Factual error: April arrives for her first day of work at "Shady Oaks Senior Living" and sees Max, the resident who passed away the night before, being wheeled out on a stretcher with his head uncovered. A deceased person's entire body would be covered by the sheet. (00:03:14)
Continuity mistake: The wall clock, after staying at around 10:12, jumps 4 minutes (to 10:16) in less than 20 seconds. (00:01:05)
Continuity mistake: Outside the warehouse door/metal gate, Shae's flashlight produces a bright circle of light onto the pavement because it is a dimly-lit area. She uses her flashlight to look under the gate, which is open about 2' at the bottom. After she rolls under the gate, the pavement now behind her is in the sunlight. (00:42:15)
Continuity mistake: The patch of dirt/mud that Briggs had on the left side of his face near his eye when he woke up tied to a chair in Gus' barn disappeared and reappeared (in a different shape) a few times (e.g, when he knocked over his chair, when he stood up, and when he was inside Gus' house). Continuity mistake: Jackie holds her pen as she takes notes. Next, her pen is set on the legal pad and her hands are on her lap (below the table and pen). The camera returns to Jackie, and she continues to hold the pen as she takes notes the whole time. (This allows for other questionable variations that could occur off-screen, if enough time.) Continuity mistake: The bottle of beer on the bar in front of Everett disappears in one shot but re-appears. Also, depending on the camera's angle, Everett either has his right hand holding onto the edge of the bar or is below the bar (out of sight). (00:04:25 - 00:40:14)
Continuity mistake: The man picks up his duffel bag and swings it over his shoulder, but does not use its strap. He runs through the woods, and the strap is over his shoulder. Continuity mistake: There are orange traffic cones about 3' from each side of the front bumper of Sarah's car, but they are not always visible when they should be. In the right-rear view of the car, the left cone is not visible, but the car cannot conceal it. The traffic cone is visible before Aden is walking around the front of the car, but not when he is walking to the door. The tip of a cone is visible some distance opposite the rear passenger door, but cannot be the one near the front bumper. (00:01:52 - 00:02:55)
Continuity mistake: Before Max gets to his brother Vince's motel room, his mustache/facial hair is quite light, just beginning to grow. Less than two minutes later when Max is inside Vince's room, his mustache/facial hair looks longer, darker, and more pronounced (and not merely due to the room being darker than it was outside). After Max and Vince talked for a while, Max's mustache/facial hair returned to its earlier stage, similar to when he was outside. (Suggests not filmed on consecutive days). (00:08:22 - 00:10:00)
Continuity mistake: A girl touches Sam's wounds with her right thumb, but when the shot changes, she is using her index finger. (01:33:20)
Continuity mistake: Stan (Grandpa) gets impaled in his upper left arm by the metal jack part. The front of his jersey's short sleeve is saturated with blood, almost to the orange stripe near his shoulder. Helen goes to see her dad's injury, and Stan's upper shirt sleeve and shoulder are free of blood, but the lower part and his arm are covered. (00:12:09)
Continuity mistake: The position/angle of the telescope that Ronald uses to watch the nude lady and spot Sky in Chris' house doesn't match how the telescope was supposedly redirected. The telescope (which is already oddly angled toward the side window sill and initially corresponding to about 8:10 on a clock) would sometimes correspond to roughly 9:17 but awkwardly between 10:20 and 11:20 other times. Despite the different angles, Ronald was watching the same nude lady. (00:41:56 - 00:44:36)
Continuity mistake: Honor's laptop is on the bed, behind her back, with the screen lit. It automatically goes into timeout. Honor doesn't move from where she is sitting on the bed or turn around, but the screen is lit again (display is showing) without her waking it up. (00:51:35 - 00:53:26)
Revealing mistake: This happens in the second ceremony when Wolf didn't press the button to shut off the lights to steal the golden dolphin because of the good comments. Few seconds later, the lights shut off, and you can see that the meteor on the top disappears at the time.
Audio problem: When the boy and the leader of Iceland are hammering in posts and the boy is complaining that he's the heir and shouldn't have to do manual labor, there are at least two times when bad wind flutter in the microphones can be heard. It sounds like the wind clips the volume level and the audio briefly cuts out. It happens on windy film shoots, as wind screens can only prevent so much and its obviously very windy in this scene. Why this wasn't caught in post is hard to say. This is audible on the video on demand version.
Suggested correction: No such problem exists on the UHD/Blu-ray release. I also did not notice it on the VOD release, so it could have just been an issue with your sound setup.
Continuity mistake: The clock on the wall behind Carl when he is pushing the wheelchair to Bess' room is at 11:58. After Carl puts Bess into the wheelchair and is pushing her down the hall, the clock is at 11:45 (or, possibly, 9:00). (00:14:08 - 00:15:40)
Revealing mistake: The rhino that killed (or "erased") Paul was obviously CGI and quite fake-looking, especially the way it was running. (01:32:50)
Continuity mistake: During the time Sean and Kunle are talking to Bianca after class, Sean is wearing two gold necklaces but only the longer one is showing a few times. (00:04:30 - 00:05:41)
Continuity mistake: Young Norma Jean is shown a photo of her father placed at the head of her bed. It has him facing right and there is a large white defect in the photo at the upper left corner. When the photo is "talking" to her in a succeeding scene, he is facing left, and the defect is on the upper right corner.
