Continuity mistake: In the opening scene at the school play as the shots change from wide views of the audience, to closeups of Moira and the children, the positions of everyone sitting around them continues to change. In addition the people standing up in the background keep moving, and in some shots we can see people standing with camcorders, but then in the next shots there is nobody with a camcorder visible. (00:01:10)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the school play Moira turns to Peter and says "Watch your daughter, she's stealing the show" and you can see two fathers stood behind Peter filming the play. The shot then changes to a wider angle of the audience and these two men have suddenly stopped filming and their cameras are nowhere to be seen. (00:01:14)
Continuity mistake: During the school play, at the beginning of the movie, Peter's phone rings and Moira stops smiling and turns to face him twice as he answers it. (00:02:06)
Continuity mistake: When the family are on the airplane travelling to England, Maggie shows her father the drawing that Jack did. Between shots the way she holds the large sketchpad in her hands changes. (00:06:20)
Continuity mistake: In the airplane, Jack begins to throw his baseball against the window, to show his Dad (Peter) that it is thick and will not break. When he does this, it causes the oxygen masks to be dropped down in front of them. Between shots the positions of the masks and the straps wrapped around them differs. In addition in the first shot Peter grabs them to stop them from swinging about, but in the next shot his hands are instantly back in his lap. (00:07:40)
Continuity mistake: When Peter is sitting at the foot of the bed, talking to Moira about how he has to take the phonecall (as the phone rings in his hand), between shots he differs from having the phone either held down in his lap to up by his face. (00:14:40)
Continuity mistake: When Moira grabs the phone from Peter's hands and throws it out the window, as the phone falls to the ground and then when it lands, the length at which the phone's antenna is sticking out keeps changing from shot to shot. (00:14:50)
Continuity mistake: When Maggie shows Peter the paper flower that Tootles made for her, she holds it with both hands but in the next shot is only holding it with her right hand. Also the "stem" of the flower changes from being rather straight to slightly crooked. (00:18:10)
Continuity mistake: When Peter gives Jack the pocket watch, the time displayed on it changes from 7:40 to 7:55 between shots. (00:18:25)
Audio problem: In the scene when Robin Williams is giving the speech at the presentation for Wendy, when the shot changes to show Wendy and Moira, Robin's voice changes to a voice over, and then back to normal when he is shown again. (00:19:00)
Visible crew/equipment: When the camera zooms into the hook-shaped window-lock opening itself, you can see the faint reflection of the camera and its operator in the silver plate that the lock is attached to. (00:21:45)
Revealing mistake: In the last scene that we see Maggie and Jack before they are kidnapped, when the bed covers fly off their beds, you can see that they are suspended by their corners. This is particularly obvious when they are lifted up. The middle of the quilt sags while the corners are lifted. (00:22:25)
Continuity mistake: When the window opens and the children are kidnapped, the tent gets blown over. Yet later when Peter re-enters the room and pours a drink, the tent is back up. (00:22:25 - 00:29:40)
Continuity mistake: When Moira and Peter are at Wendy's beside, as she rests after being shaken at her honourary dinner, we can see a book sitting on the bedside table and it is resting at a crooked angle. But when Wendy askes Peter to hand it over to her, the camera zooms in for a closeup of the book which is now sitting at a perfectly straight and neat angle. (00:26:10)
Continuity mistake: When Tinkerbell first arrives at Peter's home, she walks through ink and then walks on Peter's shirt, making little footprints. She only walks halfway up his shirt, yet when Peter gets up you can see little footprints leading all the way up to his collar. (00:30:35 - 00:31:30)
Continuity mistake: When Tinkerbell first meets Peter, she is walking on him as he lays in the cot. Peter's glasses always lay under his chin, because they fell off his nose, but when he gets up from the cot the glasses are suddenly in his hand. (00:31:20)
Continuity mistake: When Tinkerbell is first visiting Peter in the nursery, she causes him to sneeze which results in her being blown into the doll's house. In this shot, the chair that is sitting next to the doll's house has a teddy bear on it which is laying flat on it's front. But in a following shot you can see that the teddy bear on the chair is now propped up nice and neatly, and additionally there are now extra items sitting next to the bear. (00:31:45)
Revealing mistake: When Tink visits Peter at Wendy's house and pulls the rug from under his feet, if you look at his legs, Peter jumps up before the rug is pulled. (00:33:15)
Continuity mistake: When Tinkerbell visits Peter at his home, in one shot she pulls the rug from under Peter's feet and Peter flies to the floor. When he lands to the floor, there is nothing around his head, just bare floor. Then when it cuts to a wideshot, lots of items like the tent sheet, the parachute etc. are surrounding his head. (00:33:20)
Revealing mistake: After arriving in Neverland in the bedsheet parachute made by Tinkerbell, there is a shot of Peter poking his finger up through the bedsheet to make a hole for him to rip open. However you can clearly see a small pre-made tear in the sheet for where he could easily poke his finger through and rip a hole in the fabric. (00:34:25)
Answer: 1) Though it is never fully explained, the mystical way Peter Pan would come and go from Never land. 2) It was Smee who was doing the spying. When Hook asked Smee, "This can't be my great and worthy foe?" Smee replied, "I have all the information here." He had a file of paper work on Peter. 3) Hook knew where the Lost Boys were, When Peter asked, what happened to the Never Tree. Tinkerbell said, "Hook burned it when you didn't come back." He considered the Lost Boys not worth the effort. It was Peter, he wanted.
