Other mistake: Gene is chasing Ted Nolan, who is believed to have ties to a gang of cattle rustlers. Both men are on horseback. A long shot of Gene riding across a range is followed by a long shot of Ted riding across the same range so it appears Ted is chasing Gene instead of the other way around.

Green Acres (1965)
Plot hole: Oliver and Lisa are in a truck, taking a load of apples to the Farmers Market in the state capital. Oliver says it's a "15-hour drive." Driving 30 miles an hour, that would be 450 miles. Driving 40 miles an hour, that would be 600 miles. It was never specified where Green Acres is located but only Alaska, Texas and California extend for such a distance north-to-south and/or east-to-west.
Suggested correction: He doesn't say it's a 15-hour drive. He says it's a 15-hour trip, which could mean the drive there and back total 15 hours. Or he could be taking into account all the times they'll be stopping and traffic. Not to mention that the driving distance between two cities is always greater than as the crow flies. Two cities might be 100 miles apart but the drive may end up being 150 miles.

Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
Factual error: The piano was invented by Bartolomeo Cristofori in the year 1720, in the 18th century. Miranda recommends a "17th-century grand piano" for Stuart's bed-and-breakfast inn.
Suggested correction: Could this perhaps be more of a character mistake Miranda made that there's reason to believe her character wouldn't make? A lot of people out there confuse centuries and think the 1700s is the 17th century, but if there's a good point that Miranda, as a character, shouldn't have made this mistake, this would still be a character mistake as it shouldn't have been written that way for her in that case.
