Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, the girl gets assaulted from the back: you see at first exactly from the shot from behind that the backpack she is carrying escapes her arms, but in the subsequent shot she is still holding it. (00:02:10)
Continuity mistake: When Nicolas Cage aka Frank Walsh first shoots a blow dart at Kevin Durand aka Richard Loffler he hits him in the left shoulder. Ten seconds later Kevin he pulls the dart out of his right shoulder. (01:23:15)
Continuity mistake: Phil put 7 bottles of "Ouzo" in his basket (and left two on the display). When he was driving away, there were 11 bottles of "Ouzo" in the box on his seat. Also, when Phil was drinking on the bridge, the "Ouzo" was dark-colored (but "Ouzo" is clear or cloudy white). (00:15:32 - 00:24:14)
Continuity mistake: Much to the photographer's dismay, Kate's husband receives a 'very important call' when they are posing at the beginning of the movie. The photographer's right hand is horizontal on the lens during his reaction shot, but he had it vertical on the camera body before the cut. (00:01:20)
Continuity mistake: After Victoria and Mr. Mistoffelees close the door and escape from the dog, he holds his hat with his left hand. A shot later his hand is on his thigh, the hat on the floor.
Continuity mistake: When we see Christmas Flint with her dad and Miss Rayleen for the first time, she's watching them bicker, her chin perched on the back of her hand. Which hand, though? It's her left hand for the greater part of the scene, but in the shot when Jim Gaffigan is saying "I got to find my pants. You move my pants?" it's the right one. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: In church, Mrs. Smith was seated at the aisle, John was to her right, and Mr. Smith was next to John. After John stood up, he was standing next to the aisle and his mother was not there. In a wide view two seconds later, Mrs. Smith is sitting next to the aisle and John and Mr. Smith are to her right again. Also, when John was standing at the aisle, he was very close to the pews on the opposite side, but when Mrs. Smith was sitting next to the aisle, the aisle was about three times as wide. Continuity mistake: After the intro, the protagonist receives a phone call from her sister. When she turns around to check out of the TV screen, one of her fellow swimmers, with quite characteristic purple hair, is immediately seen sitting down. Back to the view from inside the locker, the same aubergine-haired girl is coming from the lockers to the benches, to go sit. (00:03:45)
Continuity mistake: Right at the beginning, two dumb kids looking for drugs are forced to make a spontaneous donation to the cult. Before the stream starts the pink polo one does not have the scooter on his shoulder, which is back when the stream starts, then off again.
Continuity mistake: Sira pours Sprite into a glass until it is about three-fourths full, but the glass is closer to half-full when he hands it to his mother. (00:02:00)
Continuity mistake: The bartender pours two beers that have no foam on the top. When the beers are set on the table they have about one inch of foam. When the camera angle changes there is no foam. (01:18:45)
Continuity mistake: A tipsy Emma puts her feet up in first class. The flight attendant tells her that it's unacceptable; her right hand is high-low-high again between shots. (00:08:05)
Continuity mistake: Feng's "sex doll" Maria apparently moves herself further down on the bed. When Bruce is offering Feng stacks of $100 bills, Maria can be seen in the background with her head at the middle of and largely horizontal to the two pillows by the headboard. After Bruce leaves and Feng turns around waving the credit card, Maria is closer to the foot of the bed and her head is more toward the right of the screen. (00:27:44 - 00:28:36)
Continuity mistake: Barney, Jim, and Angus enter a hallway that has a few lamps setting atop dresser drawers or tables. There are two lamps closest to the door; Angus stops after the first two lamps. When the camera shifts to a close-up, the hallway wall behind the lamp is no longer straight. Instead, there is an indentation (short wall) behind the lamp and the first lamp is not visible. Also, Angus becomes taller than the lamp in the close-up. (00:40:27)
Continuity mistake: The inspector is showing the singer the gruesome images of her friend. As he says "It's how we identified the remains", she raises her right hand, but in the next shot it's with the left hand that she's touching her lips. (00:04:45)
Continuity mistake: The evil stepsisters shove Kat at the feet of Dominic with latte splattered all over her face. But the mess looks different in the various shots. For instance, in the close-up when he asks her if she's okay and if she hurt herself there's a big splotch by the corner of her mouth, which was not there earlier (she was dirty under the nose at most) and is gone in the next shot. Continuity mistake: Shaft Jr is in an FBI meeting, and the director asks for a volunteer for a mission. Shaft raises his right hand, next shot his left hand is raised. (00:10:05)
Continuity mistake: After surviving the breakfast drone, Kim's mom goes in her room to talk to her before school. Kim puts the pompoms in her bag, but the bag is turned opposite ways between shots. (00:09:40)
Continuity mistake: In the police station, a guard comes out of the toilet and fumbles with his zip, the shot goes to a man on white talking in his phone. When he comes out of his office the man is still fumbling with his zip again. (01:01:03)
