Trivia: In one scene, Gibbs tells Rabb that, as an NCIS special agent, he isn't required to offer Rabb any military courtesy. This is actually true: NCIS is the only military investigative agency staffed entirely with civilians, so there is no official chain of command they are required to follow.

Trivia: In one scene, Callen mentions that he was shot on May 5th. This is actually the airdate of "Legend: Part 2", the NCIS crossover episode in which Callen's shooting happened.

Trivia: The manner in which Agent Lee is killed was how Jenny was originally scripted to die at the end of season 5.

Trivia: Since the two-part episode "Legend" is also technically part of NCIS: Los Angeles canon, it makes Gibbs, Tony, Abby, and Ducky the only characters who have appeared on the two NCIS shows and its parent series JAG. Abby is the only one who also appears in a stand-alone NCIS: LA episode.

Trivia: In the XBOX 360 version, a note at the end of the credits reads "No pitchers were harmed in the making of this game. Except for one. Joel Zumaya. He had it coming." Zumaya had actually injured himself playing Guitar Hero, and ended up unable to play in the 2006 American League Championship Series.
