Continuity mistake: After the flashback about the offer from Toho, Hyuga faces two defenders. One of them has short grey hair, but when Hyuga shoves him away he is bald. (00:20:15)

Revealing mistake: The opening reprises the last part of the previous episode, but Oda (Furano's 11) 's reaction to Hyuga that tackles him from behind (which would be a red card, incidentally) is different. For some reason the shot when he turns around is mirrored, so he turns to his right, but he is running facing left in the next shot. (00:01:45)

Continuity mistake: Four Furano players arrive in front of the penalty area after Hyuga's botched tackle. Meiwa's 2 and 6 are in front of them, but we see them face 2 and 5 instead. (00:09:30)
