Factual error: Pettis' calculation of the amount Connor needed to replace his asset was way off. He stated, "[Cornell] brought me about 250 [$250,000] a year. He had at least 20 more years of service. Subtract five years he might have spent in prison, so you owe me, what? Six point two million." Pettis was presented as intelligent, but a quick mental calculation of even the full 20 years at $250,000 would total only $5 million (not $6.2 - an odd sum). For 15 years, the total would be $3,750,000. (00:28:45)

Other mistake: At the end the camera bulbs would not work as they are electric. This is proven when the music starts after the creature leaves the area. (02:01:00)

Factual error: It's winter in Montana, yet there are rattlesnakes out in the cold.

Revealing mistake: The guy with the sunglasses changes from behind and in front of shots. (00:09:46 - 00:10:15)

Continuity mistake: Although Adeline has her mouth to the ground (eating grass), her head is suddenly upright and still in a few views of Kay or Terry. The most noticeable sudden change in Adeline's head being upright occurs right after Adam hugs her. (00:34:34 - 00:35:00)

Factual error: During the storage unit robbery in the beginning of the film, simply knocking the combination dial off the safe would not have caused the bolts to suddenly retract. It would defeat the entire purpose of having a combination lock. Even inexpensive safes have mechanisms to prevent this from happening.

Continuity mistake: During the first scene at the new California school, some kids step off the bus and run towards the camera. The shot changes, and they're gone.

Continuity mistake: The views of Pinero's dead "trophy wife" from opposite sides of the bed were not consistent. From Seth's view, Pinero's wife was lying mostly on her right side with her hair covering her head/neck but otherwise not visible, and her right arm extended outward from her waist area. From the other side of the bed, Pinero's wife's long wavy hair was over her left breast and should have been visible from Seth's position but was not. The wife's right arm also extended outward from her shoulder area. (00:00:22 - 00:01:19)

Character mistake: We see the lead driving on the motorway to get to the cottage. She leaves at junction 6 for Princes Risborough. Which means she is on the M40 that goes to Birmingham. When she arrives the host asks about the drive down and mentions the M4. This is a different road entirely, that goes to Swansea.

Deliberate mistake: There isn't an accurately-positioned light source bright or close enough that can project striped lines - especially that wide - across Rockit's face while he is lying in bed. (00:07:00)

Continuity mistake: In the wide view of "Quick Stop Groceries," there is a yellow pole directly in front of and almost touching the far right side of the van's front bumper, but the pole isn't there in the rear view of the van. (00:01:43)

Other mistake: It isn't clear whether Robert's gunshot wound was an "entrance" or "entrance and exit" and if the nurse or surgeon? wearing scrubs committed a character mistake - "We were worried, given how deep the bullet penetrated" but Sasha "heard the bullet passed through Robert's shoulder." "Penetrating" means the bullet entered but stayed inside the body; "Perforating" means the bullet passed through the body. In general, perforating gunshot wounds tend to be less serious and therefore less "worrisome." (00:06:23 - 00:07:42)

Revealing mistake: When William and Jack open the door, enter the room, and walk past the helium-filled balloons (tied to a chair about 4' away), the balloons remain immobile. Due to how light helium balloons are, just opening the door or breathing nearby would be enough to cause the balloons to move somewhat - if they were actually there. (00:16:00)

Continuity mistake: Ishmael shots Karim in the right side of the stomach, but the wound moves to the left side.

Revealing mistake: At dinner, Chris said he is thinking of trying to escape. There is another table of diners behind him and a window can be seen in the background. The corner of the room can also be seen near the far right of the screen. JP and others turned to look at the window then the window was shown. But it could not have been the window that was behind Chris (there're no obstructions) and the kids' eyes would have been gazing toward the corner of the room. (00:31:19)

Continuity mistake: Inside the building, Nina is at different distances from the man on the bench, ranging from about one body's width to a few widths away (while accounting for her limited movement). (00:15:15)

Character mistake: Captor put a bomb under Orlando's desk chair and told him to hack into the bank and transfer $2 million into an account. Orlando responded, "If I get caught, I'm facing 20 [years in prison]." Captor's death threats to Orlando and his family members plus the actual bomb under Orlando's chair are more than enough proof of duress or coercion - legal defenses to engaging in a crime. Orlando would not be facing any prison time or criminal penalties after a legal defense was successfully raised. (00:20:07 - 00:23:20)

Factual error: The movie is set in the Northern Great Plains of the United States, and the tribe is identified as Comanche, but the Comanche were located in the Southern Great Plains, across present-day northwestern Texas, eastern New Mexico, southeastern Colorado, southwestern Kansas, and western Oklahoma.

Continuity mistake: The mailbox is roughly parallel to Richard's SUV but is more perpendicular when he looks at the address number, then it is back to parallel. (00:06:40)

Continuity mistake: The view from the (unseen) car driving toward the distant house on a hill showed fog well above the pine trees, but when the car/limo got to the house/mansion (10 seconds later), there was no fog. (00:02:17)
