Corrected entry: When Madison falls through the stage floor she breaks a pipe and her pistol ignites a flame. I'm guessing this must have been a natural gas pipe, which if broken leaves no regulation of the natural gas flow, therefore the explosion would have taken out the entire stage not just sent a little flame coming up through the hole in the stage. Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003)
Corrected entry: When Lloyd is getting ready for school he is dancing in the halls, showering in the science class, goofing off in the cafeteria and looting the lost and found for clothes. There is no one in the school. You can see light outside and he runs off to hurry up and catch his bus. Don't you think teachers/staff would already be in the building?
Correction: This is an assumption and not an error. In the beginning Lloyd's dad says "school's gonna open up soon" and we don't know how long he spent goofing off, so the school still could have been closed. Additionally, just because we don't see anyone doesn't mean they're not there. It's possible they're all aware of Lloyd and just let him be.

Elektra (2005)
Corrected entry: Early in the movie Elektra is cleaning the floor to "remove her DNA". If she is/was dead why would she be concerned about DNA. The police would match the DNA to a deceased suspect and begin looking elsewhere for suspect DNA.
Correction: She just tells McCabe that it's to get rid of her DNA. The real reason is because she has OCD. That's why later in the movie she lies all of her toiletries and her food out in a certain order and why she counts her steps. It's one of the things she initially bonds with Abby over.

Escape From L.A. (1996)
Corrected entry: When Snake shoots the surgeon general with the dart there are two reasons why that wouldn't work - 1) There isn't any muscle tissue and the skin is too thin for the dart to stick most likely. 2) The tranquilizer would never take effect that quick unless it was injected into a muscle where the blood supply is greater. Intramuscular is the preferred method for fast-acting injections. (00:41:55)
Correction: This is a future society, where technology has move forward (the guns, computer tablets, micro-discs...) so it's very feasible that a fast-acting drug has been created.

Escape From L.A. (1996)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Snake "surfs" onto the Caddy right before Eddy stops the car you see that the left taillight lens is broken (bright white light). But after Snake gets in the driver's seat and takes off the light is red again. (01:09:10)
Correction: There are 2 tail lights on each fin of the car. The left side, inner light, is the bright one - brighter than the other 3. But whether it's actually broken, or maybe a standard bulb was replaced with a brighter one, it is the same in both shots - broken or not.

8 Mile (2002)
Corrected entry: It doesn't take 2 guys pushing buttons to make the press operate. OSHA establishes that a light beam be placed so that if anyone/thing tries to enter an unshielded area on a press it breaks the light beam and the press stops immediately, like an automatic E-stop. The press would never operate while someone is in the die pulling the part out so there would be no need for dual controls.
Correction: You're not obligated to use a light curtain though. If the company didn't want to spend the money to install light curtains on old presses, then they do need the system with 2 buttons for each operator to cycle the press. (or a gate with a door switch on it). If you look at the scene, there isn't a light curtain or gate installed on the press, so both operators have to go to their pedestals out of reach of the pinch points and press all 4 buttons for the press to cycle.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003)
Corrected entry: When the guy goes to tell the president "it's not safe here anymore" he calls him "El Presidente" which means "the president". Shouldn't he have said "Senior Presidente" (Mr. President)? (01:20:05)
Correction: In Mexico, the president is addressed as "El Presidente." The American president is called "Mr. President."

Final Destination 3 (2006)
Corrected entry: At the tricentennial, Wendy, Kevin and Julie are right in front of Julie's friend that gets speared resulting in them being spattered with blood; but when they are talking about Ian causing Wendy's death, they have no blood on them or their clothes.
Correction: Kevin had already left to check on the horse, so only Wendy and Julie were splattered with blood. Throughout the scene, the blood can clearly be seen on both their clothes and their faces.

Daredevil (2003)
Corrected entry: I think that OSHA would really love to find the building with the window washer baskets. All of the baskets seem to fall apart when Double D lands on them. They'd make a fortune in fines.
Correction: Not every company keeps their equipment in proper, safe conditions. It's hardly a movie mistake if a company is too lazy to make inspections on their units.

Final Destination (2000)
Corrected entry: When the woman teacher is lying with the knife in her chest, Alex comes around the corner and she looks at him. There is barely any blood on her neck at that point despite it spurting in earlier shots.
Correction: Her neck is covered in blood in all of the shots.

Hard Rain (1998)
Corrected entry: In the scene where the guy gets electrocuted on the antenna, this would not happen. 1)The power would have shorted out long before the water got to the transformer 2) the guy would not have gotten shocked even if the water was electrified because he was not grounded. The water would have taken the electricity to the true earth ground immediately as electricity ALWAYS takes the past of least resistance.
Correction: The first part should be true, however the second part is completely wrong. Because of such high electricity levels, it would get dispersed in all directions, and as for not being grounded he was holding onto a giant piece of metal; metal has more conductivity than true ground, and would be connected to a ground at its base anyways.

XXX: State of the Union (2005)
Corrected entry: At one point chasing the train the speedo in the Cobra shows Stone running 140-160 and he tells Lola he hit 220-225 (meaning miles per hour). If this is correct the Blackhawk would never have caught up to or kept up with the train given the lead time between X taking off and the Blackhawk taking off. The official specs on the UH-60 Blackhawk claim a top speed of 184 miles/hour.
Correction: He is shown driving 140-160 as an average. His top speed was 220-225, but he did not stay at that speed for long. He would have had to slow down at points along the way, probably well under 100 mph. This would be like a police car catching a Ferrari, which has a higher top speed. The reason a police car can catch a Ferrari is that neither car can sustain high speeds indefinitely, and would have to slow down at times, allowing the pursuing vehicle to catch up. Additionally, specs on miltary vehicles are almost always understated. I was on a nuclear submarine which had a claimed top speed much lower than it was capable of.
Correction: Additionally the helicopters are not limited to whatever geometry the fixed tracks have.

Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003)
Corrected entry: How did Lewis get a black eye when he had that big foam pirate head on?
Correction: It's quite possible he got the black eye from someone else, or possibly he took the pirate hat off while running away and tripped an fell - there's nothing to say that it was Lloyd that gave him the black eye.

Bad Boys II (2003)
Corrected entry: After Syd smashes her way out of the pile-up and gets moving again there is about 20 seconds before the Haitians steal the semi but on the freeway they are right on her bumper. Fast semi.
Correction: The 4x4 was probably heavily damaged in the shootout/ramming, and therefore it's safe to assume it could not work to it's full potential. Also, take a look at the route to the motorway. The lorry is able to smash through the water barrels, where Syd decided not to. There also appears to be a lot of traffic, so Syd would have to slow down. Generally, people wouldn't move aside for a 4x4. If you have a loaded lorry with gunmen on it barrelling towards your rear at 80mph the sensible thing to do would be to move out of the way. Finally, most lorries nowadays are capable of reaching 100mph. I'd say the max speed of an undamaged GMC was around 120 (it may be lower), and so it doesn't provide that much of a difference between the top speeds.

Final Destination 3 (2006)
Corrected entry: In the final scene when Wendy is starting to have another premonition she is on train 081. She looks out the window and sees a reflection of the train in the mirror that reads 180, the flight number from FD1. (01:46:05)
Correction: This isn't trivia at all, but quite an important aspect of the FD movies. Wendy points out the appearance of "180" in one of her pictures early on in the film, and the train scene is set up in such a way that it's almost impossible to miss the Flight 180 reference.

Top Gun (1986)
Corrected entry: In the opening dog fight scene (which took all of a couple minutes) they go from bright sun (Cougar loses his bogey in the sun) to being almost night time when Mav attempts to land on the carrier the first time.
Correction: Two things: When an aircraft is at altitude, it will be brighter longer than down on sea level. Second, we don't know how long it took to fly back after the dog fight. If it was late afternoon for the dog fight, it could very well be getting dark on the return trip.

A Thin Line Between Love and Hate (1996)
Corrected entry: When Martin's sister is wearing her military uniform, there is no nametag, no ribbons and no career identifier. At a MINIMUM she should have a nametag on her "blues" shirt, but when you are wearing "tabs" (the dark blue thing under her collar) you are required to wear ribbons and identifier. It is the same when men wear their tie.
Correction: The girl wearing the uniform is not Martin's sister, but his childhood girlfriend.

Final Destination 3 (2006)
Corrected entry: When the Hice beer truck pulls out and passes Kevin's truck the liftgate is straight up at a 90 degree angle, but when it backs up to the gate is tilted down like 10-15 degrees. These gates are not operated from inside the cab. (00:46:10 - 00:46:55)
Correction: This movie depicts "death" manipulating objects to accomplish it's plan. "Death" could have lowered the gate from the outside without the driver noticing.

Correction: The gas line would not explode because natural gas only runs at a pressure of 14 PSI, but that pressure would still be enough to keep gas constantly flowing out of the pipe into the fire. Therefore, it would act more like a flamethrower, and less like a bomb, because the gas wouldn't be able to suck back into the pipe unless the pressure were to drop.
