Revealing mistake: In the opening shot, when it pans towards Mr. Leonard and the old lady, the street lamp that is positioned to the right of Mr. Leonard's car begins to pass in front of the car even though it is placed on the other side of it. (00:00:20)
Revealing mistake: The exact same shot of Mr. Leonard's car beginning to pull out of the store after closing Marketropolis is used three different times in the movie. The first time is one minute into the movie. The exact same shot is used 11 mins 55 secs into the movie after Brand X visits. The third time is 41 mins 55 secs into the movie after Dex and Dan get into the office. This shown by the car being parked in the exact same place, the car showing the exact same movements and the car hitting a trolley, all positioned in the same place, on each occasion. Revealing mistake: In the establishing shots of the Marketropolis world, a group of people are practicing martial arts in front of the Kung Tofu palace. The people training are visibly the exact same character design duplicated over and over. (00:02:05)
Revealing mistake: When Dex is first introduced, he is standing on top of a hot air balloon with four hairless hamster henchmen and the Fat Cat Burglar surrounding him. When Dex first appears onscreen, the henchman wearing yellow behind him can be seen with his right leg floating above the hot air balloon surface. (00:02:50)
Revealing mistake: When Dex takes out the cheese when the hairless hamsters advance on him, the hamster in red doesn't appear to be looking at the cheese. His eye movements are pointing towards the hot air balloon below him, but his head is moving in sync where Dex is waving the cheese, suggesting that he is supposed to be looking at the cheese. (00:03:20)
Revealing mistake: When Sunshine is playing ball with the children, she is shown kicking a melon up and down. As the shot pans around, the melon can be seen passing in front of a kid standing towards the foreground. (00:05:40)
Revealing mistake: When Dan is crashing his plane the first time, just as Maximillius shouts "He's gonna crash again", both he and Sunshine are looking upwards towards Dan. Dex is looking upwards in the same direction, but his eyes are facing a different direction than the direction Sunshine and Maximillius is looking. (00:08:30)
Revealing mistake: After Mr. Clipboard stomps on the bag of chips, Mr. Leonard begins to walk over to it saying that was a perfectly good bag of chips. In the far background, there is a sign in the background listing what is located in the aisle. The shot begins to pan in towards Leonard, and some of the animation on the sign in the background becomes erased, leaving some of the colour and detail on the sign incomplete. (00:11:35)
Revealing mistake: Many of the animated extras shown outside the red carpet at the Copa-Banana are shown waving and cheering, but not at any actual person walking along the red carpet. They just appear to be cheering towards the carpet, but there is no-one standing or walking in the direction they are looking towards. (00:16:45)
Revealing mistake: Many of the animated extras dancing inside the Copa-Banana are animated without are drawn without any detail, or distinguishable features given to their faces. (00:17:55)
Revealing mistake: When Kaptain Krispy collapses in his bowl of potato chips, some chips fly out of the plate, but the overall amount of chips never lowers. (00:18:40)
Revealing mistake: When Lady X is introducing herself to Dex in the Copa-Banana, in the shot where she says "I've heard so much about you", there is an extra visible in the far background who appears to be floating in the air, and was not animated into the shot very well. (00:19:50)
Revealing mistake: When Dex pours himself a cup of milk after leaving the Copa-Banana, the shot pans around the the table. When the shot pans around the milk carton and cup, Dex's legs have been animated over the edge of the table, giving the impression that he is hovering over the table. (00:22:15)
Revealing mistake: In the laboratory, when Dex tells the doctor he needs him to analyse what he borrowed from Lady X, it is apparent that when Dex first shows it the doctor, there is nothing in his hand. He just appears to be pretending to hold something. It is not until two shots later, that the object he shows to the doctor is visibly in his hand. (00:37:25)
Revealing mistake: After Dex has the bowls of hot chocolate poured over the roof, the rest of the Ikes then begin throwing food off the roof at the Brand X army. Most of the food that they are throwing just appears to be popping up on the screen from practically nowhere. (00:54:35)
Revealing mistake: When the Ikes are throwing food off the roof at the Brand X army, Mrs. Butterworth says "Take that, dear" whilst throwing pancakes from a large pile towards the army. The first pancake she throws lifts itself off the pile before she touches it. (00:55:10)
Revealing mistake: During the food fight, after Mr. Clean hurls a watermelon from the roof top, it lands on the ground, causing a pink explosion and a few shots are shown of the Brand X soldiers being blasted back and landing on the ground. In one shot of the soldiers landing on the ground after the watermelon explodes, some of the soldiers can be seen floating above the ground. (00:55:25)
Revealing mistake: The pies that are launched at the Brand X army just appear to pop up on screen after the previous pie is thrown. There never appears to be anyone launching them. They just appear on their own. (00:56:20)
Revealing mistake: When the pie is thrown at the lead Brand X soldier, the animation of the liquid from the pie does not appear very natural. The animation appears very glitchy and does not stay in one place. (00:56:35)
Revealing mistake: A group of Brand X soldiers position straws in upwards positions and fire one food ball from each of them. More food balls are shown being fired from the straws than there are straws in total. (00:57:50)
