Corrected entry: When everyone is chanting 'Frank the Tank' at Mitch's party, look at the bloke with the grey and yellow striped top on. He starts chanting too early, realises what he's done, then looks around and holds his breath until everyone else starts shouting.

Arlington Road (1999)
Corrected entry: When Jeff Bridges is researching Tim Robbins, he goes to the Kansas City Star as his source. The web page says the Star is the leading source of news in Kansas. However, the Kansas City Star is published in Kansas City, Missouri, not Kansas City, Kansas.
Correction: It may be published in KC Missouri, but it doesn't mean that the paper isn't read in Kansas. Where I live is a very small town, but we get newspapers from Vancouver, 300 miles away, and Calgary, 250 miles away, and in another province. Both are far better news sources than the weekly newspaper we have here.
I agree that it is totally plausible that the newspaper could be read in Kansas. However, I believe the original entry is pointing out that it is a little odd for a newspaper published in Missouri to state on its website that it is the best source of news in Kansas.
I agree the mistake seems valid and probably created by someone who doesn't know there are 2 different "Kansas City" cities. Just like there's probably a lot of people who don't know the Kansas City Chiefs play in Missouri. And a Calgary newspaper probably wouldn't say they're the leading source of news in British Columbia just because people from there might read their paper.

Inception (2010)
Character mistake: On the Shinkansen train, Cobb says, "I'm getting off in Kyoto." Not exactly wrong, but a moment afterwards they are in Tokyo and you see the Tokyo skyline.
Suggested correction: Yes. He gets off at Kyoto and says "every man for himself." Perhaps this stage of the plan was for him and Arthur to split up to avoid a tail (we do see later that he is being tailed). But regardless of the reason, we see that it is daylight when he leaves the group to get off at Kyoto. Plenty of time for him to be in Tokyo by nightfall.

Cliffhanger (1993)
Corrected entry: When Gabe is trying to stop the girl from falling, Frank is rather obviously smiling and when she actually falls, he's laughing.
Correction: He is not laughing. He is wincing.
No, he is quite obviously laughing and smiling. In fact, watching the scene again, once Sarah's mechanism breaks, there is hardly a shot where he is not smiling.

Along Came Polly (2004)
Corrected entry: When Reuben and his friend are playing basketball right before the scene changes you see Kevin Hart holding a boom mic and someone else holding a camera.
Correction: Well, yes! Kevin Hart is part of a camera crew that Sandy hired to make a documentary about himself. This is made rather clear in the movie, and the camera crew is blatantly visible in a few scenes.

Back to the Future (1985)
Corrected entry: Between scenes Marty's shoes change, e.g. in the skateboard chase scene he is wearing black converse shoes, but when he is in the time machine travelling back to 1985 he is wearing white Nike trainers.
Correction: Not a mistake. After Marty says "Yeah, I can spend a week in 1955." Doc says "first, we have to get you out of those clothes" - this is so Marty blended in with current fashions of the 50's. When Marty is going back to 1985, he claims that he isn't going back in his 50's clothes - "you think I'm going back in those clothes?.", or something to that effect. It was all done to make Marty less suspicious to the people around him.

Snatch (2000)
Other mistake: When Tyrone gets into the car, he accidentally bumps heads with Vincent, who is sitting in the back seat. Robbie Gee's look of surprise is undoubtedly genuine.
Suggested correction: While I agree that this was likely unscripted, if we are just looking within the world of the movie, Tyrone just accidentally bumps Vincent, and Vincent reacts like most people would.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Trivia: This is the first Batman film in which Bruce Wayne does not appear in a tuxedo.
Suggested correction: He does; he is wearing one during the restaurant scene.
No, he's wearing a regular suit in the restaurant scene, if you're talking about the one where he and his ballerina date sit down with Harvey and Rachel.
I don't know what you think the definition of a tuxedo is, but it's equivalent to a dress suit or dinner suit (or even black tie). So basically, dress shirt, dress shoes, trousers and a jacket.
There's a distinction between a tuxedo and a suit, and what Bruce is wearing isn't a tuxedo. There's also a difference between a dress suit and a dinner suit, also known as a black tie, so dress suits and dinner suits are not equivalent. What British refer to as a dinner suit is what Americans refer to as a tuxedo. Wearing a suit at dinner or a black tie doesn't make it a tuxedo.
So what makes a tuxedo?
The type of jacket and pants (or trousers), and often the shirt, shoes and accessories. Satin on the jacket lapel and side of the pants and pants without belt loops. Usually a tux comes with a pleated shirt with studs instead of buttons. Often you wear a bow tie and cummerbund, but it's not necessary. A casual or dress suit is made out of all the same material with acrylic and uncovered buttons.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Trivia: A subtle but very significant tidbit when the Joker is tempting Harvey Dent into shooting him at the hospital: if you look closely at how he (the Joker) has his hands around the gun you'll notice he's actually holding the hammer back, meaning even if Harvey had tried to kill him the gun wouldn't be able to fire. Might first seem a bit hypocritical of the one who talks a great deal about chaos and the fairness thereof, but it actually ties nicely in with the Joker's whole character: he's showing Dent that choice is an illusion, because in this case there isn't one.
Suggested correction: No, the Joker definitely wanted Harvey to kill him. That would have completed his plan in knocking Harvey all the way down and making his fall to villainy complete. Even when his finger is on the hammer, it is more resting on it than it is preventing the hammer from firing. At one point, he even takes his finger off the hammer to point at Harvey.

Sin City (2005)
Continuity mistake: When Jackie Boy is picking up his gun after having his hand cut off, all the carnage and blood that occurred behind him (Miho slicing up his buddies) almost entirely disappears. The only sign of it happening is the body of the decapitated man in one shot. Then everything seems to disappear for several minutes.
Suggested correction: The car is definitely visible in a couple of shots, and remember three of the guys did not make it out of the car before they were killed.

Wrath of Man (2021)
Plot hole: In a heist that started with 7 men, they only thought to acquire 2 quad bikes for part of their getaway, fortunately only 2 men reached that stage of the plan. (01:44:44)
Suggested correction: My understanding is that two guys were supposed to load the quads with the cash, then load the cash into the Prius and those two guys take off from there. We hear this being recited in the planning stages, which is being shown to us as the action is unfolding. He then says that anyone remaining is to take the pickup truck. They would have wanted to get the cash off site ASAP, so the plan was likely that the remaining guys get to the pickup truck on foot.

The Way Way Back (2013)
Continuity mistake: In the first scene, Duncan is sitting to the right side (if we are looking at him) of the back seat of the station wagon. When they are taking the luggage out of the car, there are now bags piled up in the seat on the right side.
Suggested correction: Absolutely no telling how much time has passed between the two scenes. With them being on a road trip, they could have stopped for gas, food, bathroom breaks etc and moved the bags around at any time. Even Duncan could have just done it by himself mid-transit to make a little more room on the floor for his feet.

Back to the Future Part II (1989)
Corrected entry: When Marty goes to the new 1985 and goes into the house he thinks is his, a Dirty Dancing poster can be seen on the girl's bedroom wall. Dirty Dancing was not released until 1987.
Correction: Just watched this scene looking for the Dirty Dancing poster. I see about 4 different Michael Jackson posters, but no Dirty Dancing poster.
Correction: This is a very altered version of 1985, so it doesn't have to conform to the original timestream. For instance, Biff may now be responsible for providing the funding that gets the movie made earlier.

A Few Good Men (1992)
Character mistake: During the trial, Danny says Lt. Col. Markinson shot himself in the mouth with a .45, but in the suicide scene, Markinson's gun is a Beretta 9mm, the standard-issue U.S. Military sidearm.
Suggested correction: It's likely Danny never knew the model of the gun that Markinson used. His point was to tell everyone (mainly the jury) that Markinson had committed suicide by shooting himself. Danny mentioning the model of the gun was not his point, he just did that for added effect.

Breaking Bad (2008)
Corrected entry: In the famous mugshot of Walter against a height chart, the chart goes up in nice 2 inch increments until 5'8." It then jumps to 6'0", completely skipping 5'10". Did they forget there are 12 inches in a foot, not 10?
Correction: This picture was never used in the show. This looks to be fan-made. Regardless, this picture was never seen in any episode of Breaking Bad, so it is not a valid mistake.
If the picture was used as a promo shot by the production team then it could be considered a mistake. If it's fan-made then the correction seems to be valid. Does anyone know the source of the image?
I can't find a source, but I don't recall ever seeing it in the show or in any ads, and in all honesty, it's pretty low-quality, so I seriously doubt it's a real production or promotional image. (The masking around his ears is quite bad, the "bruises" are digitally painted on - and poorly so at that, etc.) I would be willing to bet money on it being fan-made.

Up in the Air (2009)
Other mistake: When Ryan and Alex are first together in the hotel room, there is a gratuitous nude view of her getting on the bed. The body double used for this couldn't be more than 21, and her appearance is quite at odds with the character, who is pushing 40.
Suggested correction: This is pure opinion. Yes, it has been said that a body double was used in this scene. But within the world of the movie, there's no reason that can't be Alex. She reveals later that she's 34, and many women look absolutely splendid at that age. We see her partially nude in the very next shot, with no big discrepancy from what we saw from behind. It wasn't until after several viewings of this movie that I found out that this was a double, and even now that I know, it's still not obvious at all.

Con Air (1997)
Corrected entry: Still before the hijacking, Pinball is talking to his left neighbor, sitting in the same row. In one shot, from the left, they both sit next to each other, in the same row. In a shot thereafter, Pinball has his head turned left and is talking to his "neighbor", but there is nobody. The guy sits in the row behind. (00:18:40)
Correction: I see what you see, but look again. When the shot changes, the angle kind of does give the impression that Pinball is talking to an empty seat. The perspective makes it seem like the headrest is next to Pinball, but it isn't. The headrest is from the row in front of them, which is empty. Pinball and his neighbor are in the same row in all shots.

Con Air (1997)
Corrected entry: When the villains have made their lousy landing at the airfield and the police are coming, Cyrus opens a box with shotguns and throws one to his fellow convicts. The next scene shows the convict catching the gun, and it has somehow turned into an M-16.
Correction: There were three different boxes. One (the one Cyrus opened) contained the shotguns, behind him was another box that contained the M-16's, and the third box on the left (the one Diamond Dogg opens) contained the grenade launchers that were used to blow up the propane tanks.
While this is true that the crates carry different weapons, the original mistake is pointing out how Cyrus picks up a shotgun, tosses it to Swamp Thing, but the weapon Swamp Thing catches is an assault rifle. This is a valid mistake.

Con Air (1997)
Corrected entry: When Johnny tries to rape the female guard, Poe comes to the rescue and knocks him out. Poe then handcuffs him to an overhead rail with both hands in the cuffs over the rail. Yet after the crash, while the police are doing clean-up, they drag away Johnny leaving one arm hanging off, as if Poe put only one of his hands in the cuffs, and one cuff on the overhead rail. Even with one arm severed, they couldn't naturally have got out of that position without the severed arm going over the rail, in which case it would be lying on the floor with the rest of him.
Correction: We don't see Johnny the whole time from the cuffing till the crash. There would have been enough time for somebody, even Poe, to uncuff one arm so that Johnny could be better prepared for the imminent crash.

Revealing mistake: When Pinballs is squeezed in between the landing-gear door and the fuselage/landing-gear, you can see in the face that it's a dummy. (00:53:35)
Suggested correction: That absolutely looks like Dave Chappelle and not a dummy.

Correction: I mean sure I see what you're pointing out here, but within the context of the scene, this just seems like one of the partygoers trying to get the chant started. This is usually how it goes with chants at parties, sporting events, etc. There's always a few people that are just a little off, and it just takes them a second to get in sync with everyone else.
