Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Resident Evil: Apocalypse mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Watch the scene where Alice almost pokes the scientist with the pen. In the close up shot of the guy's face, she almost poked him in his left eye. In the far shot, the pen is being pointed at his right eye. (01:23:30)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the Nemesis kills the 13 S.T.A.R.S members, after it blows up the sniper on the roof an additional S.T.A.R.S member can be seen outside the building on the right who wasn't there earlier. He then disappears shortly afterwards.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when Alice gets her memory back, she grabs a pen and points it very close to a man's eye, then the camera changes shot still looking at Alice and the man but the pen is much further away from the eye than before.

Continuity mistake: When Alice and the group are going to raid the Umbrella guards and steal the helicopter, one of the men looks through binoculars with night vision. He looks at the helicopter, then looks to the right of the helicopter, yet in the next scene a second later, his head is in the same position as it was when he looked at the helicopter, before he looked to the right.

Continuity mistake: When Alice slides on the floor, she shoots up a hole in the wall and goes down it, dislocating a finger on her left hand in the process. In the next shot she straightens it out, and the finger is on her right hand.

Continuity mistake: In the DVD, at the climax, just prior to when Alice is forced to fight Nemesis, she has a conversation with Thomas Kretschmann (the dude with the leather coat). During the conversation, one shot shows Alice with blood trickling down her neck and some bruises on her face after she previously had no injuries. Moments later, her face is back to normal. Later, during the fight with Nemesis, you see that that is where she sustains her injuries.

Continuity mistake: When they're in the school and they split up, Terri walks into the classroom and the map at the front of the classroom has bloody hand prints on it. When Jill Valentine walks into the same room later, there are no hand prints on the map.

Suggested correction: It's two different maps on two different walls.

Continuity mistake: When Alice has refused to finish Nemesis off, she stands alone. Mr. Bad Guy tells Nemesis to kill her, and two Umbrella men suddenly appear out of nowhere beside her.

Continuity mistake: In the church scene, Alice blows up her motorcycle with two shots of her Colt .45's. During the shot of her back, she already starts with holstering her guns, her arms are already halfway there when the shot cuts. Then, there is a quick shot of the explosion, and in the next shot her arms are straight again, in the position where they were when she took a shot at her bike. There is no reason or time enough to do that.

Friso94

Continuity mistake: When the Suburban is T-boned, it is replaced with an older 92-94 Suburban with the front end of a newer 00-04 Suburban installed in place of the older front end. Older model 6 spoke wheels are installed instead of the 00-04 wheels shown in previous scenes. In one of the shots towards the end of the sequence, a completely different 96-99 suburban is shown rolling over with five spoke wheels, and the scene is mirrored.

Factual error: When any character's automatic pistol runs out of bullets, the slide doesn't lock open. All the weapons shown are of a type which should.

Question: How does Jill find out about the T-virus and its effects? I don't think they ever explained it in the movie.

Answer: The newspaper clippings we see in her apartment at the start refer to a 'mansion incident' - this in fact relates to the events of the first Resident Evil game, when Jill and other STARS members were trapped in a mansion overrun with the T-Virus. By the end of the game Jill knows exaclty what the T-Virus is and what its effects are.

Even though it mentions it in the newspaper clippings in the movie she wasn't even at the Mansion so therefore she wouldn't have known about the t-virus in the movie.

She was at the mansion prior to the events of Apocalypse, and one of the first ones to know about the virus before it hit Raccoon City.
