Other mistake: When Meowth shifts his eyes from his book about the trophy to the trophy, he has five lines on his charm instead of four. (00:04:11)
Other mistake: When Team Rocket is running away with the trophy, James falls flat on the ground, and an indentation of his body as well as the trophy is made. The indentation shows a perfect match to the trophy, but James' arms were partially covering it, so there shouldn't be a perfect indent of the trophy in the ground. (00:05:18)
Continuity mistake: When Tracey wonders why everyone is outside the museum, the black straps on his bag turn orange, like the rest of the bag. (00:05:29)
Revealing mistake: As Ash, Misty, and Tracey are making their way through the crowd, Tracey clips through one of the people in it. (00:05:33)
Continuity mistake: When Tracey asks if Misty is coming with him and Ash, part of Misty's arms changes from skin-colour to yellow. (00:01:49)
Continuity mistake: When Misty steps on Tracey, Tracey's blue shoes turn black. (00:02:13)
Character mistake: Misty is notoriously afraid of bugs. She makes this clear whenever bugs are around. She seems to be OK with Tracey's Venonat, but for some reason doesn't think it should be classified as a bug, when its type is Bug/Poison, and it's quite obvious that "Venonat" comes from "venom gnat, " a gnat being an insect. She even directly states that "At least they're [Venonat and Marill] not Bug types." [This error doesn't happen in the Japanese version.]. (00:03:19)
Continuity mistake: When Ash throws a Poké Ball to catch Scyther, his bag disappears. (00:04:40)
Continuity mistake: When Lickitung runs into Victreebel, its pink eyebrows turn yellow. (00:17:15)
Continuity mistake: When Tracey recalls Scyther, the ring around the button on the Poké Ball disappears. (00:20:36)
Continuity mistake: When Team Rocket blasts off, Arbok's pattern changes from red with yellow centres to yellow with red centres. (00:19:03)
The Mandarin Island Miss-match - S2-E18
Continuity mistake: When Ash wins the match in the beginning, Tracey's orange bag turns green like Ash's. (00:01:12)
The Mandarin Island Miss-match - S2-E18
Revealing mistake: When Prima walks over to Ash and his friends, she is briefly layered between the table and Tracey. (00:03:06)
The Mandarin Island Miss-match - S2-E18
Character mistake: Prima tells Jynx to use Ice Beam, but she very obviously uses Ice Punch. [This is actually a result of mistranslation. In the Japanese version she orders Jynx to use Ice Punch.]. (00:18:50)
Continuity mistake: When Tracey says, "There'll be guards everywhere now," Misty is behind Ash, but in the next shot, she is not. (00:10:31)
The Pokémon Water War - S2-E25
Continuity mistake: When Ash says, "I know you're pretty tired Lapras; you deserve a rest," Tracey is not holding a map in front of him, but in the next shot, he is. (00:00:38)
The Pokémon Water War - S2-E25
Continuity mistake: When people are first running, Tracey has his head turned, but in the next shot, it is not. (00:01:07)
The Pokémon Water War - S2-E25
Plot hole: When Officer Jenny says why Captain Aidan needs to get Team Wartortle to the location of the final fire, she says that Team Blastoise's path is blocked by a lorry, and Team Squirtle is not powerful enough for the fire. This does not make sense for the former as Team Blastoise later pushes the same lorry aside. (00:13:41)
Plot hole: When Team Rocket decides that they're going to capture Dragonite after it's been worn out, they appear in the blimp above the battlefield no less than ten seconds after they were shown in the stands. There is just way too little time for them to have possibly gotten up there that fast, even allowing for anime physics. (00:14:30)
Plot hole: Officer Jenny asks Ash what he knows about the "trio" when he tells her that the pirates are likely Team Rocket, but he hadn't said anything about there being three of them before that. And Jenny obviously didn't know anything about Team Rocket, either. (00:05:30)
Answer: He is a good guy but just found himself in a bad situation when he worked for Lysander. He didn't want him to harm Ash and his Pokémon when he was trying to get the special bond between Ash and his Greninja to work. He does leave Lysander and go back to being a good person.
