The One After 'I do' - S8-E1

Revealing mistake: In the one after Monica and Chandler get married, Chandler says he can't dance because his shoes are slippery. If you look closely, he managed to slip so much by standing on the bottom of Monica's dress, not because of the shoes. (00:06:00)

The One With Rachel's Date - S8-E5

Revealing mistake: In the scene in the coffee house, Phoebe is talking to Monica who is drinking a cup of coffee. Towards the end of the scene, the camera is on Phoebe who is smiling and laughing at Monica. In the right-hand corner is a side view of 'Monica'; however, it is not Courteney Cox in the scene but a completely different actress. [Widescreen version only, although the "wrong" nose is visible in the original]. (00:06:20)

The One In Massapequa - S8-E18

Revealing mistake: During Jack and Judy Geller's party, there are many shots where Elliott Gould's (Jack Geller) stand-in is perfectly visible. First, when Catherine walks over to offer congratulations to Rachel and Ross. Second, when Ross looks directly at his "dad" to ask if they have to pretend they're married. Then, numerous wide shots of "stand-in Jack" and Judy seated together in the background, such as after Rachel mentions the ring being the size of her fist, and during the toasts, etc. (00:06:00)

The One Where Emma Cries - S9-E2

Revealing mistake: When Emma starts crying and Rachel picks her up, look at how much the baby is moving when she takes it out of the cot. In the next shot it's suddenly only moving it's head, and very slowly at that. This is because it's a robot - and it's very obvious. (00:06:10)

The One With Rachel's Other Sister - S9-E8

Revealing mistake: When Chandler grabs his bag he accidentally lets the box full of wedding china fall off the stool. Watch closely (play in slow-motion). The box falls on the floor and shattered china falls out. The china was ALREADY broken before it falls on the ground. (00:23:00)

The One In Barbados, part 1 - S9-E23

Revealing mistake: On a number of occasions in this and the next episode, the beach and the water can be seen in the background, through hotel windows. White foam is visible in a number of places, like the crests of waves, but not only do they not move while the camera is on them, they are always in the same place in subsequent shots, revealing that this is a painted backdrop. The One In Barbados, part 2 - S9-E24

Revealing mistake: When Ross is talking to the weird obsessive scientist at the bar, just before the wife comes in, the wall behind the professor moves in shot to allow the cameraman room to swing around in the next shot. (00:40:20)

The One With the Sharks - S9-E4

Question: What's the name of the "scary painting" that Joey saw in the apartment of the girl he thought he'd slept with before? The strange and creepy painting (black and white, with an amorphous body and a chair). I really, really want to know who is the artist. Not Gladys - that's Phoebe's painting that comes out of the frame.

David Cañedo Mesinas

Answer: The painting doesn't have a name, and if it does it is never mentioned in this episode.
