Other mistake: Scrooge drops several gold coins into Mole's hat and places the hat on Mole's head. When Mole removes the hat, there are at least 40 coins but Rat exclaims, "Twenty gold sovereigns!" (00:00:22)

Continuity mistake: When Scrooge wakes on Christmas morning, he puts his foot through his hat. It has a huge hole in the top when he leaves home, but when he puts it on Tiny Tim's head, it's undamaged.
Marley: Ebenezer? Remember when I was alive I robbed from widows and swindled the poor?
Scrooge: Yes, and all in the same day. Oh, you had class, Jacob.
Marley: Ha-yuk, yup... Er, no, no! I was wrong. And so, as punishment, I'm forced to carry these heavy chains for eternity! Maybe even longer.
