Corrected entry: In the scene where Mongo gives a horse a roundhouse hook, you can see that the stuntman on horseback chokes up on the right rein just before Alex Karras swings, and jerk the rein just before Karras makes contact.

Blazing Saddles (1974)
Corrected entry: On the DVD in the shot where Mongo punches out the horse, the microphone is visible in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Correction: I"ve checked carefully and I can't see it.

Goldfinger (1964)
Corrected entry: After Goldfinger has lost the card game, Bond is looking at his face in the binocular. We see Goldfingers' hands when he snaps the pencil. How did Bond know to turn the binocular from Goldfinger's face to his hands in that exact second?
Correction: Artistic licence, not a mistake.

Apollo 13 (1995)
Corrected entry: When the astronauts are preparing to dock with the Lunar Module, one of the people in Mission Control says, "If Swigert can't dock this thing, we don't have a mission." In fact, all three crew members were trained to peform the LEM docking, and had Swigert run into any trouble, Lovell or Haise could easily have done the procedure instead. This is confirmed in the DVD commentary.
Correction: Presumably Swigert is the best trained since this is his primary task, it's a reasonable, if not necessarily correct, remark to assume that if he can't do it then nobody can.
Someone in mission control says it in a voiceover that seems like it was added for exposition to build tension for the audience related to the "Jack is new to the mission" subplot. The idea that someone in mission control would be unaware of the cross-training of the astronauts to handle each others' tasks in an emergency is a dubious claim at best. And Lovell had served as the CMP on Apollo 8 (which admittedly didn't have a LM to dock with, but he was certainly familiar with how to fly and dock the craft).

Shanghai Knights (2003)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Chon is fighting in the library, he holds up numerous books as shields. The man's sword does not pierce the covers of the last two books, in fact it bends slightly. But Chon discards the books and grabs a new one each time.
Correction: Not a mistake. He can't pause between sword thrusts to check the integrity of each book.

Shanghai Knights (2003)
Corrected entry: Chon Wang and Rathbone's swords simply vanish before they fall out of the clocktower.
Correction: They had already dropped their swords since they needed their hands to hold onto the platform.

Police Story (1985)
Corrected entry: China was still under Communist rule in 1985. How could Chan have sworn on the Bible in the court hearing?
Correction: The story takes place in Hong Kong which was still under British rule in 1985.

The Shining (1980)
Corrected entry: The shot of Dick Hallorann in the jet is not right. If you look at the drink in front of the woman sitting next to him it's motionless. Anyone who has flown in an airplane knows that any liquid in an open glass vibrates. (01:36:05)
Correction: Nonsense, I've flown in many many airplanes and that isn't always the case.

The One After Joey And Rachel Kiss - S10-E1
Corrected entry: When Ross walks into Monica and Chandler's hotel room, he is packed much earlier than both Monica and Chandler. However, in the episode after Monica and Chandler get married, Ross only signs out of the hotel a few minutes before check-out time. This is also implied by other characters who say that he does that all the time.
Correction: Being packed doesn't mean he will check out immediately.

Spy Game (2001)
Corrected entry: In one scene Brad Pitt's character has a silver and black Leica camera around his neck. Then the camera changes to an all black Leica. Then the camera changes to an SLR camera. This all occurs in the course of one conversation with another character.
Correction: He has multiple cameras around his neck. You can see then in one of the first shots with him as a photographer when he is running through the battlefield.

24 (2001)
Corrected entry: When Gaines is calling Jack, he uses a headset. Jack wants to talk with Kimberly, Gains holds the micro in front of Kimberley's mouth, but he didn't give her the earpiece. How could she be able to hear Jacks question if she is fine?
Correction: The earpiece is very close, apparently close enough for her to hear the question.

24 (2001)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Jack Bauer is at the medical station giving the gun to the photographer, as the photographer leaves, Jack pulls a gun and holds it to the photographer's head. He cocks the gun manually, but when going to decock it, instead of pressing the decock lever, he pulls the trigger and eases the hammer down. A gun expert such as Jack would know about the decock lever, and not make that mistake.
Correction: He achieved his goal and it's pure speculation about whether he did it in the 'correct' way or not.

The One With Phoebe's Wedding - S10-E12
Corrected entry: Just after Monica tells Phoebe to be at the rehearsal dinner at 18h00 her phone rings and she answers it "Gellar here". She has been married to Chandler since season 7, surely she means "Bing."
Correction: Completely in line with Monica's character that she would continue to refer to herself by her maiden name or alternatively a completely plausible character mistake. Monica also states that she never changed her name in a later episode. (The One With Princess Consuela).

Fawlty Towers (1975)
Gourmet Night (a.k.a. Gourmet's Paradise) - S1-E5
Corrected entry: When Basil hands the guests the new 'duck-or-nothing' menu, one of the guests says "how extraordinary", then Basil says "Lobster, tournedos, you name it, it's in the bin". Later on, Basil frantically starts preparing salmon mousses and mullet with mustard sauce, dishes that were never specified on the new menu. So how were the guests able to order these if everything from the first menu was scrapped and not listed on the second menu?
Correction: The duck was the main course, the other dishes could quite reasonably be starters or similar. It's extremely common to see menus with a number of fixed dishes and the option to choose the main course.

Gourmet Night (a.k.a. Gourmet's Paradise) - S1-E5
Corrected entry: At the start of the episode, when Basil reaches into the car bonnet and the horn starts blaring, it's almost a full second before he jumps in fright.
Correction: Not true, I've just watched this and his reaction time is perfectly natural. It's certainly not one second.

Taxi 2 (2000)
Corrected entry: When Petra is kidnapped, her shoes and underwear are left in the toilet. In the next scene she is in, when she is freed, she is wearing shoes and underwear. She is shown taking off the shoes before the fight scene, and we see her underwear during the fighting. (00:42:15 - 01:08:00)

Clueless (1995)
Corrected entry: When Cher and Tai are smoking pot with Travis at the party, it's obvious that Cher is faking it, because the tip of the joint never glows. Tai, on the other hand, smokes it for real.
Correction: All of which sounds exactly in line with the characters and the story.

The One with Two Parts: Part 1 - S1-E16
Corrected entry: In this episode, Chandler is speaking to Nina, when they both agree that their processing term, "WENUS" is short for "Weekly Estimated Net Usage Statistics". However, this is inconsistent with the previous episode: Season 1, Episode 15, The One with the Stoned Guy. In that episode, Chandler is speaking to Monica, Ross, Rachel, Joey and Phoebe in Central Perk, when he says that "WENUS" is short for "Weekly Estimated Net Usage Systems".

Big Trouble in Little China (1986)
Corrected entry: As we see later in the film Lo Pan passes through objects when in his "young form" as he has no physical body. However, in the scene where Jack first encounters him by running "through" him with his truck, we see the truck actually hit Lo Pan and he falls under it. Then when Jack gets out of the truck, Lo Pan is behind it. Lo Pan should have passed through the truck rather than have been run over by it.
Correction: He clearly wasn't run over by the truck. The fact that he appeared to be hit by the truck isn't a mistake, just a piece of amusement on his part.

The Bourne Identity (2002)
Corrected entry: When viewed at half speed on the Bourne Identity DVD, it is clear when Bourne shoots the Professor in the field for the second time, that smoke comes away from the Professor's body before the shot is fired. I don't know much about guns, but it doesn't seem to make sense. (01:25:15)
Correction: Sorry, but the rules of the site say you have to able to see it at normal viewing speed.
