Continuity mistake: Mob Rules: When Ned has been carjacked, just as Marge and Lisa go over to him, there is a lamp post on the street corner, but as Marge asks Ned if he's hurt, the lamp post has vanished.
Continuity mistake: Mob Rules: When Mayor Quimby and the games producer first see the mob, there is a senator standing near the front. Grandpa Simpson is in the crowd behind the senator to her left. The shot cuts to a closer shot of the senator, and Grandpa Simpson is now directly behind her.
Continuity mistake: Mob Rules: When Kang and Kodos are arguing, the Earth shown through the monitor changes entirely when the shot cuts. Extra land and additional clouds have suddenly appeared. The shot shown on the monitor is also much further away when the shot cuts.
Continuity mistake: Mob Rules: When the dolphins are charging towards the shore, the head dolphin, Snorky lays on a rock on land and turns to face the other dolphins, but from an overview angle, he is suddenly lying on the sand.
Continuity mistake: Mob Rules: When Springfield is being invaded, the Simpsons are in their home, with Marge and Lisa in the doorway and Homer hiding behind the door. Lisa then says "We've gotta do something", the entire doorway is visible in frame and Homer has suddenly vanished.
Continuity mistake: Enter the Cheatrix: When the ape snatches Professor Frink, Frink is holding the Simpsons game strategy guide with his left hand, but as the ape jumps into the pipe, the manual has vanished. He couldn't have dropped it as he gives it to Bart and Lisa later on.
Continuity mistake: Invasion of the Yokel Snatchers: Cletus confronts the aliens about their thieving. He is holding two coupons in his hand, which two shots afterward become three, then when one of the aliens takes them, there are suddenly six coupons in the alien's hand.
Continuity mistake: Invasion of the Yokel Snatchers: When Homer and Bart release Cletus, Homer and Bart's position on the floor changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When the mothership arrives at the Simpson house, the family runs outside, standing next to the door and leaving it open. Lisa then says "it's the mothership" and the family are now standing in the garden with the door closed.
Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: As the Simpsons are sitting on the couch, whilst Bart is looking up the Simpsons Game, Marge and Lisa are next to each other, but as Marge asks "what does it say we have to do next?", there is no sign of Lisa.
Continuity mistake: NeverQuest: When Todd Flanders tells Homer and Marge the door is magic, Ralph and Rod Flanders are standing beside Homer and Marge. Homer then walks over to the door and Ralph is suddenly standing closer to Todd.
Continuity mistake: Medal of Homer: When Abe tells Homer and Bart to take care of the flags, Burns is standing next to Homer and Bart. Bart then asks what war is this and Burns has suddenly vanished.
Continuity mistake: Game Over: When the characters are running through the portal to Springfield, the doors to the portal have circular windows in them. In the next show, just before Moe holds onto the light fixture above the portal door, one of the circular windows in the doors is suddenly cracked.
Continuity mistake: Game Over: During the destruction of the game engine, there is an overview shot at the start of the cutscene, where the doors to the both the Big Super Happy Fun Fun Game level and NeverQuest are open. The shot cuts to an angle from the ground, and the doors to those same games are suddenly closed.
Continuity mistake: Game Over: When the Simpsons and game characters are back at the Simpson household, the computer that they were using in the level "Bargain Bin" earlier on is no longer in front of the couch. The Simpsons had been in the game engine the entire time so they couldn't have moved it.
Continuity mistake: Game Over: Back at the Simpson household, Homer asks what's for dinner, and a video game character resembling Mario hops onto the opposite side of the couch hoping it's spaghetti. After Bart points out that they're still under attack, the video game character has vanished from the couch.
Continuity mistake: Game Over: When the Simpsons meet God, Lisa asks "You've been playing with our lives and we'd like you to stop." Bart and Lisa are standing mostly beside each other, but in the next shot, Bart is suddenly standing in front of Lisa.
Continuity mistake: The Land of Chocolate: When the sky rains chocolate balls into Homer's hand, watch the background. In the far background, there is a large dollop of chocolate ice-cream, but when the shot cuts, there are now two and they are much smaller.
Continuity mistake: The Land of Chocolate: When Homer stops by the arrow to Fudgetown, the arrow is a few feet behind him. Next shot, the arrow is further away.
Continuity mistake: The Land of Chocolate: When Homer wakes up from his dream, there is one wrapper on his chest and as he goes to stand up, there are no wrappers visible on his abdomen. In the next shot, a wrapper has suddenly appeared.
