Continuity mistake: In the scene outside the hospital, when Gale and Sidney try to make the protagonist reconsider her plan to leave, Courteney Cox's hair changes position in front of either shoulder several times between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the FBI realises that the Ford Bronco that Alex Lewis shot an El Paso PD officer from was full of pigeon droppings, and Det Marquez remarks that Lewis' burned-down family bakery was full of pigeons, it can be seen through the office windows that it's still daytime outside. However, when the FBI arrive at the bakery, it's late at night. It is unlikely that the FBI would take hours to show up at the bakery given how time-sensitive it was to find Lewis, or collect evidence on his whereabouts.
Continuity mistake: Before taking Michael's mask, Corey calls Allyson and tells her to meet him at the diner at 9:00 pm. Later we see Allyson at the diner waiting for Corey, but when she checks her phone and sees Laurie is calling the time is 5:36 pm. (01:13:56 - 01:24:41)
Continuity mistake: During appetizers, John Leguizamo's assistant puts her work phone on the table to let him know she is resigning. Leguizamo is holding his glass when the camera is behind him, and a spoon when he's seen from the front. (00:13:10)
Continuity mistake: In the final battle, Lin Mi Sheng has her hair pinned up in a French twist. Her hair changes very frequently between shots and combat sequences. Sometimes it switches from a French twist to a slick chignon.
Continuity mistake: As the "lone wolf" escapes on the bike, there's a fancy swooping camera shot which tracks him, cutting to a shot from the front just as he scythes between two dark cars and past a police car. In that quick shot a woman suddenly appears cowering by the police car who wasn't there before.
Continuity mistake: When Sarah fires at the jeep chasing them she brings the weapon back in with the slide in the normal position, in the next shot it is in the locked back empty position. (01:26:50)
Continuity mistake: RJ got into his van and drove parallel to the house, almost reaching the end (right side) of the house when he saw Pearl in front of him and stopped. When RJ got out of his van, it was parked near the beginning (left side) of the house that he had already driven past. Also, Pearl was standing in front of a fence, so it didn't make sense that RJ would be driving straight toward a dead-end. (00:57:07)
Continuity mistake: The doctor arrived around 7:52 and the wall clock stayed at about the same time while he was talking to Nurse Irwin, but suddenly (within several seconds) advanced to almost 8:00. (01:09:59)
Continuity mistake: The amount of Kyle's facial hair changes (i.e, grows too much/fast) from the beginning of the scene when he is on the rock talking to Jaelyn to the end of the scene when he is standing in the water. Continuity mistake: When ladybug is sitting at the table with Lemon, and they start fighting over the pistol, Brad Pitt drops the gun's magazine out of the tub onto the floor. In the subsequent shuffle you see the bottom of the gun with a magazine still in it and immediately cut to it on the floor. The next shot after he grabs the magazine off the floor you see the gun with no magazine. (00:40:20)
Continuity mistake: The street view/scenery when Emily is walking down the road outside of her new apartment becomes quite different when the camera shifts to an aerial view (showing more cars and buildings, fewer trees along the right side of the road, and mountains in the distance instead of the nearby ocean). Continuity mistake: The clock on the wall behind Casey jumped from 10:45 to 11:00 while he was talking to his wife and daughter. At times, the clock appeared to have 3-4 hands and when a hand should have been visible behind his back pointing at "12", no hands could be seen. (00:19:16 - 00:19:46)
Continuity mistake: The sky (sun versus clouds and color - blue, white, or gray) changes frequently during the few minutes when Lara is leaving the site until she returns to retrieve her bag. Before she falls into the hole, the sun is shown near the horizon, about to set, but the sun is shining on her in the hole. A setting sun would not be able to emit rays into a distant hole. Continuity mistake: There are two stand-up picture frames on the table. Judy knocks over one picture frame as she walks towards and points mace at Burton. Judy continues holding the mace in her right hand and purse in her left and does not bend over to upright the frame. When Judy leaves, the picture frame is upright and roughly parallel to the other frame. (00:25:45 - 00:27:20)
Continuity mistake: The striped pillow to the left of the screen (behind Nick's beer) is upright, but lowers in the next view. Nobody is near the pillow to move it or push it down. (00:12:36)
Continuity mistake: The "Santa" carrying the Molotov Cocktail walked up the steps and past the decorated handrail, but he was standing within the length of the handrail (about mid-way) when the camera shifted from the right-rear to left-rear side. (00:02:40)
Continuity mistake: When Joey is talking to Voight about the puzzle box and Voight tells him to "Keep going," pay attention. It's kind of hard to notice, but if you look closely, in the over-the-shoulder shot facing Joey, you can tell that Voight is standing straight, facing Joey before it cuts. When it cuts to the opposite angle, suddenly Voight's body has rotated about 90° (to his right).
Continuity mistake: The position/angle of the telescope that Ronald uses to watch the nude lady and spot Sky in Chris' house doesn't match how the telescope was supposedly redirected. The telescope (which is already oddly angled toward the side window sill and initially corresponding to about 8:10 on a clock) would sometimes correspond to roughly 9:17 but awkwardly between 10:20 and 11:20 other times. Despite the different angles, Ronald was watching the same nude lady. (00:41:56 - 00:44:36)
