Now You See Me

Continuity mistake: As Dylan chases the Horsemen through New Orleans, he runs onto a street where there is a huge crowd. A police car stops in front of Dylan. In the shot where the police car stops, Dylan is standing next to the car, but standing in front of the car in the next shot. (01:05:35)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: After the Horsemen escape, Dylan is drunk in a bar having an annoyed conversation with Alma. From the shots in front of Alma, there are several strands of her hanging over her left ear. From the shots behind Alma, there is only one strand of hair hanging over her left ear. (01:07:30)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Alma lets go of Dylan's head after pushing him on the table, she is noticeably facing Dylan as the shot ends. In the next shot, she is suddenly facing 180 degrees in the opposite direction with no time to do so. (01:08:00)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: At the apartment, Dylan takes the Guardians of Horus off Alma and goes to the living room and places it on a table. The scene cuts to Alma sleeping and the scene cuts back to Dylan. In the first shot, his gun is placed next to the book and is facing a 7 o'clock angle and is a few inches away from the edge of the table. In the following shot, the gun is now facing a 12 o'clock direction and on the edge of the desk. Extended version. (01:11:15)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Alma and Dylan (after Dylan comes to their room after drinking) are talking, Alma's bra slides down over shoulder. In the next shot (over Alma's shoulder) it's back on her shoulder. (01:11:30)

Einārs Viziņš

Continuity mistake: When Dylan is shown the interrogation tape of Daniel stealing his phone, the video frame shows no lower than Daniel's belt as he tells them to zoom in tighter. But in a close-up of the video when Dylan says "Tighter" a second time, the video frame now shows almost half of his trousers visible within the video frame. (01:13:50)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: As the FBI agents re-watch the interrogation tape, there is a time code on the right hand top corner. When Dylan says "That's where he took my phone", the time code on the top right corner reads 13 minutes and 33 seconds. The shot then cuts to Dylan for only a second or two, but in the next shot, the video is still visible in the background, paused at 13 minutes and 39 seconds. (01:13:55)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Dylan and co are in the truck, finding out that his phone has a bug in it, Dylan tells the female agent to put the bug back in his phone. As Dylan says "They don't know that we know about the bug", Alma is looking at Dylan. Next shot, she's suddenly looking at the female agent putting the bug back in his phone. (01:14:05)

Continuity mistake: When Arthur Tressler contacts Thaddeus to ask him how well is his money being spent, Thaddeus is shown inside his car with his camera crew and replies with "Exceedingly well." During this shot, Thaddeus is shown lowering his car window until it has reached the bottom. In the next shot, as Thaddeus says "See for yourself", the shot shows the window only half rolled down. (01:16:05)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: As Dylan and Fuller approach the Horsemen's apartment, there is a close-up of the apartment door's doorknob that shows the door is only open a few inches. From a low angle of Dylan opening the door, the door is now open almost halfway. (01:16:25)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Jack picks up the wet cloth to shove into Agent Fuller's mouth, there is a tap in a sink with a cloth and the tap is pointed to the left. Then as Jack drags Fuller over to the garbage disposal in the sink, the tap is suddenly pointed forwards. And when Jack shoves Fuller's jacket sleeves into the garbage disposal, the tap is pointing to the right. (01:17:20)

Continuity mistake: When Jack tackles Agent Fuller in the apartment, he grabs his jacket, pulls it down, and shoves the sleeves into the garbage disposal. When Jack turns on the disposal, some sort of utensil holder falls into the sink on the left side. After Fuller yells out "Dylan" after spitting out a wet cloth forced into his mouth, a shot of the sink is shown and the utensil holder has suddenly shifted slightly to the right. Fuller couldn't have moved it since his arms were stuck in his jacket and his jacket was stuck inside the garbage disposal. (01:17:25)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: During the fight at the apartment, Jack grabs Dylan's gun with a belt and throws them at Agent Fuller, trapped in the sink's garbage disposal. When Fuller is hit, his head is thrown backwards slightly. In the shot following, his head is suddenly facing forwards. This is only visible for a split second, so you'll need to be quick in order to see it. (01:17:35)

Continuity mistake: As Jack shows Dylan the cards (before throwing them at him), Dylan then says "Really?" And we can see there is already a huge red scratch on his cheek, which isn't caused until the cards are thrown. It couldn't have been from when Jack threw the flash paper at Dylan because no scratch mark was visible when that happened. (01:18:50)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Jack is being chased by Dylan and Alma, he drives onto a sidewalk and knocks into two bikes. He continues driving and most of the two bikes slide off the car, leaving one of the bike wheels stuck to the bumper. In the next shot, almost the entire bike is still stuck to the bumper. (01:22:10)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: There's a space issue with the scenes of the safe in the truck. They show Agent Fuller coming around on the (viewer's) left side of the safe to show the Horsemen video. However, when we first see the safe in the truck, there is absolutely no way a man of Fuller's size can fit in the gap between the safe and truck wall. (01:22:35)

Continuity mistake: On the bridge, as Dylan and Alma chase Jack, a bus drives in the way of Jack's car. When Jack's car is shown again, a quick shot from the front of the bus is shown. Although the light reflects on the window and we can't see the driver, we can see, just for a moment, that there are hardly any passengers on the bus. Later on, when Thaddeus is explaining how the Horsemen faked Jack's death, Merritt is shown to have been the driver of the bus, and in the passenger seats are dummies, rather than the almost empty bus shown before. (01:23:40 - 01:44:35)

Continuity mistake: When the car crashes on the bridge, it slides against the barrier on the middle of the road and flips over. As it slides, the bus on the next lane is seen to be more ahead of the car. The shot then cuts to Fuller yelling out "Oh, shit!" and it cuts back to he car flipping over. Only now, the bus is suddenly right next to the car, ready to drive past it. (01:23:50)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Jack's car is crashing on the bridge, there is a shot where the car stops flipping and comes to a stop. The shot cuts to Dylan and Alma in the car, but when the shot cuts back, the car is still flipping. (01:24:00)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When the car blows up, visible to the right of the car is a tyre that fell off during the crash. The explosion is then seen going over the tyre. When the fire clears the tyre isn't there anymore, but it reappears a few shots later. (01:24:40)

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: As Dylan and Fuller approach the Horsemen's apartment, there is a close-up of the apartment door's doorknob that shows the door is only open a few inches. From a low angle of Dylan opening the door, the door is now open almost halfway. (01:16:25)
