Corrected entry: The flier for the SPAT meeting says it's on Friday at 2pm. You'd think if they wanted as many single parents as possible to attend (people who would almost invariably have to work, or at least be looking for work) they'd make the meeting in the evening, or on the weekend.

I Love Lucy (1951)
Corrected entry: In the "audience" in many different episodes over multiple seasons, you can hear a woman say "Uh oh," followed by short little laugh. It sounds exactly the same every time - obviously a sound effect.
Correction: The uh oh heard was Lucille Ball's mother who attended the taping of every single episode.

D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994)
Corrected entry: Right before the Icelandic player hits Banks' arm with his stick, you can see the actor playing Banks stretch his arm out in front of him for no other reason than to get into position to be hit.
Correction: Banks was actually stretching his arm out to tap the top of the goal with his stick. He was taunting the goalie about the goal he just scored.
Yeah but you gotta admit he left his arm outstretched for an extra long time.
That's an individual choice when it comes to taunting. Some folks, when they taunt, it's very brief and they stop quickly afterwards. Others do it for a long period of time until something makes them stop. This is speaking from personal family experience, where I had one sibling who would taunt quickly by flicking your head for one second; the other one would hold their hand by the back of your head what seemed like forever, making you wonder if they were going to flick it or if they were teasing.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991)
Corrected entry: When Robin and John are fighting in the river, John has his stick under Robin's, and forces it around in a 360 degree motion twice - once in the wide shot, and immediately again in the closeup.
Correction: It is very likely that John made the circular move twice in a row. There is no reason to assume he did it only once.

The Wizard of Oz (1939)
Corrected entry: Before Dorothy goes home, she says a long and tearful goodbye to the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion. But originally she was going to fly off in a balloon with the Wizard, and just happened to jump out of the basket at the last second. Wouldn't she have already said her goodbyes before that? (Not that she wouldn't have said goodbye again, but the second time would have sounded a little different.)

Tombstone (1993)
Corrected entry: After the shootout at the OK Corral, there's a shot of a bell tolling. But the sound of the tolls is out of sync with the movement of the bell.
Correction: If you've ever actually watched a large bell tolling, you would see that the sound resonates while the bell is swinging back the other way. So, there is no audio mistake here.

Father of the Bride (1991)
Corrected entry: Either a mistake, or Nina Banks is really delusional: She specifically states that they don't own any fancy cars, but George drives (I think) a Porsche. If that's not a fancy car, I don't know what she thinks is.
Correction: The car is not a Porsche - it's an Austin Healey 3000.

Private Parts (1997)
Corrected entry: In a scene that takes place in 1979, a woman takes off her dress to reveal that she's wearing a thong. But thongs weren't worn as underwear by American women until the 1990's.
Correction: Thongs did exist in the late 70s, but were more associated with adult entertainments (e.g. strip clubs, adult movies) at the time. As the woman in question is a porn actress, she may be used to wearing them all the time.

The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999)
Corrected entry: The scene where Joan witnesses her sister's rape and murder is a complete fabrication. This never happened to Catherine d'Arc, let alone in front of Joan.
Correction: This is not a documentary and it is unnecessary for the story to follow historical facts.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991)
Corrected entry: When the sheriff's men are robbing a church, they post a "wanted" sign for Robin Hood. From the front the sign looks fine, but from the side it looks very shiny, like it's laminated.

Primal Fear (1996)
Corrected entry: If there in fact never was a quiet and submissive "Aaron," only an aggressive and angry "Roy," then how was he sexually abused for so long? It's hard to believe that someone as clever and forceful as Roy would allow himself to be humiliated like that, over and over.
Correction: First of all we don't know when exactly "Roy" changed into that very aggressive person we came to see in the movie. He met the bishop when he was younger, and might have been a very differently behaved person then. People do change as they get older! Also he didn't only want to kill his abuser, he wanted to get out of the entire story alive and without spending years and years in jail, so he needed a good plan and usually good plans need a good timing and thus there was a reason to wait.

The Neverending Story (1984)
Corrected entry: Sometimes it sounds like Atreyu has an English accent, and other times he sounds American.
Correction: An individual's perception of fluctuations in someone's voice does not constitute an error in a movie unless it was specifically stated that the character was supposed to have a specific accent.

Speed (1994)
Corrected entry: A bus would never, ever be able to maintain a speed of 50 mph on the secondary streets of Los Angeles in the middle of the day, for any significant length of time, without smashing into hundreds of other cars (in which case, it would probably drop below 50 and explode anyway.)
Correction: It does smash into several cars at the beginning, but eventually gets a police escort allowing the bus to move more freely without endangering pedestrians and causing more damage to cars etc.

La Bamba (1987)
Corrected entry: When Ritchie is playing in the restaurant, his mother takes a big drink from a glass. But a moment later, the glass is nowhere to be seen.
Correction: The glass is actually a hidden a little behind her chair and remains there for the 3 or 4 shots of her before she gets up to dance.

Thelma and Louise (1991)
Corrected entry: Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis were both nominated for Oscars for this film.
Correction: How can something that was reported in every newspaper (and on every television news programme) in the world possibly be 'trivia'?

Amadeus (1984)
Corrected entry: Lorl the maidservant is played by a teenage Cynthia Nixon, from "Sex and the City."
Correction: Not exactly trivia, since she's listed in the cast.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966)
Corrected entry: At the beginning the Grinch is looking down on Whoville and drumming all his fingers. But when it cuts to another angle, he's suddenly only tapping one of them.
Correction: It doesn't take a minute to go from drumming all fingers to just tapping one of them. They wouldn't need to change scenes for that.
The Grinch is tapping all of his fingers as he looks down at Whoville; then, immediately in the next shot, he's just tapping his index finger. It might not take long for someone to go from tapping all their fingers to just one of them, but we don't see the Grinch adjusting his fingers at all between shots; he just goes from tapping all his fingers to just one finger instantly. I'd say this is a valid mistake.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966)
Corrected entry: At the end of the story the Grinch has blue eyes except for one shot - when he becomes shocked seeing the sled full of Christmas things begin to slide off the mountain - where they're momentarily red again.
Correction: This is not a mistake, it is done deliberately. It could be because of the stress/shock of losing the sleigh.

Coal Miner's Daughter (1980)
Corrected entry: Both Sissy Spacek and Beverly d'Angelo did all their own singing.
Correction: In the credits, at the end of the movie, it sites that only Sissy Spacek did her own singing.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966)
Corrected entry: The Grinch has red eyes until he has a change of heart. Then they turn blue and remain that way for the rest of the story.
Correction: This isn't trivia, but one of the main plot points showing the Grinch's change of heart.
