Factual error: When they are trying to navigate the shuttle through Eadu, the shuttle abruptly collides with a rock, which causes Bodhi to jolt backwards. If the shuttle hitting the rock had caused the shuttle reduce speed so abruptly, in the way that was shown, then Bodhi would have jolted forwards, not backwards. (00:57:05)

Once the stone hits the target, debris from the impact can be seen flying off the target showing that it has been destroyed, but as the dust clears, the target is virtually intact.

Factual error: In the flashback of Cartman watching the Ghostbusters remake, there is a list of times for other movies playing at the theatre shown in the ticket booth. The movies listed are The Accountant, Ghostbusters, The Girl on the Train and Kevin Hart: What Now? The flashback is supposed to take place in the summer, around the time the Ghostbusters remake was released. The Ghostbusters remake was released in the US in July 2016, however the movies, The Accountant, The Girl on the Train and Kevin Hart: What Now? were not released in the US until October 2016, almost three months apart from each other.

Factual error: Roman is searching through the shot-down vending machine after the massive chase. Two of the products shown in the machine are a couple of Nestle 100 Grand bars and a couple of Nestle Butterfingers bars. This scene takes place in the UK - 100 Grand bars and Butterfingers bars aren't available in vending machines in the UK, just specialist sweet shops. (00:34:10)

Men in Black 3 (2012)

Factual error: Just after Griffin finishes telling J and K that the Boglodites destroyed his planet, Boris appears on his motorcycle and snatches Griffin. J, K nor Griffin didn't see this coming whatsoever, until Boris appears. The main problem with this is that motorcycles have very loud engines, so whilst J, K and Griffin may not have seen Boris as they weren't looking at him, at least one of them should have definitely heard the sound of the loud engine coming from Boris' motorcycle. Plus, the sound from the game that Griffin was foreseeing wasn't even that loud so the cheering from the audience certainly wouldn't have intervened with anything. (01:09:00)

Gravity (2013)

Factual error: Ryan states to Matt that her O2 pressure is low (which is the oxygen in her suit) just as they are about to reach the International Space Station and Matt points out she still has oxygen in her suit. Then as Ryan and Matt launch themselves onto the International Space Station, Ryan keeps panicking, hyperventilating and breathing heavily for the next few minutes and eventually she runs out of O2 as she starts to climb into the station. If Ryan only had CO2 in her suit and she had been heavily breathing for that long, she would definitely have run out of oxygen within a minute, she would never have gone this long without it. Factual error: Baxter Building: The position of the lock on the park gate outside Baxter Building is in a completely impossible position. The key hole part of the lock is located inside the interior of the park instead of the exterior where the gate is usually locked from. There is no reason the key hole part of the lock should be located inside the park.

Factual error: At Eagle's Nest, Victoria removes a bullet from Frank's arm and drops it in a glass of water. After this point, the blood on the bullet doesn't seem to make the water change color. Even if it's vodka, the liquid should still go partly red. (00:57:50)

Red (2010)

Factual error: In the very first shot of the movie, a clock is shown ticking. The time on the clock reads 05:59:56. It is obviously AM because a few seconds later at 06:00:00, Frank wakes up as if it was morning. As Frank sits up, clear daylight is visible outside of the window. This scene is supposed to be set during winter. We know this because there are many Christmas decorations. Since this is meant to be winter, it should still be dark at that time of day. (00:00:40)

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: At the beginning of the movie it's September or early October if latest in the year. At Cleveland's latitude there's enough sunlight at 6am to experience such lighting through a window facing south.

First, what in the film places the opening scene in Sept or Oct? There's too much snow on the ground for it to be either of those months (it doesn't snow in September and rarely in October, but only late October). Second, even if it was set in October, the sun doesn't rise until around 7:30AM or 8:00AM.

Bishop73

I disagree. I think what Bishop73 wrote above is correct. The opening scene at 6:00 AM showed daylight, which would be too early for October, November, and December in Ohio. The movie apparently begins in December based on the amount of Christmas decorations in the neighborhood. Sunrise might be between 7:30 - 8:00 AM and twilight is about 30 minutes prior to sunrise. It simply would not be that light out at 6:00 AM.

Factual error: When the moon is regrowing, it destroys the ship (which is pushing it further into the sky), yet the moon is still pushed into the sky anyway, even though there isn't anything to push it. Even if only the cockpit was destroyed and the rocket's engine was still there, it still wouldn't have been strong enough to push the moon into orbit anyway.
