Factual error: Adam kicks the wheel chock from the pickup truck, and it starts to roll back. Based on the ease and speed of the truck rolling, the chock would have been firmly stuck against the tire and would not have moved when Adam kicked it.

Factual error: Bessie says she was going to study veterinary medicine at Texas A and M. That would have been approximately 1940. Neither women nor people of colour were admitted to TAMU until 1963 so she could not have even been able to apply.

Factual error: Hazel comes to wake Al and says it is 5:00 am. The sun coming through the windows shows it is at least 30 minutes past sunrise. They are in Columbus, Ohio, where the sun never rises at 4:30.

Factual error: Hunt gets out of a limo to visit Lauda at an airport. It takes place in 1977, but the limo is a Lincoln that was not produced until 1980. (01:47:30)

Columbo and the Murder of a Rock Star - S10-E3

Factual error: Champagne corks have a metal cap between the cork and the wire cage. (They can be seen when both Creighton and Columbo open bottles.) When Creighton injects the chloral hydrate into the champagne, he does not have the difficulty he should have getting through the metal. The needle does not come out damaged as it should, and it did not go far enough into the cork to put the liquid into the champagne-it would get lost in the cork itself.

Factual error: When Mollie is scaring Ken in the station wagon, they pass a red Chrysler 300 twice (tip of the hat to the chase scene in Bullitt). The Chrysler is a 1965 model, and the scene takes place in 1964.
