her feet, so how could one or both of them have been showering?
Correction: It could have been bathwater running, and they were not yet in the tub.
Corrected entry: Ross and Rachel both wake up with pen on their faces - the same pen from the episode before which nothing could remove. All well and good, except when they come down to breakfast there's no sign of any pen marks.
Correction: According to Martha Kauffman, Ross and Rachel were able to cover the pen marks with makeup at that point, as it had begun to wear off anyway.
That's just not right, though. The makeup stays on their faces all evening, and it's fully intact when they wake up the next morning. Then they go to breakfast and it's gone. An hour or two wouldn't have made the difference that 12+ hours didn't.
The One With Ross's Teeth - S6-E8
Corrected entry: In the scene where Joey is mad at Janine because of all the girlie things, he brings his towel from the bathroom and puts it on the counter, Janine picks it up, but in the next shot it is back on the counter.
The One Where Paul's The Man - S6-E22
Corrected entry: When Paul enters his bedroom and Ross is behind the door, Ross hesitates and then snakes under the bed while Paul is distracted. However, Paul is looking at the mirror in the corner, which faces back towards the door, so he should have seen Ross standing there.
The One With The Joke - S6-E12
Corrected entry: In TOW The Chicken Pox Monica says she always has to sleep on one side of the bed (the right, as we look at it). In TOW The Joke she is sleeping on the opposite side.
Correction: Denise was made up.
It doesn't make any sense that Denise was made up. Why? Because when Phoebe tells Rachel that her roommate Denise will be gone until December 26, and Rachel jokes, "maybe she's Santa Claus," look at Phoebe's face. She wouldn't react that way to a roommate that *she herself* made up.
