I'm looking for a movie, or short film about WWI. I remember a scene were they were in the trenches, a gas attack hits them, and one of the soldiers (a rather chubby one) couldn't find his gas mask. After panicking and trying to grab others masks he chokes. I think the movie starts with an old man grabbing a young guy at a store by the collar and starts talking about WWI, it also ends with the same man and boy again where the old man says "That, was my war." That's all I remember. It might be British made and from the 80's or 90's. I hope someone can help.

I once saw this old movie where a man (a photographer) was having an inappropriate affair with a young girl. They ended up having a child together - at the end of the movie they break up and she walks away with the young baby with a yellow or blue dress. The movie was old, like 1940-1960. Please help me. Thanks.
There was a movie in the early 70's that included a young doctor trying to hook up with a young woman, whose mother kept trying to keep them apart. At one point, he was racing to her rescue while hollering Medical Emergency to get people out of the way. There was a scene with them in a hot tub at which point her mother pulled her out while covering her with a towel.
Looking for the name of a war movie, prior to 1975. The conclusion takes place on a Naval ship. A German spy is discovered because he mispronounces a racial slur that every "American" knows how to pronounce.
Looking for the name of a movie I saw in the early 90's, I think it was a made for TV movie. A boy is wrongfully convicted of killing a girl that he liked in a pool house or garage. There is one scene that sticks with me. After he is convicted it shows them burning a box of evidence which has a bandanna in it, which was worn by another character.
I'm looking for a made for TV, possibly in the 1980's. It was a midday movie in Australia. From what I remember, there is a man driving his car up a road, and there are fields and trees on either side. All of a sudden, a women comes out from the side, covered in blood. The man stops, and the woman says to him that there is a killer after her (and I think that her husband has been killed). The guy in the car goes looking for the killer, but you never actually see him - a little bit like Duel. They are going in and out of old derelict barns. I think that the main guy was dark haired, one of the top TV stars of the 70's, 80's. It was not a horror movie, but a thriller. For some reason, I remember that it was filmed in Canada.
Trying to find the name of a horror movie maybe from the late 80's early 90's. All I remember is that a young man inherits a cabin (or something). He takes a group of friends there. When he gets there, he walks to the side of the place only to find it as a skeletal structure with just the front standing. However the front showed a full cabin and they were able to go inside, which showed a full house. It had something to do with demons or something that killed off his friends 1 by 1 and possessing them. The only other scene I remember is towards the end of the movie, he wakes up to find all his "dead" friends helping him up. They said as soon as he stepped through the doorway he passed out. He began telling him about his "dream" when one of his friends throws up blood (or something) and says "oops." When the guy looked around him it showed his friends all in demon-like form (them waking him up was just a trick) and the chase resumed. Sorry but that is all I can remember.
What was the title of a 1980's movie (TV movie I think) about a black family that moves back south after the matriarch of the family dies? The family, concerned about racial tensions in the south, is hesitant to leave the north, but after deciding to move, finds things in the south more tolerant than expected.
What is the name of the recently released movie about a blended gay biracial un married family (Asian dad, white dad, + son who is legally only the son of the white guy) and the white dad dies suddenly before completing guardianship paperwork, so the white in laws try to take the son away?
What was the name of a movie around 1965 to 1967 about teenagers who sold watches to buy racing betting tickets. At the end, the man who purchased them for the teens bought a big winning ticket, but died at the racetrack and dropped the winning ticket into thousands of discarded tickets at the track?
I watched this movie years ago so I can't remember all the details, but I believe it took place in the 1800s based upon their clothing. It was about sisters and they had to go multiple funerals which may have been for some of the sisters that died, and when people died that had to wear black for a year.
For about 30 years I've been trying to find out the title of a black and white movie from the 30s - 50s. I fancy it might have starred someone like Jimmy Stewart. It was about a husband (and father) from a well-off community who. I think, gets hit by a train and suffers amnesia. At the end of the film, he inadvertently comes across his old house at around Christmas time, and looks through the window, but is promptly sent on his way, unrecognised by his own family.
Looking for a movie in the mid-80's. I remember a vehicle gets dropped in the jungle named H.A.R.V. And in one shoot out a guy is blown out of his shoes by a shotgun behind a counter. I think a girl hired this man and his buddy to find her sister.
My daughter says I watched this film with her. Four lads drinking and visiting clubs, one was quite violent. An overweight guy at a burger joint found a plain girl he liked...a teen boy ran for the train home with his girl.
I watched this movie probably late 90s. I was about 8-10 years old when I saw it so the only thing I remember was two boys perhaps camping in their backyard. The boy had a sister whose friend was also sleeping over. The boy's friend was infatuated with the sister's friend, and in the morning the sister's friend was found murdered, either suffocated or strangled. I remember they were in some shed playing strip poker, then everyone went inside - the girl who is the boys sister's friend wants to stay out and sleep there, and then the next morning she was dead.
I'm trying to find the name of a movie I watched in the late 70's or early 80's about a man who kills a woman's husband and dog. It takes place outside, maybe wintertime. She cries and says "you killed my husband" and the killer says "I killed your dog too".
I have been looking for a Asian fantasy movie (not anime) from the 1990s (I think) its about a vampire/monster (girl with long black hair and who is able to use her fingernails as lasers) and a cop. They fall in love, kinda like Romeo and Juliet but fantasy, there is a lot of rain in the film and cheesy music. There are scenes where the normal people (police squad) are able to summon their powers to fight the monsters and do this in a group in one scene, like some kind of mental power. There is a scene at the end when the lead vampire/monster is riding on a plane trying to crash it into a building. Its name could be something like, Monster Love Story, Police Squad, Police Love Story...I can't remember and I would so love to find this movie. It could be Korean, Japanese but it has English subtitles.
Can you please tell me the name of an older (80's) movie that was on TV about 2 sisters who lived in a small town. They were poor, and in the end, the older sister married for money, to a short, rich, nerdy hardware store owner who adored her. Near the final scene, she was standing on a bridge saying good bye to her rebellious younger sister. The older sister was tall and had long blonde hair, wore a leather suede fur lined coat, and drove a white SUV. The younger sister had (earlier) had a fight with her boyfriend or husband then got back together with him. He was a poor alcoholic abusive man she loved, and they lived in a shack on the other side of the bridge. The younger sister looked a bit like Princess Stephanie of Monaco and was a known actress, with a shag cut brown hair. The movie might have had Matt Damon in it, or it came out around the same time as the corner store junkie movieā¦.same type of movie. Thanks!
I vaguely remember a couple of scenes in a black and white movie I saw on TV when I was a young girl in the early 70's, but made in the 1960's or 1950's. I don't remember the title, and I think the scenes were toward the end. There was an airplane crash, and an African-American mother had her young daughter as one of the passengers on the plane when it crashed soon after take-off. The girl had a doll, and the mother found the doll among the wreckage. The mother had tears running down her face. I remember feeling very sad watching this scene. I want to say that the pilot was Jimmy Stewart or Henry Fonda but I could be wrong. I've been wracking my brain looking for this movie as I very much want to see it again.
My mom would like to figure out the name of a TV movie that she saw years ago. She says that it was about a woman in an unsatisfying marriage who falls in love with a man who arrives on a boat, to "do business with her people" At the end she is about to leave with him when her husband arrives and says that he loves her, and if she wants to go she can. She decides to stay with him. I've looked everywhere, hope somebody can help me out. Thanks.
